Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure

The more that I watched this, the more worried I became.

It really seemed like it would only be a matter of time before Dorothy would lose herself to the corruption energy.

It really seemed like she was about to join their side with the power that she possessed...

But the ones that should have been worried the most didn’t seem to be worried at all.

It seemed like both Lupus and Zeldir regarded this as something that was normal for Dorothy.

That was why I was hesitant about saying anything...

Once she had finished absorbing all of the corruption energy that her corruption energy monsters offered her, it seemed like there was nothing that changed with Dorothy.

It seemed like she was still the same child as before...

But I still had to scold her for doing something that was dangerous like this.

”I’m sorry. I just wanted to help.” Dorothy said while lowering her head as if she was genuinely reflecting.

I looked at Max and he gave the same expression as before, showing that there was nothing strange about Dorothy.

Since that was the case, there really wasn’t anything that I could say about this.

So we moved to the next area with the corruption energy monsters.

This time, I made sure to keep my eyes on Dorothy so that she wouldn’t be able to do anything rash. Only it didn’t seem like she wanted to have anything to do with the corruption energy monsters.

Even though they were right in front of her, it didn’t seem like she lost control of herself and wanted to absorb them for their corruption energy.

At the very least, it seemed like she was still able to control her urges.

At least it didn’t seem like she was losing herself to this.

”Go on, you can go and take care of them.” I said to Max all of a sudden.

Max was caught off guard when he heard this, but then his eyes lit up.

”Are you sure about this? You’re not going to interfere?” He quickly asked.

I shook my head and said, ”No, as long as you’re not in danger, I won’t do anything.”

”Who do you think you’re talking to? I’ve already studied the corruption energy and I know how to deal with it. Do you really think that I’ll have trouble taking care of it?” He said with a snort.

I didn’t doubt this since I had seen the net that he had created for Dorothy.

I just hadn’t wanted him approaching the corruption energy monsters since he was an important asset.

But now I realized that it was better for him to have first hand experience when it came to the corruption energy monsters. After all, we would be counting on him in the future to take care of them as well.

So it was better that he gained this experience in a place that was safe.

Instead of me watching over him, I secretly said to Zeldir and Lupus, ”Watch over him and make sure that he doesn’t hurt himself.”

The two of them agreed to this quickly since I was the one that asked them.

After they agreed, I turned my attention to Dorothy.

Though I had already seen some things that should have assured me, I still couldn’t help worrying that there was some kind of change that came over her that she wouldn’t be able to control.

That was why I wanted to make sure that nothing happened to her.

Max was indeed better than what I had expected from him since he had learned quite a bit about the corruption energy from his studies of it.

He took out things that helped him deflect the attacks of the corruption energy monsters that came at him, things that seemed to have an effect on the corruption energy that made up their bodies.

It seemed like even the corruption energy monsters were caught off guard when this happened.

After all, it wasn’t as if they knew about these things before facing Max.

The problem was that he didn’t have anything to finish the fight.

He had the divine energy samples that I had left with him, but that alone wasn’t strong enough to take down these corruption energy monsters. So no matter how he tried to land the finishing blow, he was never able to do so.

He was able to weaken them, but it seemed like they were able to recover in the end.

”Go and save him.” I said to Lupus and Zeldir after a while.

It really seemed like it was only a matter of time before he would run out of stamina and would be swarmed by the corruption energy monsters. However, I had to stop that from happening since I still needed Max for other things.

Though in the end, it was only Lupus who went forward to save him.

Zeldir just remained there as if he was content with just watching.

However, I could see that this wasn’t the case.

It seemed like there was something different about him.

”It’s you, isn’t it?” I suddenly asked.

Zeldir turned to look at me with a strange look before giving a nod.

The moment that he did this, I knew that this wasn’t Zeldir anymore.

The moment that he did this, I knew that there was someone else who was possessing Zeldir’s body and it wasn’t human.

It was the God of Night, Nox.

While I wasn’t that surprised to see Nox possessing Zeldir like this since he was their messenger, I was surprised that they would do this all of a sudden. It didn’t seem like something that they would do for no reason, so there had to be a reason for Nox to possess Zeldir like this.

”I know what you are thinking about this child, but it isn’t something that you have to worry about. There’s something that you have to learn about them, but it isn’t the right time yet.”
