Chapter 2211: Chapter 2208: Return to the Holy Moon Sect

After bidding farewell to the Asura Hall Master and the Wind Shattering Palace Master, Xiao Yi left the Asura Territory.

In the high sky, Xiao Yi and Yiyi flew by controlling the air.

No, to be precise, Xiao Yi was carrying Yiyi while flying.

Sword Qi enveloped the body, moving without wind.

Though it seemed like air control, it was actually enhanced by Space Power. Although they hadn’t completely escaped into space, it was as if they had carved out a new Space Sword Dao to glide through.

Such speed was far beyond what ordinary martial artists could achieve.

Yiyi watched the distances constantly being crossed beneath her feet and the swift retreat of the scenery on both sides with amazement.

”My lord, this technique is using the Sword Dao to control the Space Dao, penetrating the Space Dao, right?”

Yiyi said joyfully; she had tried her own fast wind-controlling flight and had previously been carried through space by the Saint Lord.

But the feeling of seemingly stepping on Sword Qi and gliding through space now was extremely wonderful.

She hadn’t even noticed that in her joy, she was tightly holding onto Xiao Yi’s arm, her bird-like body completely leaning against Xiao Yi’s elbow.

Xiao Yi smiled.

Such intimacy was nothing.

But Yiyi’s unreserved state was something rarely seen.

Xiao Yi looked at Yiyi, gently scratched her delicate nose, saying nothing.

In his heart, however, was immense complexity.

”Little girl, you don’t even know the secrets hidden within you, do you?”

Xiao Yi thought to himself.

Yes, Yiyi had secrets.

The Saint Lord and Senior Luoo hadn’t explicitly stated them, but Xiao Yi could guess them.

Yet, during these one and a half years of wandering, Xiao Yi hadn’t noticed anything out of the ordinary.

But it’s alright if he couldn’t understand.

He, Xiao Yi, could protect her, care for her, and accompany her.

But, that doesn’t mean he could delay her journey along the Martial Arts Dao.

Xiao Yi certainly didn’t want that.

Moreover, with the day of crisis approaching, rather than having her follow him, it was better to place her in a more peaceful place to pass through this crisis.

At this moment, Yiyi seemed to be slightly tickled by Xiao Yi’s gentle touch on her nose, and she gently furrowed her nose.

”My lord actually wanted to visit the eight Hall Masters today, didn’t you?”

Xiao Yi nodded, ”Yes, even if I didn’t have doubts, I would still visit each of them.”

Saying this, Xiao Yi slightly bitterly smiled, ”Otherwise, those old fellows can sometimes behave like children and sulk. If I only visited Senior Luoo and not the others, who knows how they would scold me later.”

Indeed, Xiao Yi initially intended to visit each of them.

It just happened that he had doubts, which served as a reason to inquire.

Counting today, after the end of this journey, he had visited each of the eight Hall Masters.

Next, he should also start his new path of training.

But before that, he must first send Yiyi back to the Holy Moon Sect.

Although it once felt like a prison, it was indeed a safe place.

Besides, that cage had already been broken by him; now that it couldn’t confine, it’s more a place of protection than a prison.

...

Two hours later.

Xiao Yi and Yiyi arrived at the central region of the Central Region.

Ahead was that ordinary high mountain.

In the skies, that round moon was glaringly bright, beautiful.

Swoosh... swoosh...

Their silhouettes flashed, instantly stepping onto the mountain, then into this Outer World.

Almost at the instant they appeared.

Numerous auras locked onto them from the surroundings.

”Who dares trespass the Holy Moon Sect?”

A dozen figures instantly surrounded them.

These dozen people were clearly the mountain guard warriors of the Holy Moon Sect, each with extraordinary auras, all being Saint Sovereign Realm experts.

Any of them placed outside would be enough to dominate.

However, after seeing clearly it was Xiao Yi and Yiyi, the dozen people’s expressions instantly changed.

”Holy Daughter?”

”Master Xiao Yi?”

These dozen people looked at Yiyi with respect and a hint of a frown.

While looking at Xiao Yi, there was intense apprehension and a trace of spite.

”Aura locking?” Xiao Yi glanced at the dozen around him, saying indifferently, ”Are you sure?”

”We don’t dare.” The dozen quickly snapped out of it, gritting their teeth and withdrawing the aura locks.

At the same time, from afar, several elders flew in.

”Holy Daughter?” The faces of the titled elders changed similarly, reflecting the expressions of the dozen around.

They too looked at Xiao Yi with apprehension and spite.

But the difference was, their gaze towards Yiyi was full of respect and rich joy.

”Greetings, elders.” The dozen hurriedly saluted.

”At ease.” The titled elders waved grandly, smiling broadly, ”What brings the Holy Daughter back to the sect today?”

”I will report to the Saint Lord; the Saint Lord will surely be delighted.”

An elder hurriedly flew away controlling the air.

The remaining two elders flashed to the front of the two, but after seeing Xiao Yi, they stopped still at a slight distance.

”For what matter does Master Xiao Yi grace us with your presence today?” The titled elders cautiously suppressed their joy, warily watching Xiao Yi.

Xiao Yi shrugged, ”I have no interest in entering your Holy Moon Sect.”

”It’s merely to bring Yiyi back for a short stay.”

”If not welcomed, we will leave immediately.”

Xiao Yi’s tone was light and cold.

The titled elders were initially surprised, then quickly responded, saying hurriedly, ”No, no, Master Xiao Yi’s presence, how dare we not welcome?”

Saying this, the elders’ eyes landed on Yiyi, smiled warmly, ”After all, Yiyi lived in the Holy Moon Sect for ten years, of course, she has nostalgia.”

”If she wants to return, it’s anytime, but we must report this to the Saint Lord.”

”Follow me to the main hall first.”

In their joy, the elder’s address to Yiyi had changed.

It’s easy to imagine how much the old fellows of the Holy Moon Sect truly adored and cared for Yiyi.

The two elders led the way.

After a moment, they landed outside the Holy Moon Hall.

Just about to enter the Holy Moon Hall, a thick aura rapidly came from the depths of the Holy Moon Sect’s back mountain.

Even before the person arrived, an overwhelming aura pressurized instantly.

”Careful.” The two elders’ faces changed, quickly stepping across to block in front.

Of course, accurately speaking, they blocked in front of Yiyi.

However, one person moved even faster than them.

Xiao Yi pulled Yiyi behind him, stepped forward, and released his own intense aura.

Bang...

The confrontation of the two auras instantly rocked the high skies above this Outer World within the Holy Moon Sect with continuous explosions.

In just a few breaths, Xiao Yi’s aura quickly fell into a disadvantage.

Xiao Yi squinted; in the entire Holy Moon Sect, few possessed such cultivation.

Indeed, from above, a dignified elder descended from the sky.

”Moon Venerate Supreme,” the two titled elders hurriedly saluted.

”Moon Venerate Supreme,” Yiyi addressed.

The elder was the Supreme Elder of the Holy Moon Sect, the Moon Venerate Martial Saint.

However, the Moon Venerate Martial Saint’s expression was clearly filled with extreme coldness.

This coldness almost entirely focused on the gaze towards Yiyi.

”Holy Daughter? Hmph.” Moon Venerate Martial Saint snorted coldly, ”You dare return to my Holy Moon Sect?”

...

First update.
