Wild Crazy Male Lead's Forced Love, You Don't Want, I Want!

134: E-sports genius forced love 4Ever since that time in the hallway, when Lu Chen cornered Wen Ci, his possessiveness, like a beast breaking free from its cage, could no longer be hidden.

He had always been calm and composed, never easily revealing his emotions, but only when it came to her.

The desserts she made, she only let him taste; she didn’t like to initiate conversations with people, but she always initiated conversations with him; when she looked at him, her eyes curved, as if filled with starlight.

Every night, Lu Chen lay in bed, his fingertips gently pressing against his chest, feeling his heart, which beat wildly because of her, finally realizing it.

He was finished.

He had fallen for her.

From then on, every night was no longer long; as long as he thought of her bright smile, his heart felt as if it were soaked in honey, soft with sweetness.

But with it came an even stronger possessiveness.

She was so good, what if someone else snatched her away?

So, he began to press closer, step by step.

Every afternoon at seven, Wen Ci’s phone would vibrate punctually.

[Online.]

— It was Lu Chen’s message.

If she replied ten minutes late, the next message would definitely carry a low pressure: [Busy?]

What was even more excessive was that he sent voice messages every time.

His deep, magnetic voice came through the receiver, and Wen Ci’s earlobes instantly flushed, her heart rate accelerating uncontrollably.

She knew he was doing it on purpose.

After all, she had once accidentally said, ”Your voice... is quite nice.”

From then on, he remembered.

*

One night, Wen Ci was playing a ranked game with her roommate, and they were matched with a random teammate whose voice was clear and pleasant.

Right after finishing a game, her phone suddenly vibrated wildly—

[Come out.]

Wen Ci held back a smile, slowly replying: [But this random guy’s voice is really nice~]

As soon as the message was sent, a voice call popped up.

”Wen Ci.” His voice came through the current, deep and dangerous, ”You want to hear a nice voice?”

Suddenly, his deliberately lowered breathing sound came through the headphones, a warm, invasive breath that seemed to be right by her ear, and Wen Ci’s face instantly turned red.

”Is. My. Voice. Not. Good. Enough?” He enunciated each word, gritting his teeth.

Wen Ci covered her burning cheeks, her heart beating ridiculously fast.

It turned out that a cold male god was so deadly when he got jealous.

Lu Chen didn’t say sweet words, but his execution was terrifyingly strong.

She casually mentioned, ”The new skin is so cute,” and the next day, her game account had a full set of limited edition skins.

When she scrolled through Weibo and sighed that a certain dessert shop’s strawberry cake was tempting, she came home that night to find the same cake at her door.

She complained in-game, ”This hero is so difficult,” and the next day, her account had a full set of top-tier runes + exclusive skin for that hero.

Wen Ci was dumbfounded, sending him a message: [Lu Shen, aren’t you being a bit too exaggerated?]

The other party replied instantly: [Mm.]

Wen Ci was about to tease him a bit more when a bank notification suddenly popped up on her phone.

[Account income: 100,000.00 yuan]

”Lu Chen!” The moment the call connected, she exploded, ”Why did you suddenly transfer money?!”

”Pocket money.” His tone was as calm as if he were discussing the weather.

”Who gives 100,000 as pocket money?!”

The other end of the phone was silent for two seconds: ”Not enough?”

Immediately after—

[Account income: 200,000.00 yuan]

Wen Ci stared at her phone screen, completely frozen in place.

At the same time.

Lin Xia gradually realized something was wrong.

When she maxed out her credit card for the third time, she finally realized the problem belatedly.

In the hotel room late at night, she stared at the alarming overdraft amount on her mobile banking app, her fingertips trembling slightly.

Zhou Yu’an was indeed gentle, but his gentleness was like a carefully sharpened knife; every gesture of goodwill came with a hidden price.

At first, he only asked her to buy small gifts, then it became treating the entire team to dinner, and recently, he had become even more insistent, hinting that ”a professional player’s girlfriend should be more understanding.”

”Xia Xia, what do you think of this?” Zhou Yu’an suddenly embraced her from behind, resting his chin on her shoulder and pushing his phone screen in front of her. On the screen was a wristwatch worth twenty thousand.

Lin Xia’s breath hitched, and she forced a smile: ”It’s... it’s very nice, but isn’t it too expensive? I’ve already... this month...”

”Expensive?” Zhou Yu’an’s smile instantly froze.

He released her and slowly sat on the edge of the bed, his slender fingers playing with his phone, ”Do you think I don’t deserve to wear such a nice watch?”

”I didn’t mean that!” Lin Xia explained in a panic, but saw Zhou Yu’an had already stood up, approaching her step by step.

He suddenly grabbed her wrist, his grip so strong it made her wince in pain.

His sunny face was inches away, but his eyes were filled with ice: ”Then why hesitate?” His thumb ambiguously caressed her pulse, his voice gentle to the point of being chilling, ”Didn’t you say you liked me very much?”

Lin Xia felt a chill run through her, vaguely recalling the bits and pieces of her previous life with Lu Chen.

That taciturn young man would never let her spend a single cent; he would transfer money punctually every birthday, and even the day after she casually mentioned liking a certain handbag, that bag would appear on her bedside table.

And now... she looked at this big boy who had once made her heart flutter, and suddenly felt terrifyingly unfamiliar.

Seeing her lost in thought, Zhou Yu’an’s eyes darkened, and he abruptly pushed her onto the bed: ”Who are you thinking about? Huh?”

”No... no...” Lin Xia shook her head frantically, but he pinched her chin.

”You better not be.” Zhou Yu’an leaned in and whispered in her ear, his hot breath making her shiver, ”Tomorrow, come with me to buy the watch, be good.”

Only after he finally left the room did Lin Xia dare to let her tears fall.

She curled up on the bed, staring blankly at the ceiling.

They had only been together for such a short time, and Zhou Yu’an was already like this; what would it escalate to in the future? She didn’t dare to imagine.

At this moment, she realized that she might have just escaped from Lu Chen’s abyss, only to jump into another, more terrifying trap.

Meanwhile, in the training room at the other end of the base, Wen Ci was being cornered by Lu Chen in an e-sports chair.

”Lu Chen?” She stammered, looking up at him, this angle allowing her to see his sharp jawline and slightly bobbing Adam’s apple.

Lu Chen didn’t speak, he just propped one hand on the back of the chair, and with the other, he deftly turned on the computer and logged into the game.

His faint minty scent completely enveloped her, and Wen Ci felt her heartbeat was so loud the entire room could hear it.

”Watch closely.” He suddenly spoke, his deep voice brushing past her ear.

His slender fingers danced across the keyboard; on the screen, the assassin moved like a phantom among the enemy forces, continuously reaping five kills amidst the flashing blades and shadows.

”Oh my god!” Wen Ci couldn’t help but exclaim, ”This is too cool!”

She didn’t notice the fleeting curve on Lu Chen’s lips.

The next second, the young man suddenly pushed the mouse in front of her: ”You play.”

”Ah? I can’t, I don’t even recognize all the skills...” Wen Ci waved her hands in a panic, but he directly grabbed her wrist.

”I’ll teach you.” Lu Chen’s voice was a few degrees lower than usual.

He stood behind her, his chest almost touching her back, his hands covering hers, guiding her fingers across the keyboard.

Wen Ci could clearly feel the warmth of his chest and his strong heartbeat.

”Q is stealth, E is dash...” He explained patiently, his hot breath fanning her ear, causing a shiver.

”Lu Chen...” She called him softly, her voice unbelievably gentle.

”Mm.” His response was almost a whisper, carrying an indescribable tenderness.

Wen Ci gathered her courage: ”Why are you... so... to me...?” She couldn’t describe it, but even though she didn’t finish her sentence, Lu Chen already understood what she meant.

Lu Chen’s movements suddenly paused. After a moment of silence, he released her hand and turned to walk towards the floor-to-ceiling window.

In the night, his back looked particularly lonely.

Wen Ci lowered her head in disappointment, thinking he wouldn’t answer. Just then, she heard his deep, hoarse voice:

”Because it’s you.”

She suddenly looked up and saw Lu Chen had already turned around.

The moonlight outlined his tall silhouette, and those eyes, usually so indifferent, were now filled with an emotion she couldn’t comprehend.

”It can only be you.” He said, enunciating each word, each one like a hammer striking her heart.

Wen Ci’s heart was practically leaping out of her chest.
