Online Game: My Health Point Has No Limits

“Leader, Carefree Dream has single-handedly killed 100 players on our side. What should we do next?”

“Add another 100.”

“Got it!”

Li Yi looked at his HP recovering to full once more. There were no more tools left in his backpack to use.

Another 100 or so players appeared in front of him. It seemed that the other party was only still probing with this situation.

This was good as it would buy his squad members more time.

Although the surroundings were relatively empty. The burnt branches were still able to divide the battlefield. The players’ vision was limited.

At most, it was 100 by 100 range. Any more and they would not be able to see further. Those who were on the battlefield would not be able to communicate with those outside.

Players who were not participating in the event were not allowed to transmit information about the situation to the players in the event.

Divine Revelation’s officials placed a lot of importance on their own activities and did not allow any external forces to interfere. Hence, every time there was an event, the players placed a lot of importance on it as well.

This was also one of the key parts of Li Yi’s plan.

Apart from the 100 players in front of him, there were about 600 players left behind.

Li Yi had long crafted a plan in his heart.

He did not fight but started to retreat. Faced with the 100 players, he backed up step by step.

Without other items, it would be very difficult to break through that indestructible lineup. There was no need to waste his energy here.

However, he had to keep the other party on guard and buy time for the rest.

This was the best he could think of right now. Every time Li Yi retreated, the 100 players in front of him took a step forward. Both sides did not make any unnecessary movements.

It seemed that they were all on high alert.

“Send in another 100 players.”

“Yes, sir.”

Soon, another 100 players surrounded Li Yi. It seemed that they did not intend to let him escape.

“Hey, are you planning to surround and kill me?”

Li Yi did not intend to be bullied just like that.

A bloody mist appeared, and the players around him retreated back with large steps. They wanted to avoid Li Yi’s attack range.

Li Yi raised his eyebrows. It seemed that the other party had some understanding of his skills.

This time, Li Yi became even more cautious. Since the other party had some understanding of his skills. Then there must be a corresponding counter-strat. If he continued to randomly release skills, it would only be disadvantageous to him.

Right now, he knew that he still posed a threat to them. Only by using this threat skillfully could he buy more time.

This battle had become a battle of the wits.

If he wanted to win, he had to think one step ahead of the other party.

Li Yi, unfortunately, did not know anything about the other party’s situation. However, the other party seemed to understand his ability. This situation was disadvantageous on his end.

Li Yi had to tackle the issue of turning the situation that was disadvantageous to him into a situation that was advantageous to him right now.

The army that surrounded Li Yi in the front row were all raising their shields in preparation. If he were to rashly use Charge, he might get hit with a mighty shield.

The current situation was that he had to jump out of the encirclement first.

The characteristic of Li Yi’s Charge was to aim at the target and then sprint. The prerequisite for aiming could be seen by other players, making it an easily predicted move.

However, now that he was surrounded by this army, he could not see the figure in the back row.

He could not do the jump shot that he did before. That was a very difficult thing to carry out.

The current Li Yi could be said to be besieged on all sides, and he had nowhere to exert his strength.

“If possible, I really hope that such a person is not an enemy but a friend.”

“Aura!””

A red atmosphere lit up around Li Yi’s body, and an imposing manner of bravely charging forward arose spontaneously.

To be honest, this time, Li Yi really did not have any tricks up his sleeves.

Right now, he could only go and waste his opponents time. His hopes were all placed on his squadmates.

He held the magic weapon in his hand and glared at his surroundings.

A crossbow appeared behind the shield. It seemed like he had to parry the oncoming attacks first to buy time.

“Ready! Release!”

“Lost Magic!”

“Critical Strike!”

“-54,120! Critical Hit!”

Li Yi became invincible against the rain of arrows and slashed at the nearest person.

“Shields! Open!”

[System Notification: Player Tiny Naive has withdrawn from the game.]

After taking care of one person, Li Yi wanted to continue his efforts, but these players seemed to have already predicted how to deal with this situation.

“Weaken him!”

“Shield Strike! Go!”

The Priest immediately used the Weaken skill. The surrounding players collectively used their shields to hit Li Yi’s body, trapping him in the middle. Li Yi could not move a single step.

“Starlight’s Blessing!”

Li Yi tried his best to break free from the many players. He was still in a weakened state, so it was difficult for him to fully utilize it.

Fortunately, Weaken could not be overlapped or added on, otherwise, Li Yi would be stuck here forever.

After Weaken, a bloody mist surrounded the players!

The blood mist spread, and the players around were all sent flying.

“-10,222! Block!”

“-9,842! Block!”

“-9,822! Block!”

…

However, some players had already activated their shields, and the effects were not particularly jarring.

At least now, Li Yi had more space to move.

“Combo!”

“-8,742! Block!”

“-8,622! Block!”

…

Li Yi now had to be wary of every skill he used. His HP recovered quickly, but his MP did not.

His low MP became his weak spot. His skill consumption was too high. He knew that he should not throw all of them at once.

Especially when the opponent was targeting the formation.

Although Li Yi could kill them instantly, the opponent kept beating around the bush and only intended to slowly weaken him.

Even if they had the strength, they would not be able to test it out.

Although the opponent’s numbers were decreasing…

Li Yi’s HP decreased along with it…

Now, it was a battle of attrition.

However, fighting a battle of attrition had not been Li Yi’s original intention. After all, he still had to think of a way to fight for first place on the leaderboard.

There were still tens of thousands of soldiers to deal with.

He could not just hand himself oh a silver platter here.

Li Yi, who had scruples in his heart, no longer had the imposing manner of fighting a thousand players at the city gates like he had in the beginning.

The battle had also become somewhat sluggish.

This situation quickly turned very difficult for him.

The problem was that as long as he persevered a little longer and waited for his teammates to arrive, there was a possibility of several things happening.

Li Yi’s mentality determined the way he fought. With great difficulty, he finally saw a way out.

In a flash, someone else surrounded him and filled up the gap for his exit.

Li Yi was once again surrounded. In fact, even if the team had lost dozens of players, they still had more to spare.

Li Yi’s heart began to grow a lingering fear.

If they could trap him, they would try their best to keep him there and not take the initiative to challenge him.

The mentality of both sides stayed the same.

Li Yi did not know whether this situation was considered a good or bad thing for him.

However, now, he could only work with what was given to him.

Looking at the dim sky, he knew that it should be about time. He willed himself to stay on for a while longer.

The Aura on his body gradually faded. Li Yi held his sword and shield in his hand, but he did not make a move.

The stalemate between the two sides was what Li Yi wanted the most right now.

That was a good sign.

“Retreat!”

Suddenly, the enemy players heard the order and all retreated.

“Did the plan get discovered?”

Li Yi frowned.
