Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure

Following the elite guards, we soon started heading deeper into this place.

As for how we knew that we were heading deeper, it was because there was this downwards slope to this tunnel. This showed that we were heading deeper and deeper into the ground.

Wherever that relic was being held, it was clear that it was in a place that was considered to be the very core of this place.

Though it certainly was awkward to move in silence like this.

Since meeting the god’s messenger, Klein and the royal guards had been silent.

It seemed that they had suspected the same thing and had been preparing just in case something happened. So they had their hands on their weapons the entire time as if they were ready to fight if there was a fight that broke out.

But the elite guards didn’t do anything other than lead us forward.

I understood their suspicions since there were too many things that seemed off about this place.

Though I still hadn’t found the biggest thing that mattered yet.

At the very least, there wasn’t a single trace of the corruption energy that was found in this place.

It actually took us a long time to reach the place that Queenie had mentioned.

I knew that this was the place since I could feel the divine energy that was coming from in front of me. The only thing that could have released this kind of steady divine energy was a relic.

Though I couldn’t help being surprised by how much divine energy was actually coming from in front of me.

This amount of divine energy was not normal.

This went to show just what kind of special relic this was.

However, I couldn’t stop the strange feeling from filling me since I knew what the relic was. For a god to put this much divine energy into creating this kind of relic for one of their messengers...

This showed just how much Insectum, the God of Insects valued Queenie.

I just didn’t understand why...

Once we reached the room that the relic was in, the elite guards suddenly stopped and turned to look at Klein and the royal guards. The way that they looked at them was as if they were saying that they couldn’t go any further than this.

Klein and the royal guards naturally couldn’t accept this since it was their job to make sure that I was safe.

It would be hard to do that if they were separated from me.

So that was why it seemed like they were planning to barge in even if it meant that they had to fight with the elite guards.

But I stopped them since I didn’t want this to happen.

Klein looked at me with a look that seemed to be advising me against this, but I just looked back at him with a look that said, ”Trust me.”

So in the end, they waited there for me to come back.

The elite guards also didn’t seem to move to come in with me. It seemed like they were planning on staying here to watch over Klein and the royal guards.

This naturally seemed suspicious and made Klein and the royal guards more wary, but I just looked at them once more to calm them down.

I didn’t know why they wanted me to go in alone, but I was already ready to fight if things went wrong.

But they didn’t go wrong in the end.

”I wanted to have a private conversation with you. I’m sorry if it made you worried, but that messenger of mine really isn’t the reliable sort.”

I was surprised when I found that the voice was coming from a small spider that was on the pedestal. The other thing that was on the pedestal was what seemed to be a bracelet, but I knew that this was no ordinary bracelet since I could sense the divine energy coming from it.

Though before paying attention to this bracelet, I was more curious about this spider.

It wasn’t just any normal spider since it was able to talk, but I knew that this voice didn’t come from the spider itself. This spider was nothing more than an ordinary spider that didn’t possess any special powers or special intelligence.

From the divine energy that came from the spider, I could tell that it was possessed by something.

”This thing is the real messenger and the one that I met previously is a fake?” I asked with a deep frown.

”No, no, Queenie is my messenger...” There was a strange tone that was in this voice when it spoke and after a long pause, it finally said with a sigh, ”It’s just that she’s a bit special...She’s quite the lazy type.”

I couldn’t help looking at the spider with a strange look when I heard this, but there was something that I had to ask, ”How are you even possessing this spider right now? If you can just talk directly through normal insects, is there a reason that you need a messenger like her?”

”It’s special in my case since I’m the God of Insects. I’m sure that you’ve already met the God of Tides before and saw their special circumstances. I have similar circumstances, but my conditions are a bit different.”

I still couldn’t help looking at the spider with a strange look.

Seeing this, the spider explained, ”Since Queenie is my messenger, she’s naturally been granted power by me. This power allows her to create even more bugs and take control of them. But since they were created with the power that I gave her, that meant that they are a part of that power. Since they are part of the power that I gave her, that means that I can take control of any of the bugs that she created. It’s just that I can’t really stay long since they aren’t proper vessels. If I want to remain for a long time, I have to descend using her body since she’s the best vessel for me.”
