Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure

The location that the fireballs fell was right where the main army of the four empires were.

This location also had skeletal hands appear out of the ground, but they were more easily dealt with since there were the paladins and the priests of the Holy Empire there.

The holy magic that they used was the perfect counter against the undead that came out of the ground.

Once the holy magic hit them, the undead just weren’t able to remain any longer as they were purified and destroyed.

So it didn’t seem like there were any problems with the undead coming out of the ground.

The problem was that since they were focused on the undead that were coming out of the ground, they didn’t focus on the fireballs that were falling down.

It seemed like the fireballs were going to cause damage to the troops of the four empires, that was until there was this barrier that suddenly appeared around the troops of the four empires. This barrier was a big one that covered the entire human forces, stopping all of the attacks that came at them. It was a large scale barrier that was clearly not a normal barrier with the way that it blocked all the attacks that came.

After blocking all of the attacks, the barrier disappeared without a trace like it had accomplished its task.

This gave the humans a chance to create space from the undead that had suddenly appeared.

Just like this, the ambush of the undead was stopped.

Only this wasn’t worth it.

The barrier that had appeared just now, others might not recognize it, but I recognized it the moment that it appeared.

That was because this was something that I had seen in the game before.

This was a forbidden spell, a spell that couldn’t be cast by normal magicians.

Even high ranking magicians would need to work together to cast a forbidden spell like this, which just went to show just how powerful a forbidden spell was.

The only ones that could cast these spells with ease were one of the sages of the Sorcery Empire.

So that meant that just now, a sage had stepped in to save the human race armies from those fireballs.

But that wasn’t a good trade for the human empires.

There was a reason why there were only nine sages in the Sorcery Empire in the first place.

It wasn’t easy to reach the peak of magic and become a sage, it was something that would require extreme talent and extreme resilience. This was definitely not something that anyone would be able to do.

At the same time, these forbidden spells weren’t that easy to cast.

The reason why it would take many high rank magicians to cast a single forbidden spell together while it only took a single sage was because of the mana cost of the forbidden spell.

Just this forbidden spell alone would take a large amount of mana and while sages had mana pools that far surpassed the mana pools of normal magicians, that didn’t mean that they had infinite mana.

It would take a lot of mana from a sage just to cast this forbidden barrier spell.

That meant that it would be a while for the sage to recover this power...

This in exchange for stopping a few undead was definitely not worth it.

Still, at least the main forces of the four empires had been saved.

After these first few fireballs, there were more fireballs that rained down from the sky.

Only this time, the troops of the four empires were ready for these fireballs.

There were some magicians that shot out spells of equal power that intercepted these fireballs. The reason for that was because once those spells were intercepted, the power from those spells wouldn’t dissipate that easily.

Rather, it fell down on the area that the spell had been flying over.

This mass of mana rained down on the demons that had been standing there, which immediately started to hurt them since it was the residue from the spells.

Since one of the spells was a fireball, it meant that this place was just covered in flames.

These were normal demons that didn’t have the corruption energy, so they were seriously injured by these flames.

As for the other magicians, they created barriers that stopped the fireballs from landing. These barriers made the fireballs completely disappear when they intercepted them, unlike the magic missiles that they used to stop the fireballs.

It was clear that there was a big difference in the grade of magicians on both sides.

But the biggest difference was that one side had living magicians while the other side had undead magicians.

The ones that were firing the fireballs were undead magicians who were in the back of the demon lines. These undead magicians just continued shooting off fireballs like they had been ordered to do this.

They didn’t seem to know anything other than firing fireballs.

That was the problem with undead magicians, they only knew how to follow orders and didn’t learn how to control their mana like the living magicians.

But there was still a problem.

The undead soldiers were completely different from the living soldiers.

Since they were undead, as long as they had enough mana, they would be able to revive themselves. At the same time, when the living soldiers died to the undead soldiers, there was the chance of them being turned into undead as well.

This was even more likely since there were liches that were hiding among the lines of the

demons.

This should have been something expected since the demons had already sent a lich to attack

our Kite Kingdom before.

So it was only natural that they would have more liches at their disposal.

However, it wasn’t as if there wasn’t anything that we could do.

”Tell them to keep back, I’ll handle this.”

I said to Klein to transmit to the generals before pulling out the Orb of the Dead.

Since they were fighting with undead, we would do the same.
