Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure

”Well, do you have anything to say about this?” I asked the Apostle of Destruction that we sealed, but it remained silent in the end.

I already knew that the Apostle of Destruction wouldn’t have anything to say in response, but I could tell certain things even though the Apostle of Destruction didn’t say anything.

After all, there were reactions that came from the Apostle of Destruction when I said this.

Especially to the word ’outpost’.

It seemed like that word was quite important that the Apostle of Destruction would react to it like this.

Though the meaning behind it...

At least this meant that we were on the right track and it was only a matter of finding out why this word was so important to them. For that, we already had an idea of where to start asking.

Just like these adventurers said, the ones that were being treated were those that had been captured for a long time. That meant that they certainly had more information for us than the others.

They had been here for a while, so they must have heard quite a few things from the corruption energy monsters.

Well, most likely not the corruption energy monsters since they couldn’t speak in the first place. They would have heard something from the Apostle of Destruction and other things that it met.

So that would be somewhere to start.

”The one that you want to talk to is the old man.”

That was the only thing that we heard when we asked those that recovered.

It seemed like all of them recognized the old man as the one that knew the most among them.

As for who this old man was, he was the prisoner that had sustained the most corruption out of all the prisoners that had been in the cell. That was why it took the longest to help him recover.

Though it was amazing that he was even able to resist the effects of the corruption energy after all this time.

The corruption energy had clearly entered deep into his body, but he had resisted it with just his sheer willpower.

No, it wasn’t just his sheer willpower alone.

There was mana that was also flowing inside of his body which showed that he had trained in using mana to strengthen himself. That meant that this old man was most likely a powerful knight in the past.

But there was no sign of this now as it seemed like the old man was completely weakened by the corruption energy.

It almost seemed like he would collapse with a single poke with how weak he was now.

Since it was urgent, I stepped up in the end.

I might not have done so because he was in a fragile state, but I could tell that with his willpower and his body, he would be able to take it.

”This will be a bit hard on you, but it will take care of the corruption energy that has corroded your body.” I didn’t really expect a response from the old man since he hadn’t said anything during this time, but he actually nodded in agreement to my surprise.

This made me even more confident that this would work.

So without hesitation, I pressed the button on the skin of the old man.

The moment that the button made contact with the old man, there was no delay as ice spread over his body. It didn’t take long for the old man to be completely encased in this ice from head to toe.

As the ice surrounded him, there was something that was being purified from inside of his body. This was the corruption energy that was being forced out by the divine energy ice.

The other prisoners seemed worried when they saw me encase him in ice like this, but the rest of my group kept them back since they knew what I was doing.

However, I did pay attention to this fact.

It seemed that this old man was quite well loved by the rest of the prisoners, it seemed that this old man had quite the reputation among them.

It made me want to help him even more.

After encasing him in the ice for a minute, I released the ice that was around him.

It wasn’t that he was done being purified, but I couldn’t just leave him in the ice since he wouldn’t be able to breathe.

But the moment that I released the ice, the old man opened his eyes and asked, ”Why did you stop?”

I couldn’t help revealing a strange look as I looked at him before saying, ”Well, you would have died from being deprived of oxygen if I didn’t stop.”

”Ha, ha, ha, I’m not that weak. You can keep going longer this time, I have no problem holding my breath.” He said with a laugh that didn’t seem to suit the weak appearance that he had.

But I could also see that his face wasn’t even close to being red from being deprived of oxygen.

It seemed that this old man wasn’t just keeping up appearance by acting tough, it seemed like he was telling the truth about how long he could hold up.

When I saw this, I couldn’t help being more and more curious about who this old man really was. With this kind of physique and determination, it was clear that this wasn’t an ordinary old man.

”Alright, I’ll keep going. I hope that you won’t be in too bad of a shape after this is over since there are still some things that I have to talk to you about.”

”Do your worst.” The old man said with a confident smile.

Seeing this, I just gave a nod before pressing the button down on the old man once more.

Once again, the ice formed a layer around the old man and completely encased him.

However, I didn’t release it even after a minute had passed as I waited for all of the corruption energy to be purified.

It didn’t seem like the old man was bothered for a single second about being trapped in the ice like this.

”Just who is this old man?”
