Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure

”Your majesty, is there a problem?”

The royal guards arrived, but they weren’t as relaxed as one might think.

The moment that they arrived, they all had their guards up as if they were ready for a fight.

After all, they didn’t think that I would be calling them for something as simple as tasting dishes. They had assumed that I had called for them because I was in some kind of trouble.

That was why they were all taken aback when I said, ”I just called you here to taste some dishes for me.”

Klein was the one that stepped forward first in the end as he said, ”I’ll do the poison testing for you, your majesty.”

I couldn’t help shaking my head when I heard this before saying, ”There’s no need for you to do anything like that. I just wanted you to have a taste of these dishes that were made during the cooking tournament.”

The royal guards were all caught off guard again when they heard this.

It was only now that they noticed that there was something strange about the dishes that I mentioned.

It was only now that they realized that the dishes that were here were glowing.

Though they were elite guards of the royal family, this wasn’t what they were looking for at first since their first priority was to see if there was anything that could have posed a threat to me.

But now that they had calmed down, it was pretty hard to miss a dish that was glowing.

Looking at this dish, they seemed like they wanted to know more about it and figure out what it was. However, it didn’t take long for them to realize that there was something different about this dish.

After all, they had spent enough time by my side that they were able to recognize the divine energy that was around it.

So that was why they couldn’t help being confused why this was the case.

I just raised my hand and gathered the divine energy flames that I had put in the magic stoves.

It didn’t take long for the royal guards to realize what had happened, but there were questioning looks on their faces. It was clear that all of them wanted to know if this really was how it worked.

But it wasn’t as if I could give them an explanation since I had no idea how this worked either.

It could be said that I had gambled with the divine energy flame when it came to creating these dishes.

So asking me to explain how these dishes were made...

Well that would be impossible since this was something that had been created with luck and the talent of others. Though this did confirm one thing, which was that divine energy flames could be used to create things and imbue divine energy onto items.

As for how long that divine energy lasted and how strong the divine energy was, that was what I was planning to test right now.

After staring at the glowing food for a while, Klein finally stepped forward.

Though when he did, there was still a hesitant look that was on his face as if he wasn’t certain of what he was doing.

In the end, he took the spoon that was placed on the side and took a bit of the glowing dish in front of him.

The moment that he did, a dazed look appeared on his face before he suddenly said, ”This is delicious.”

There were no extra words that were used, he just described what he honestly felt.

After all, there was nothing that a soldier like Klein could say that would exaggerate this.

So in the end, he just gave his honest opinion on this dish.

Though that wasn’t what I was looking for in the first place.

When they heard Klein say this, it seemed like the other royal guards were interested in this dish as well. However, I raised my hand to stop them before they could actually approach the dish and take a bite.

The royal guards looked at me as if they were wondering if I was teasing them, but I didn’t care about this as I was focused on Klein.

After a while, Klein asked, ”What is it?”

”Do you feel anything different?” I asked right away.

Klein had a confused look on his face when he heard this before looking down at his hands as if he was trying to figure out what I was talking about. Though it didn’t seem like he was able to figure it out as he just stared blankly at his hands.

So in the end, I said, ”Bring out your weapon and swing it a few times.”

Klein was confused why I said this, but he still followed my orders and brought it out.

The moment that he swung his sword, my expression changed.

The royal guards around me still had confused looks since they couldn’t sense what I was sensing, but I knew that I hadn’t made a mistake. The moment that the sword swung down, I could sense the flow of energy.

Though I couldn’t blame them since they didn’t have the same sharp senses for this as me.

What I felt the moment that Klein swung the sword down was the divine energy flowing into his sword.

This was the divine energy that had been in his body after he had taken a bite of the food.

This divine energy seemed to wrap around the sword and created a coating around it that seemed to be powering up the sword.

Seeing this, I knew that my guess had been right.

Those that cooked with divine energy would be able to create this one time use buff that would allow those that ate it to utilize divine energy.

So if there were more of these dishes that were created...

Well, it would certainly be a large help to the racial alliance’s fight against the forces of Destruction.

But before that, there were more questions that had to be asked.
