Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure

To get helpers that would be able to deal with the forces of Destruction meant getting weapons that could deal with the forces of Destruction.

The only place that we could get that was from the gods.

That was why my next destination was once again the Holy Empire.

If I was just talking to the gods to report this matter, then it could have been done in any of the churches that were along the way. However, it was different asking for a weapon to fight the forces of Destruction.

It was only in this place that was filled with divine energy, the place where the connection with the gods was the closest that I could ask for this weapon.

After all, it had to be a divine relic to deal with the forces of Destruction.

Though the person that I was getting this for didn’t seem ready yet.

He didn’t even seem to understand why we were bringing him along until I lied to him about bringing him there for his treatment.

But when we arrived in the Holy Empire, that was when I told him the truth along with asking him one important question.

”Do you want to be a knight again?”

Old Man Lancelot was taken aback when he heard this before he revealed a bitter smile while saying, ”Your majesty, are you messing with me?”

When he saw that I had a serious look on my face, his smile became even more bitter as he said, ”With this body, how could I be a knight again?”

I couldn’t help shaking my head when I heard this.

After all, we had already checked his body and had already made sure that he was in perfect shape.

In fact, they were shocked by how well toned Old Man Lancelot’s body was.

It was better than most of the knights that currently served in the racial alliance.

Even though he was clearly older than the other knights, he was still in better shape than most of them.

So there was no doubt that he would still be able to fight on the front line if he wanted to.

The only thing that was holding him back was his mentality that he wasn’t able to face the things that we were facing. This was a form of PTSD that he suffered after being trapped by the forces of Destruction for so long.

But I was going to help him get over it.

Someone with his power couldn’t just be left on the sidelines.

Someone like him had to be on the frontlines with the rest of us.

”What if I said that I can give you the same power as me so you can take revenge against them.”

When revenge was brought up, Old Man Lancelot couldn’t help looking tempted.

After all, it wasn’t just him alone that had been caught by the forces of Destruction for so long. He had been held in that prison with others, but they had all died before him because they couldn’t hold on like he could.

They had all died from being corrupted by the abundant corruption energy that filled that place.

But that didn’t mean that Old Man Lancelot forgot about any of them.

He was silent for a bit before suddenly saying, ”You promise that I’ll be able to take revenge on them.”

It wasn’t just me, the others that were watching all of this with concerned looks on their faces.

After all, it seemed like his voice was a bit too filled with hatred that we couldn’t help being concerned.

Still, I said, ”I can’t say that you’ll take revenge on the ones that caused you this pain, but you can stop anyone else from feeling the same pain as you in the future.”

Revenge was a dicey topic, so I chose to move away from it.

But it seemed like he wasn’t done yet as he said, ”Still, it would be indirect revenge, right?”

With a sigh, I said, ”Yes, it would be indirect revenge since you would be destroying the forces of Destruction that were responsible for all of this.”

”As long as that’s the case, I’ll fight.” He said in a determined voice that made us a bit more worried.

In the end, I turned to the popes and said, ”Help me arrange a check up for him. I want to make sure that he’s in optimal condition before we do this.”

The popes understood what I was asking them to do, so they took Old Man Lancelot away.

While they would be checking up his body, they would also be providing some mental care for him. After all, they just couldn’t feel assured letting him go at the forces of Destruction like this.

I had faith that they would be able to convince him to let go of his hatred, or at least not pursue it that deeply. After all, they were men of religion and relied on things like this to gain followers.

They would know how to talk to Old Man Lancelot.

Instead, I went into the main chapel alone and prepared on how to talk to the gods.

It wasn’t as if it was a small thing that I was asking for, it was considered quite a big thing to ask the gods for divine relics like this. I didn’t expect them to hand these divine relics that easily.

Only I was surprised by...

”Alright, if that’s what you want, then we can help you.”

I had to look at the gods with a shocked look on my face, almost as if I couldn’t process their words after I heard this.

After all, what they were saying was just too far from what I was expecting.

There was even a part of me that was wondering if I had wandered into the wrong place and were talking to the wrong people.

It didn’t seem like gods would hand over divine relics that easily.
