Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure

When the Holy Empire’s airship landed and the board came down, the king and generals of the Poppin Kingdom came forward to greet them.

The way that they stood there seemed like they were respectful to the people from the Holy Empire.

After all, the Holy Empire was one of the four empires of the human race, so its status was much higher than the Poppin Kingdom.

It would be easy for the Holy Empire to wipe out the Poppin Kingdom if they wanted to.

There were two people that came down from the board of the airship who were looking around as if they were looking for someone.

The king of the Poppin Kingdom took advantage of this to come forward to say, ”The thirteenth generation king of the Poppin Kingdom greets the envoys of the Holy Empire. Are you here to provide reinforcements for our Poppin Kingdom.”

One of the two people from the Holy Empire looked at the king of the Poppin Kingdom and gave a simple nod before saying, ”We’re here to help, so there’s nothing to worry about.”

The other one who seemed to be a knight continued looking around.

The king of the Poppin Kingdom didn’t mind this as a smile appeared on his face and he said, ”Great envoys of the Holy Empire, please allow me to represent the people of the Poppin Kingdom in thanking you for this.”

The one that spoke before gave a simple nod and waved his hand as if he didn’t care about this while the other one continued looking around.

The king of the Poppin Kingdom didn’t seem to mind this again, but his expression did change.

He revealed a sombre look as he said, ”I know that you are here to provide support, but it is with a heavy heart that I have to report some bad news.”

This time, the two from the Holy Empire turned their heads to pay attention to him. It seemed that they cared about what he had to say.

The king of the Poppin Kingdom secretly laughed when he heard this before he said, ”The demons have already been wiped out, but the one that did it is refusing to share their method of dealing with the demons with us. We suspect that this kingdom has betrayed the human race and is working with the demons to fool us.”

The two from the Holy Empire knitted their brows when they heard this, but they didn’t say anything.

The king of the Poppin Kingdom didn’t let this momentum slip from his hands, so he continued by saying, ”I ask the envoys from the Holy Empire to deal with them.”

”You mean me?” I asked when his voice fell.

The moment that the king of the Poppin Kingdom heard this, there was a trace of joy that appeared in his eyes before he turned to say, ”What else could it be if not betraying the human race? You’re clearly trying to impede...”

Before he could finish what he wanted to say, the two from the Holy Empire came down and walked over to my side to say, ”Holy Son, this is where you were. What do you need us for?”

The chins of the king and generals of the Poppin Kingdom dropped the moment that they heard this.

I just looked back at him with a smile on my face without saying anything.

Though there was a bit of provocation in my smile as I looked at him.

After a long moment of silence, I said, ”You can help the others clean up the demons, they’re basically done already. Once we’re done here, we’ll move to the next battlefield.”

Chris and Leon nodded in agreement when they heard this, but they didn’t leave right away.

Instead, they looked at the king and generals of the Poppin Kingdom.

When they did, the king and generals of the Poppin Kingdom immediately felt pressure fall on them.

After all, they weren’t deaf.

They had heard how Chris and Leon had addressed Zwein just now.

They had never heard of a Holy Son of the Holy Empire before, but they knew that it would be impossible to fake the airship of the Holy Empire.

That meant that there was no doubt that these people were from the Holy Empire.

As they stood there in a daze, I asked them, ”Now, what were you accusing me of?”

The king and generals of the Poppin Kingdom looked even more sombre when they heard this.

They didn’t want to answer this if they didn’t have to, but the king didn’t have a choice since both Chris and Leon were glaring at him.

With an awkward chuckle, he said, ”Your holiness, I never knew that you were related to the Holy Empire. I apologize for everything that I accused you of, it’s clear that I lost control of myself from the pressure of the situation and falsely accused you. I hope that someone of your status will forgive someone as lowly as me.”

I gave a simple nod before saying, ”In cases like this, I think that the easiest way to settle things would be compensation.” Narrowing my eyes, I asked, ”How much are you willing to compensate me for the damage to my reputation?”

The king of the Poppin Kingdom was shocked by how forward I was being.

His expression changed several times as if he didn’t know what to say, but in the end, he said with an embarrassed look, ”Your holiness, you should know that our country has suffered under the attacks of the demons. We need to care about the citizens of our country and help them rebuild after this war, so...”

He left his words hanging, but the meaning was clear.

”I asked you how much, I don’t need a sob story.” I said in a direct manner again which shocked the king of the Poppin Kingdom.

He looked at Chris and Leon, but it seemed like neither of them were willing to show him any

mercy.

The king of the Poppin Kingdom gritted his teeth and seemed like he was struggling with something for a bit.

In the end, he said in a difficult voice, ”10% of the royal treasury. That’s all that we can afford to compensate you with.”

”50%.” I said without any hesitation.

Shocked looks appeared on the faces of the king and generals of the Poppin Kingdom before the king quickly said, ”Your holiness, how could you propose something like this? Do you not have any compassion for the people of our Poppin Kingdom? They have suffered this great disaster and...”

”You can tell your sob story to someone else, I already told you how much you have to pay. If you don’t, then I’m more than happy to spread through the Holy Empire the way that you tarnished my reputation. When the time comes, I’m sure that they’ll support my kingdom if we want to take revenge for this wrongdoing and I’m sure that you’ll know how we’ll do it.”

The expression on the face of the king became ugly when he heard this.

To kick him while he was down, I added, ”It doesn’t matter if you try to keep what’s yours, it’s just that it won’t matter if you lost it all in the end.”

Finally, the king said, ”Alright, we’ll pay you 50% as compensation.”

I gave a simple nod before saying with a smile, ”I’m glad that we could come to a resolution.”

I knew that doing this would create a grudge, but I needed a scapegoat so that the other

countries wouldn’t think of doing the same thing.

I needed to show the bigger boot, the Holy Empire, just so they would learn.

And I think that the king of the Poppin Kingdom has learned his lesson.
