Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure

Once we came to this discovery, there wasn’t anything else that was said.

At the same time, it didn’t seem like there was anything else to discover in this place.

I looked around carefully at the caves, but there was no reaction that came from the other than from the bone fragments.

This place might have been where the orbs containing corruption energy came from, but those orbs had already been moved from this place. There wasn’t a single trace of those orbs left in this place, so there was nothing left for me to do here.

So there was nothing left for us to do and we returned back to the castle.

Along the way, Elizabeth didn’t seem to have anything to say.

There was a look of deep thought that was on her face, but also a trace of sadness.

Making this discovery about her father must have been a shock for her, only there wasn’t really anything that I could say to her. It wasn’t as if I was close enough to her to actually comfort her on this matter.

At the same time, I was the one that had discovered this fact about her father.

It would be hard for me to actually comfort her.

So we headed back to the castle in silence.

…

”Is there anything that you want to know about the mines?”

”Your majesty Zwein, if there’s anything that you want to know, just let me know. I’m the one that has been in charge of investigating the mines during this time.”

”In charge? You’ve been doing nothing but sitting on your butt while everyone else has been doing the work. If you want to know anything, you should just follow me.”

The demons that were around me were saying all of these things as we walked around the mine.

After the banquet yesterday, I went to the mine with them.

Though with the way that they surrounded me, it seemed like they wanted to hide some things.

They were bringing me to the main entrance of the mine and showing me certain things that they had already found. It seemed that they wanted to keep me from the things that they had already gone through and the smaller entrances.

This was already expected by me, which was why I had gone into the mine in secret last night.

I knew that there would be all kinds of problems if I were to come during the day since there were many different demons with different goals, so there was no doubt that they would get in my way.

But since I had already found what I was looking for, it wasn’t as if I cared if they allowed me to see what I wanted to see.

Instead, I just gave a simple nod to what they said and followed them around as they guided me around the mine. Whatever they wanted to show me, that was what I looked at.

I didn’t say anything about looking at the rest of the mines.

I could see the looks on their faces, but I didn’t say anything as I continued following them.

When it was over, I said, ”I don’t think that we’ll be able to find anything here for a while. I trust that you will continue looking for the different clues that will help us track down the missing relic and orbs, right?”

The demons were even more surprised to hear this, but then there were wide smiles that appeared on their faces.

All of them promised that they would keep up the investigation and would pass me any information that they found.

Then after that, they started talking to me about something else.

They were asking me about human society and the different products that humans had introduced to the demon world. It seemed that they were interested in trading with the humans, it was just that they didn’t have a connection.

At the same time, it wasn’t as if the humans would trade that easily with demons.

So they were planning on using me as this connection.

I didn’t mind at all since I had already been planning on using this chance to build a connection with the demons. I couldn’t find anything else about the orbs, so it was time to use this chance for a different opportunity.

Once they finished asking about this, I said, ”I plan on spending some time looking through the different parts of the demon territory. I hope that you’ll be able to guide me around when I visit.’

All of the demons were taken aback when they heard this since they clearly didn’t expect to hear this. It didn’t take long for them to suddenly reveal smiles and promise that they would show me around if I visited the territory of their tribes.

The demons all seemed like they were thinking…

”He’s different than we thought.”

But in reality, I was just using this as a chance to find some things that I wanted to find.

It was clear that they were hiding things, so if I were to find those things…

Especially if they were things that were related to the relic that disappeared from this place.

They were the ones that had access to this mine, so they were the prime suspect.

But it wasn’t as if I could just search their territories, they would never allow a human to do something like this.

So the only thing that I could do was make them think that it was for something else and then sneak around behind their backs. That was the best way to make them let down their guards.

Otherwise, I would have already gone back to the Kite Kingdom.

It was just a matter of time before my fourth child was born and I didn’t want to spend that much time away from my three daughters.

If they wanted to get in my way, then I just had to take matters into my own hands.

Nothing was going to stop me from getting back to my children.
