Wild Crazy Male Lead's Forced Love, You Don't Want, I Want!

136: E-sports genius forced love 6The intense clatter of keyboards abruptly ceased, and the entire training room fell into an eerie silence.

All the team members looked up in unison, only to see their usually calm and composed captain suddenly push away his gaming chair, grab his jacket, and rush out.

”Lu Chen! We still have a scrim with Team KZ this afternoon...” the coach called from behind, his voice laced with rare panic.

”Taking a leave,” Lu Chen said without looking back, his voice sounding as if it was squeezed through his teeth.

His teammates exchanged glances. The support player quietly nudged the mid-laner: ”Wanna bet? He’s definitely going to find that young lady from the hallway earlier.”

He lowered his voice, ”I’ve never seen Lu Shen like this before, like he’s lost his soul.”

The mid-laner pushed up his glasses, a sharp glint reflecting off the lenses: ”I’ll bet five hundred that he won’t be back today.”

Meanwhile, in the teaching building, Wen Ci was being frantically shaken by her roommate, Lin Xiaoyu, who was tugging on her sleeve.

Lin Xiaoyu’s voice trembled with excitement: ”Ci Ci! Look at the campus forum! Someone caught Lu Shen waiting for someone downstairs in our teaching building! It’s Lu Shen, the MVP of the Esports World Championship!”

Wen Ci let out a bewildered ”Ah,” her mind instantly blank.

She never imagined that the person who had just said he wanted to pursue her in a video last night would directly come to her class today.

Her phone suddenly vibrated, and a message popped up on the lock screen:

【Turn around, look out the window】

Her heart skipped a beat. Outside the window, beneath a sycamore tree, Lu Chen stood with one hand in his pocket. His black trench coat flapped in the autumn wind, accentuating his tall and slender figure.

Sunlight filtered through the gaps in the leaves, casting dappled shadows on his stern profile.

He looked up in her direction, his gaze as sharp as a hawk locking onto its prey, yet also carrying a certain indescribable persistence.

”Oh my goodness! Is he looking at our floor?” a girl in the front row suddenly shrieked, her voice piercing the quiet of the classroom. ”He’s walking towards the teaching building!”

Wen Ci’s fingers trembled uncontrollably as she fumbled to type: 【Are you crazy? There are so many people here!】 Her fingertips slipped on the screen, and she mistyped three times before finally sending the message.

As soon as the message was sent, a commotion suddenly erupted at the back door of the classroom.

Wen Ci’s heart almost stopped. Lu Chen appeared at the doorway.

He was slightly out of breath, clearly having run all the way up. His messy bangs added a touch of wild charm.

His black trench coat was open, revealing a simple white T-shirt underneath. The faint outline of his collarbone made several girls gasp.

The entire classroom instantly fell silent, everyone’s gaze fixed on this dazzling presence that had suddenly intruded. Even the professor stopped writing on the board, his chalk suspended in mid-air.

”Student, you...” the professor pushed up his glasses, his tone filled with confusion.

”Excuse me for the interruption,” Lu Chen’s voice was deep and magnetic, exceptionally clear in the quiet classroom, ”I’m looking for Wen Ci.”

Dozens of gazes shot towards Wen Ci.

Her face flushed, her ears so hot they felt like they might bleed. She wished she could find a hole to crawl into.

Lin Xiaoyu’s eyes widened, and she let out a suppressed shriek in Wen Ci’s ear: ”Wen Ci! When did you get to know Lu Shen?! Oh my god, he’s even handsomer in person than in his live streams!”

Lu Chen had already strode over and, under everyone’s watchful eyes, grabbed her wrist.

His palm was warm and dry, his grip just right—neither allowing refusal nor hurting her.

”Let’s talk,” his voice was soft, but carried an undeniable resolve.

”Wait, wait a minute...” Wen Ci was pulled to her feet by him, and out of the corner of her eye, she saw some students secretly raising their phones to record.

Her heart pounded even faster, countless dreadful headlines flashing through her mind—”Esports God Lu Chen Appears at S University, Intimate with Mysterious Girl” ”Lu Shen’s Relationship Exposed?”

Her heart tightened, and she immediately pulled Lu Chen in the opposite direction, quickly leaving the classroom.

She had to leave this place of trouble as soon as possible, otherwise, if more photos were taken, things would only escalate.

In the hallway, Lu Chen looked at Wen Ci’s small hand tightly gripping his. All the anxiety and insecurity he felt earlier vanished in an instant, leaving only the warm and soft touch in his palm.

Her fingers were slender and long, slightly cool from nervousness, yet they brought his entire heart to a sense of peace.

Wen Ci didn’t notice the change in the person behind her. She just kept heading towards a less crowded corner.

Alarm bells rang in her mind. Lu Chen was a well-known figure in the esports world, with fans in every corner of the campus.

If he were recognized, the entire teaching building would probably be surrounded.

Turning a corner in the hallway, Wen Ci finally found an empty art room.

Just as she was about to push the door open to hide, a force suddenly came from behind her. Lu Chen propped his hand against the door, and with a ’bang,’ he slammed it shut.

In the dim room, the blinds cut the sunlight into fragmented golden lines. The scent of turpentine and paint mixed with his faint fragrance, inexplicably making her heart race.

Wen Ci was pressed against a storage cabinet, her back against the cold metal surface.

She instinctively looked up, her breathing suddenly hitched. Lu Chen’s magnified handsome face was inches away, his high nose almost brushing her cheek, and his eyelashes cast faint shadows beneath his eyes.

At this distance, she could clearly see the tiny specks of light in his pupils, like a galaxy falling into a deep pool.

”Lu Chen, you...” Her voice trembled, and her fingertips unconsciously clutched at the corner of his shirt.

”Why did you return it?” Lu Chen leaned closer, his warm breath fanning her lips, his voice suppressing an emotion on the verge of erupting, ”You don’t even want my money, so what do you want?”

Wen Ci then noticed how red his eyes were, and her heart softened instantly.

”I’m not...” She had just opened her mouth when Lu Chen suddenly bent down and rested his forehead on her shoulder.

He seemed to have lost all his strength, his fuzzy head rubbing against her neck, making it itch.

”Wen Ci,” his voice was muffled, carrying a rare hint of grievance, ”From just now until now, I’ve been thinking if I was too eager and scared you... or maybe you don’t actually like me that much...”

At this moment, Lu Chen had lost all traces of the esports demon king, looking more like a large dog abandoned by its owner.

Wen Ci’s softest spot was fiercely struck, and she couldn’t help but reach out and touch his hair.

His hair was softer than she imagined, slightly damp, indicating he had run all the way to find her.

”No, it’s not that,” she gently explained, ”I just feel that feelings can’t be measured by money...”

Lu Chen suddenly looked up, his gaze turning dangerous.

He propped one hand on the cabinet door beside her ear, and the other suddenly pressed against her waist: ”Then what measures them?”

The warmth of his palm burned her skin through the thin shirt fabric, and his thumb mischievously rubbed against the small of her back, ”Like this?”

Wen Ci gasped. That spot was her sensitive area, and a jolt of electric numbness instantly shot up her spine.

Her legs went weak, and she relied entirely on the storage cabinet behind her to keep from sliding down.

”Or...” His lips almost touched her earlobe, his breath hot, every word like a small hook, ”Like this?”

Wen Ci had never seen Lu Chen like this before, stripped of his usual calm composure, revealing a strong and dangerous nature underneath.

His gaze was like a beast locking onto its prey, yet also carrying a desperate madness, as if a single word of refusal from her could push him into an abyss.
