Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure

When they heard this, they didn’t actually say anything in response.

Instead, the ones that were trying to force me to share my power were looking at the Mark of God that was on my hand with a strange look.

They naturally knew what the Mark of God was since they had already seen it multiple times already. At the same time, they had already seen the demonstration that I had given them with the relics.

They knew that only with the Mark of God could one hold the relics.

But it didn’t seem like they were connecting this with the power that I had demonstrated.

I didn’t blame them since I could guess what they were thinking.

It was all because I had given that power to Joan.

Even if Joan had her own Mark of God, they knew that she wouldn’t be strong enough to face Famine, one of the Four Omens on her own. It was only when she received outside power that would allow her to face Famine.

At the same time, they knew that I was the source of that outside power and that outside power was the one that they were aiming for.

So they kept looking at me with the same looks on their faces, as they waited for me to say something.

I just calmly looked back at them and said, ”It’s power that’s like the Mark of God, but it can be shared with others...” As they seemed like they were going to say something to cut me off, I suddenly moved my hand to touch King Kashou who was beside me.

Once I did, there was a white light that surrounded him that made their eyes light up even more.

When King Kashou saw that he was covered in this white light, he couldn’t help standing up and testing his body. He wanted to see just what kind of effect this white light had on him since he knew that I wouldn’t do this for no reason.

But after a while, there was a trace of disappointment that was on his face.

At the same time, there were disappointed looks that came from all of the people that had been hoping to obtain this power from me.

After all, the performance of this white light was much worse than they had expected.

Before they could say anything, I said, ”It’s clear that this kind of buff only works on those that have a connection to divine energy. If one doesn’t have a connection to divine energy, then it won’t be a strong buff. At the same time, this white light only allows for the purification of corruption energy, so it’s useless against other things.”

They looked even more disappointed when they heard this, but it seemed like the representative from the Democratic Union still had something to say.

Only before he could say what he wanted to say, I suddenly brought my hand away from King Kashou.

When I did, the white light that had been around him disappeared without a trace.

After making this white light disappear, I said, ”As you can see, this kind of power can only be used on others when they are physically near the one that possesses it. If they aren’t in contact, then they won’t be able to share the power.”

The representative from the Democratic Union looked like he was trying to think of something to refute this, but then it seemed like he was frustrated because he couldn’t think of anything.

Everything that they had seen pointed to this being the case, so there wasn’t anything that they could say to refute this.

As such, it really didn’t seem like there was anything else that they could complain about.

But since they were bringing up this kind of complaint, it wasn’t as if I was going to let them off that easily.

”Since this power can only be transferred physically like this, the only thing that would work is if I followed all of you around, isn’t it? But you should know how busy I am as the King of the Kite Kingdom and doing all these things for the racial alliance. So will you insist that I stay with all of you?” I said with a smile, but it didn’t seem like a smile to these people.

The representative from the Democratic Union gritted his teeth a bit when he heard this since he knew that I was using these words to put the pressure back on him.

The rest of the representatives from the different races and even the three human empires narrowed their eyes to look at him.

It was one thing for him to make a complaint when he had some facts backing him, but when they had all been refuted like this?

He also couldn’t come up with any facts since he had no idea what this power was or even what divine energy was. The fact that they had so little information in the first place was the reason why they wanted to gain this power for themselves.

But now...

”I understand.” The representative from the Democratic Union said this, but it was clear by the look in his eyes that he didn’t actually mean it. It was clear that there was a part of him that still wanted to find a way to gain this power for himself.

In that case...

”I think that it would be physically impossible to separate this power from me in the first place unless...” Narrowing my eyes to look at the representative from the Democratic Union, I said, ”You want to experiment on me to see if this is possible.”

As soon as this was said, there was even more pressure that was put on the Democratic Union.

The representative from the Democratic Union also immediately lowered his head and said, ”Your majesty, we would never think of something like that. We were just thinking for the benefit of the entire racial alliance.”

I didn’t say anything else in response since this was enough pressure.

It wasn’t worth it to push him into a corner after all.

Just like that, this conference ended awkwardly.
