Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure

”How many different transport arrays have you found during this time?”

When I asked this question, the looks on the faces of everyone gathered here didn’t look good.

Just from this, I could tell that it must have been much higher than we had expected.

I had also expected this to happen, but there was something that exceeded my expectations in the end.

It was that the sheer amount of portals that had been discovered also surpassed my expectations even when I had already raised them in the first place. It seemed like there was just a massive amount of these portal arrays that were all over the place.

”Have all of these been confirmed?”

”Yes, we’ve made sure to double check them and we’ve found that they are all functioning.”

This certainly wasn’t what I wanted to hear, but it wasn’t as if I would doubt the professionalism of these people. After all, it was a gathering of the best of the best that was in this place.

It would be hard for them to make this kind of mistake in the first place.

”It seems like the forces of Destruction have really been busy.”

No one responded to this, but the looks on their faces were more than enough to show what they were thinking.

Everyone agreed with me on this, but that wasn’t the only thing that they were thinking.

They were more worried that the forces of Destruction had been gathering their power for a long time.

Until just recently, they hadn’t even been aware of the forces of Destruction.

They had thought that the forces of Destruction had only recently formed and had been gathering their power slowly. That was why they thought that this racial alliance would be enough to take down the forces of Destruction.

But seeing just how much the forces of Destruction had prepared, they couldn’t help feeling worried.

It really seemed like the forces of Destruction were far more prepared than the racial alliance.

While everyone was silent, there was someone that suddenly broke the silence.

”They’re not all separate.”

When he said this, everyone immediately turned to look at him.

Old Man Lancelot was still looking at the map that was on the table and it seemed like he was looking for something specific.

After a while, he pointed at a few of the marks on the map and said, ”These are connected to a single outpost.”

When they heard this, everyone quickly narrowed their eyes to look at Old Man Lancelot as if they were trying to see through him. It was just that Old Man Lancelot didn’t pay any attention to the people looking at him.

For him, the only thing that he saw was the map in front of him.

”Are you sure about this?” Seeing the way that everyone reacted, I knew what they were thinking. That was why I took the lead in asking this question.

It was only when I asked this that Old Man Lancelot looked up and said, ”I’ve been trapped by them for some time now, so there were things that I’ve picked up from their conversations. This is my first time seeing it on a map like this, but I can tell that this is indeed the case from what I’ve heard.”

There was still doubt on the faces of the others at this meeting.

After a while, one of them suddenly asked, ”Why didn’t you bring this up sooner?”

The tone of voice that he had as he asked this made it very clear what he was really trying to say.

No one said anything as they waited for Old Man Lancelot to answer, which showed that there were others that had been thinking the same thing.

But Old Man Lancelot didn’t seem like he was bothered by this question.

Instead, he just replied with a shrug, ”I’ve been trapped for so long that I’ve heard many things. It’s not as if I know what most of them mean without actually seeing something to connect it with. So even if I have this knowledge, it’s not as if I know how to organize it.”

There were still some looks of doubt that were cast in his direction, but there was more sympathy in their eyes than doubt.

I also had a different look in my eyes.

It was regret over the mistake that I had made.

I knew that Old Man Lancelot had heard a lot of information from the forces of Destruction because he had been trapped for a long time. However, I realized now that I had been holding back too much when it came to asking him questions.

It was out of fear that I would be hurting him with my questions that I had held back in my questioning. But now I realized that if I had asked him these questions sooner, then I would have been able to figure out many different things.

It seemed that I had to take some time to ask Old Man Lancelot some questions…

But before that, we had to figure out what to do about these portal arrays that we had found.

”Other than this one, do you know if there are any others that are connected?”

Old Man Lancelot didn’t answer right away as he looked down at the map once more.

After a while, he pointed at a few more and said, ”These ones are connected.”

He continued on to point out several other marks and said, ”All of these are connected.”

With Old Man Lancelot pointing them out, we were able to figure out that there were several others that were like this.

It didn’t mean that all of the portal arrays that were discovered meant that there was an outpost behind it.

In that case…

”Alright, it seems like we’ve narrowed it down a bit. If it’s like this, it seems doable with the forces that we have. Let’s talk about who will go where and with who as support.”
