Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure

However, that didn’t mean that I was planning on handing Dorothy over and letting them do whatever they wanted with her.

It wasn’t just the fact that I had taken her as my adopted daughter.

It was what Nox had told me about her.

Nox was a god and even if they weren’t an important god, they were still a god that possessed powers beyond normal humans.

If Nox said that Dorothy would be important in the future, I was inclined to believe this.

That was why until the time came that there was no other choice, I wouldn’t give up on her that easily.

”I don’t think that this is the case.”

As soon as I said this, all of the representatives from the racial alliance turned to look at me. In fact, it even looked like most of them had been waiting for me to say something on this matter.

After all, I was the one that everyone turned to when it came to matters like this.

So in the end, I said, ”If they were able to do anything, they would have done it already. None of us had any idea of what they were planning to do, so they would have been able to get away with it if they really wanted to do that.”

All of the representatives revealed awkward looks when they heard this.

They knew that I was right, but at the same time...they knew that when it came to dealing with the forces of Destruction, they just couldn’t compare to what I could do.

That was why they deferred to me when it came to matters like this in the first place.

However, there was still the fact that the forces of Destruction could break through our defenses whenever they wanted as demonstrated by War.

At the same time, it was clear that they were planning on attacking us to get to Dorothy.

That was why they left the mark on her in the first place.

Instead of dealing with the forces of Destruction when we weren’t ready, it really was much easier for the racial alliance if we just took care of Dorothy now.

When it came to taking care of Dorothy, that naturally meant...

Well, Dorothy would be no longer around if the racial alliance could have their way and that was not something that I was willing to accept.

”For now, they won’t be able to do anything or else they would have done it already, this is something that they even admitted. That’s why there’s no need for us to panic right now.”

The representatives of the racial alliance weren’t convinced with just this.

They all looked at me as if they were expecting something more from me.

They all looked at me as if they were waiting to hear what it was that made me so determined to protect Dorothy.

After all, I had never told them what Nox told me.

With a sigh, I said, ”She will play an important role in the future, so she’s more useful to us than dangerous right now.”

Though I said this, there were still looks of doubt on the faces of the representatives.

I didn’t blame them since what I said really wasn’t convincing at all.

I wasn’t giving them any actual concrete information and was just asking them to trust me on this matter. But when this matter was something that concerned the fate of the entire world...

For people that represented their countries, they just simply couldn’t trust me like that.

At the same time, they had people that they wanted to protect.

”I know that it is hard for all of you to simply trust me on this, but this is something that will determine the tide of the battle in the future. That’s why it’s not something that I can tell you right now since it will put our plans in danger if I do.”

This time, I said it in the firmest voice that I could give.

When I put it like this, that was when there were people that came to support me.

”The holy son is right. There are things that we can’t see right now and we can’t be rash in this decision. If we make a mistake, then all of us will suffer the consequences when the time comes.”

Of course the Holy Empire was the first to support me.

That was because the way that I had said this inferred that this was knowledge that was passed down to me by the gods, which was why I couldn’t reveal it. If it was something that was related to the gods, they wouldn’t hesitate to back me.

That was just how it was when it came to a nation of fanatical worshippers of the divine.

As for the rest...

”Fine, we’ll trust you for now.”

Though they didn’t trust me like the Holy Empire did, they still listened to me in the end and went along with what I was saying.

Though that was mainly because of the relationship that I had with them.

The ones that were still hesitating were those smaller countries that I didn’t have any connection to at all.

It was just that when all of the bigger nations went along with me, there really wasn’t much that these smaller countries could say.

The only thing that they could do was go along with the decision of the majority since they couldn’t risk breaking apart the racial alliance. Especially since they were smaller countries that depended on the racial alliance in the first place.

However, it was clear that they weren’t going to sit around and do nothing.

It was clear that they were planning on doing something to make sure that their voices would be heard, whether that was banding together or something else.

It was just that I couldn’t do anything about them either.

Even if they were smaller countries, they were still part of the racial alliance.

If we were to fight between us, then it would be bad for the racial alliance.

But for the first time, there was a tension never before felt that came over the racial alliance.
