[System Notification: Forging skill proficiency has reached 50%. Player has reached the limit in proficiency making.]

Little Merchant had already returned and collected the mountain of equipment on the ground, looking for a place to sell them.

Li Yi had worked for a full three hours without stopping, and his body could not take it any longer. However, now was not the time to rest. Li Yi took in a deep breath and took out the Mithril that he had kept previously, as well as the materials from the Drakonid.

The first thing to be forged was SNow Chaser’s staff.

To forge a staff, materials like Mithril were needed. Although the Drakonid also had magic attributes, those were the effects from the core.

The skin, flesh, and scales of a dragon could not be used to forge a magic weapon, so it was mostly used to forge a defensive tool.

Therefore, in comparison, Mithril contains magic elements that have a better effect. Not only was its hardness very sturdy, but the magical elements it contained were also not weak.

He took out the Mithril and began to forge.

[System Notification: Do you wish to forge your staff?]

Li Yi clicked the yes option without hesitation.

[System Notification: Forging commencing.]

Li Yi began to forge the weapon. His body moved like a skilled old craftsman as he melted the Mithril.

After making a slender iron rod, he began to carve runes on it.

Rune carving was a very delicate job. Even the slightest flaw would affect its quality.

However, Li Yi was now at a 50% proficiency in forging. He looked at ease when he carved the runes.

In just a short while, the carving of the runes was completed. Next was the embedding of the magic stone.

Currently, the magic stone was not any rare magic stone. The origin of the magic stone was rather mysterious. It was located in an unknown land that was under the supervision of the country. Due to the rarity of the magic stone, players were not allowed to mine it privately, there would be officials who would distribute the magic stone on a regular basis.

Moreover, the quality of the magic stone distributed was the same. After all, if the magic stone was too powerful, current players would not be able to control it. They might even suffer a backlash, just like Li Yi’s magic sword, other than him, there was probably no one else who could use it.

The exquisite and transparent magic stone was carefully inlaid on the staff as it resonated with the runes on the staff. Li Yi released his grip, and the magic stone immediately fused with the staff. There was no way anyone could take it out anymore.

After a low hum, the room emitted a dazzling light. This was a special effect unique to flawless equipment when it gets formed. This time, it had the support of Mithril, whether it was in terms of hardness, or it’s magic foundation, this weapon should be of the highest quality.

[System Notification: Congratulations for successfully forging a staff.]

[System Notification: You have obtained an unnamed staff that is a flawless grade weapon.]

[System Notification: Do you wish to name this weapon?]

All the previous weapons had not been named. Li Yi had ignored naming them, so the names of those weapons were all named high-quality greatswords.

However, this weapon was specially made for Snow Chaser, so he had to give it a good name.

Li Yi thought about it for a long time and came up with a name.

“Let’s call it First Snow.”

[System Notification: Are you sure you want to name this weapon First Snow?]

“Yes.”

[System Notification: Congratulations for successfully naming it the staff.]

Li Yi looked at the weapon panel in his hand.

[Weapon: First Snow]

[Rarity: Perfect]

[Magic Attack: 42]

[Attribute Enhancement: Intelligence +15]

[Equipment Condition: None]

Li Yi looked at the stats and was not very satisfied with it. He felt that it was much too ordinary for Snow Chaser. It seemed like it still needed to be strengthened.

“Little Merchant, bring that thing that you bought from the market earlier.”

Little Merchant walked downstairs with a displeased expression.

“Take it, be careful not to waste it.”

Li Yi took a blue potion bottle from Little Merchant that had the label Magic Liquid on it.

It was used to increase MP. This was a forging method that was specifically used for magic equipment.

Li Yi took First Snow and the Magic Liquid to the forging table.

He took out his own strengthening stone and started forging.

[System Notification: Do you wish to forge?]

“Yes”

[System Notification: Forging commencing.]

Similar to what he did before, he placed the strengthening stone and First Snow together and poured a solution. The entire process was smooth. After the solution was poured over, he placed the staff into the pool at the side.

Then, he poured in the Magic Liquid. In an instant, the entire pool turned blue. There was also a faint fragrance that smelled intoxicating.

After a while, he took out the staff and started to hit it with a hammer.

[System Notification: Forging completed.]

He picked up the check panel.

[Weapon: First Snow]

[Quality: Perfect]

[Magic Attack: 66]

[Attribute Buff: Intelligence +20]

[Skill: Meditation is a passive skill. Reduces the MP needed to cast skills by 10%]

[Equipment Condition: None]

A piece of perfect-grade equipment could only add attributes, but it would not improve the quality.

However, any weapon below a perfect grade could improve the quality under the effect of the strengthening stone that Li Yi had.

Facing such a panel, Li Yi nodded his head in satisfaction.

This way, Snow Chaser could cast more spells.

Unfortunately, Li Yi’s forging proficiency was only 50%.

He had to reach 80% to forge flawless-grade equipment.

After reaching 100%, he could be given a chance to forge legendary equipment.

However, he was not of a blacksmith class, so ordinary players could only reach 50%.

Otherwise, he could directly forge flawless-grade equipment and he did not waste so many materials.

Next, Li Yi made a pile of equipment.

He used all the Mithril and Drakonid Armor he had.

As for the Drakonid Scales and Drakonid Meat, they were not useful… for now.

The materials for the Drakonid were, of course, for himself.

This was not for a selfish intent, but Li Yi was the most important fighting force. If he wanted to win, of course, he had to improve his own set as well.

After working all night, Little Merchant was so tired that he went offline.

Li Yi worked tirelessly like a little bee.

Although Clutch King had a spear, it was not his original professional weapon, it being a long range weapon. Of course, he needed a set of dual blades, and Li Yi needed to make a perfect pair.

On the other hand, Dream Seeker’s main attack method was to throw bombs. This also caused him to completely ignore his close-combat weapons. Thus, the long blades that Dream Seeker used were only of ordinary quality.

One of the remaining three strengthening stones was given to Snow Chaser.

The remaining two were just enough for Clutch King and Dream Seeker.

At the very least, he could forge two more perfect-level weapons.

Together with the equipment that Li Yi had forged with these rare materials, they could more or less make up for the difference in equipment between them and the other common players.

Or could it be that they would be better equipped than other common players?
