That Day When Suzuki-kun Wasn't the Mob-B!

”Hmm....”

Finn let out a thoughtful hum, deeply surprised by the escort that had just stepped out of the teleportation circle. He never expected Sirzechs Lucifer to take this peace summit so incredibly seriously that he would dispatch his own wife to act as an escort.

Others might have looked down on the beautiful, silver-haired woman simply because she wore the immaculate, frilly uniform of a French maid. But Finn knew the terrifying truth. Grayfia Lucifuge possessed a monstrous demonic output that rivaled Serafall Leviathan.

Because Serafall was technically slightly stronger, she had claimed the title of the strongest female Devil and a Maou seat, leaving Grayfia to bear the title of the Strongest Queen.

Then again, the title of ’Strongest Queen’ is highly debatable in this world, Finn thought lazily.

Could he definitively say Grayfia was the absolute strongest? The Underworld was vast, and the Queen pieces of various peerages held terrifying anomalies. But regardless of rankings, her sheer presence was undeniably intimidating. There was also the bizarrely comical fact that in the original timeline, this fiercely loyal, married woman somehow had the potential to be charmed by Issei’s harem-protagonist aura—despite having thrown away her entire family and faction during the Civil War just to be with Sirzechs.

”It may be our very first time meeting face-to-face, but it is an absolute pleasure to finally meet you, Finn Balam-kun.”

”The pleasure is all mine. I should be the one greeting you first, er...”

”Please, just call me Grayfia,” she replied, her voice smooth and chillingly elegant.

Grayfia looked at Finn with deep, calculating silver eyes. She was instantly impressed. He was a polite, calm, and incredibly respectful young man—a refreshing, million-to-one contrast to the vulgar, breast-obsessed Red Dragon Emperor.

Not only was Finn a pure-blooded Devil, but his strength was absolutely incomprehensible. He had achieved legendary feats that defied logic. More importantly, he actively favored a lazy, peaceful life, which perfectly aligned with her husband’s political agenda for the summit.

If he can be brought into our family... Grayfia pondered silently.

It was a slightly unorthodox thought. Rias was the official heiress of the Gremory Family, and Finn was the heir to the Balam House. Usually, heirs couldn’t marry without one house absorbing the other. But if the two of them produced multiple, incredibly overpowered children, those offspring could easily inherit and sustain both noble houses separately.

Yes, he is the perfect match, Grayfia concluded.

As for the actual job of seducing him? Grayfia would entirely leave that to Rias. The Gremory bloodline had a terrifying talent for seduction—Sirzechs had easily charmed Grayfia, a fearsome enemy soldier, after all. Rias possessed that same undeniable, magnetic charm. Surely, she could wrap a young man like Finn around her finger.

Besides, Grayfia wasn’t Serafall. She couldn’t shamelessly throw herself at a young man’s feet in a Shimaidon proposal. She was a married woman with a son; such lewd tactics were strictly beneath her.

Beside the maid, Rias Gremory stood tall and confident. This was the exact reason she had volunteered to be his escort instead of Sona. Rias knew that if she didn’t aggressively make the first move, she would lose him forever. She had deliberately left her peerage members behind, executing a slightly mischievous strategy to get Finn all to herself, fully supported by her brother and sister-in-law.

Rias smiled, her mesmerizing blue-green eyes locked onto Finn. She took a step forward, the intoxicating scent of blooming crimson roses drifting off her skin, completely ready to unleash her aristocratic charm.

Only—

”Thank you so much for coming all this way to escort us, Rias-sama, Grayfia-sama.”

The sliding wooden doors of the shrine opened, and the heavy, undeniable scent of sweet rose bath oil and lingering feminine musk spilled into the twilight air.

Ravel Phenex stepped out into the courtyard. She was dressed flawlessly in a beautiful, high-class evening gown, her signature blonde drill-tails bouncing perfectly with her steps. She walked straight to Finn’s side, seamlessly sliding her arm through his. With a deeply loving, radiant smile, she leaned her entire body weight against him, deliberately pressing the heavy, soft swell of her chest firmly against his bicep.

”...”

Rias and Grayfia froze in their tracks.

Rias was simply too stunned to speak, but Grayfia’s sharp, mature eyes instantly analyzed the situation. She recognized the heavy, unmistakable flush on Ravel’s cheeks, the slight languid looseness in her posture, and the radiant, intoxicating ’afterglow’ of a woman who had just been thoroughly, breathlessly satisfied by the man she loved.

Grayfia felt a strange, uncomfortable prickle in her chest. Despite being an older, married woman, she suddenly felt as though her own intimate experiences paled in comparison to the sheer, overwhelming physical satisfaction radiating from the petite Phenex.

”...The two of you seem rather close,” Grayfia noted, her icy composure wavering just a fraction as she tried to salvage the conversation.

What in the Underworld had just happened?

They had seen Finn and Ravel interact briefly at the disastrous wedding between Rias and Riser, but they never imagined the relationship had escalated to this intense level of intimacy. Rias had always known Ravel was hovering around Finn, but she had never taken the younger girl seriously. Compared to Rias’s towering, voluptuous, bombshell figure, Ravel was completely petite! Rias firmly believed her own mature, crushing charm could make any man throw away the world for her.

Yet now, looking at the two of them glued together?

”We are,” Finn answered smoothly, completely unfazed by the terrifying auras of the Gremory women. He casually rested his hand over Ravel’s, his thumb gently stroking her knuckles. ”It isn’t official on paper yet, but after this peace summit concludes, I plan to formally visit her estate and ask her to be my official fiancée.”

Upon hearing those heavy, decisive words fall from Finn’s lips, Ravel’s expression blossomed like a sun-drenched flower. It was a look of pure, unadulterated bliss. Hot tears of absolute joy pricked the corners of her golden eyes.

”R-Really?” Ravel squeaked, her voice trembling with emotion.

”Yes,” Finn nodded lazily, a soft smile touching his lips. ”Or... do you not want to?”

”I do! I do!”

Ravel threw her arms around Finn’s neck, clinging to him desperately. Overwhelmed by happiness, she began to squirm against him, her soft, curvy hips naughtily grinding against his waist in a deeply suggestive, subconscious display of pure affection.

”...Stop being naughty in public,” Finn murmured, his voice dropping an octave as he gently but firmly gripped her waist to hold her still. If she kept rubbing against him like a cat in heat, he was going to have a very visible, highly inappropriate reaction in his trousers right in front of the Strongest Queen.

”Hehehe...”

Ravel didn’t care. She was floating on cloud nine. She buried her flushed face into his shoulder, breathing in his scent. ”Please take good care of me, Finn-sama. I swear I will make you the happiest man in the world.”

”That’s my line. I’ll make you happy,” Finn replied smoothly.

Finn knew he was far from a perfect saint, and he knew Ravel wouldn’t be the only woman in his bed. But after she had bravely offered her purity to him that morning in the hot spring, desperate to warm his freezing body, he knew she was the absolute right choice for his primary wife.

When he broke it down logically, Ravel was the ultimate answer to his lazy lifestyle.

Rias and Sona were simply too aggressively ambitious. Rias was desperate to prove her independence, constantly fighting to win Rating Games so she wouldn’t just be seen as ’Sirzechs’s little sister’. Sona was completely obsessed with her dream of building a Rating Game school for low-class Devils.

Their ambitions were noble, and Finn was more than willing to support them from the shadows. But he was a busy man with his own world-breaking plans. He couldn’t physically be in three places at once to manage their massive political empires.

Ravel, on the other hand, was entirely ready to assimilate into his life. By marrying him, she would join the Balam House. Her singular focus would be supporting him, managing his estate, and pouring all of her considerable aristocratic talents into their shared future.

Plus, her family was obscenely wealthy, meaning Finn could effortlessly achieve his ultimate dream of becoming a wildly overpowered, lazy house-husband.

And, if he was being completely superficial, she was drop-dead gorgeous and rocked a drill-like pigtail hairstyle straight out of an anime villainess trope. She was absolutely perfect.

Ravel wasn’t entirely sure what complicated logistics were running through Finn’s head, but as she leaned heavily against his chest, she slowly turned her head.

Through half-lidded, utterly satisfied golden eyes, Ravel Phenex looked directly at the stunned, defeated Rias Gremory... and offered her a gentle, devastatingly smug smile.

”.....” Rias felt her aristocratic pride shatter into a million irreparable pieces.
