A Sorcerer’s Journey

Chapter 1336: Chapter 1337: Dark Sun

Splish splash...

The Eternal Spring descends from the heavens, flows to the sea and never returns, traveling ninety thousand miles east in a day, to the dark abyss of the Everlasting Oil Well Spring.

”Oh oh, oh yeah, yo ho!”

Plop! Plop! Plop! Plop...

Little Wan, Green, Dandelion, Three-legged Golden Crow, and dozens of Death Crows flow downstream amidst the waves emanating an eternal aura, and with a series of ”plop” sounds, they fall into a vast clear pool below, stirring up large waves.

”Wakakaka, that was so much fun, I’m not satisfied, I want to play again!”

The Eternal Spring descends from the sky, the sound of the rushing water is continuous, Little Wan is extremely excited, shaking his oily shiny multicolored feathers and scattering the water droplets from his body, suddenly noticing an anomaly in the sky.

”What’s that?”

Green stands on the relatively tranquil expansive pool, walking leisurely, ripples forming at his feet.

Confirming that the group beside him hadn’t encountered any accidents and that no danger lurked around, he quietly feels the world, which is even larger than the Black Gold World in scale, its internal rules now able to impose a strong constraint on Green.

This is a thriving, powerful world.

Following Little Wan’s indication, the three-colored light eyes beneath Green’s Face of Truth glance upwards at the sky.

It is a black sun, purely black, with no light able to penetrate its surface, like a black hole absorbing all illumination; the light of wandering rules within the world is mercilessly devoured upon nearing it, ordinary beings can only discern its presence through changes in the surrounding light.

”Source of Darkness...”

Unlike most beings, who can only perceive the world’s surface through light.

With the Face of Truth, Green can sense the world’s surface in multiple ways, directly accessing the mysteries of truth, and due to his prolonged contact with the Mysterious Force of the Source of Darkness, he instantly recognizes this gathering of dark ball formed by the mysterious power.

”Hmm? It’s not just the Source of Darkness.”

In a more refined perception, the dark sun is formed by the continuous gathering of mysterious power from all corners of the world.

This sphere hanging high in the sky has already become one of the rules of this world; inside, a powerful being is dormant, seemingly nurturing a new form of dark life.

Even native creatures within this realm include strong World Masters, with strengths far surpassing typical mid-scale worlds.

”Green, what should we do now?”

Only the closest Wizards would address each other by name; for High-Order Wizards, calling by first names is akin to using a nickname.

At Two Rings Holy Tower, 22nd Area, now only Green and Dandelion remain, both in foreign land, relying on each other, yearning to return to the Wizard World, counting as allies through hardships.

”This world boasts considerable inclusion strength, not lacking powerful beings. As for these Sources of Darkness, they must have infiltrated through time-space rifts from the Dark World Cluster. First, let’s search for dark heavy oil wells, preferably larger ones.”

Green looked at the Wandering Dandelion Stigmata Sorcerer; for such matters, this Stigmata Great Wizard is quite suited.

Understanding the plan, innumerable Dandelions scattered and drifted; these avatars, though not possessing great abilities, are enough to find oil wells in this world.

”Gagaga, it’s said that creatures here drink dark crude oil as the source of their strength; young master, shall we try it too to see if it tastes good?”

Little Wan was unexpectedly tempted, eager to try anything.

In the sky, besides the dark sun of the Source of Darkness, streams descend from the heavens, the wandering rule lights illuminate the sky a pale gold, with a bluish background and white clouds scattered.

”First, let’s see what’s inside it.”

Green said, his figure blurred, surrounded by whistling winds, traversing True Time, in the midst of air twisting and compressing from all sides, he approached the dark sun suspended in the sky.

The purest darkness, strands of the Source of Darkness resemble black smoke, clashing with surrounding light sources, irradiating in all directions, gradually in the fusion of light and darkness, mutually obliterating each other.

This dark sun is tens of thousands of meters in size, nearly matching the true body of the Eternal Moon in scale.

From the high sky, overlooking the entire dark crude oil land, black smoke threads emerge from every corner, gradually gathering towards the high sky; usually most dissolve in low or mid-air, only those larger dark columns can barely ascend and merge into this dark sun.

”Oh? It’s like this, following these Sources of Darkness can lead to sufficiently large dark oil wells!”

Green shook his head; relying on the numerous Wandering Dandelion avatars to find dark oil wells is fast, but compared to Green searching from the essence of truth, it’s negligible.

Meanwhile, Green clearly sensed the impatient urgency of the enigmatic curved-head bird on his little finger, wondering lightly, his gaze flickered, raising his hand, a black flame rose to the sky.

Chirps!

Roars!

Caws...

The blazing black flames, pure Source of Darkness aura, the Infernal Soul Myriad-Headed Bird unfurls its wings, its tens of thousands meters long body blocking out the sky, with a long neck, extending nine hundred ninety-nine heads, intertwining like powerful, wild pythons, pairs of cold eyes gazing towards the dark sun’s interior, where a formidable dark life form slumbers.

”Little Wan, what’s wrong?”

Little Wan flew to one of the Infernal Soul Myriad-Headed Bird’s heads, asking curiously, moments ago, the bird’s reaction was intense, driven by the instinct of life evolution.

One head of the Infernal Soul Myriad-Headed Bird spoke softly to Little Wan, while the other heads stared intently at the dark sun.

Compared to this huge dark sun, the Infernal Soul Myriad-Headed Bird was still insignificant, like a watermelon beside a red fruit.

Thump! Thump! Thump...

The powerful heartbeat grew faster, followed by a peculiar oppressive feeling, from calm to fervent, a deep, vast laughter emerged.

”Hehehe, hehehehehe, hehehehehehe...”

Fwoosh!

Four elongated eyes suddenly opened on the dark sun, releasing pure, white integrating brightness, Green’s three-colored light eyes narrowed slightly.

This sensation, surprisingly, is the Awakening Light of the illusory realm!

”Unexpectedly, having completed physique transformation outside the Dark World Cluster, grown to this extent, now planning to return to the Dark World Cluster to achieve becoming a Dark Ancestor?”

The four elongated, white eyes glanced respectively at Green, Little Wan, the Infernal Soul Myriad-Headed Bird, and the ground, ultimately focusing all attention on the Infernal Soul Myriad-Headed Bird.

”It’s a pity, Primordial Saint Ancestor is engaged in a war there, making even any Dominator shudder; returning now would be seeking death.”

Sorry, these days have been really busy; although preparations were made earlier... it’ll be better next month, I’ll adjust the time to update in the morning.

The second update will be around half-past nine, apologies.
