A-List Actress: Paper Marriage but Pampering Billionaire

Chapter 846: Chapter 846: Stepping on Her to Climb Up?!

Mu Yan recently told Jiang Jingheng about Zhang Qun’s harassing messages that she had been receiving.

It’s the first time she’s gotten a harassing phone call.

Especially when Zhang called her ”Yanyan,” it really made her nauseous.

”Do you think this guy is crazy or what? I’ve blocked so many of his numbers, doesn’t he have any self-awareness?”

Too angry, Mu Yan even started cursing.

”Looks like this pursuer is quite passionate.” Jiang Jingheng chuckled lightly.

He looked ahead, his light brown eyes like icy cold, without the slightest hint of a smile.

Mu Yan couldn’t see his expression and felt a bit annoyed, ”Can you not disgust me? I’m changing my number tomorrow. I’m going to prepare two phones in the future.”

One for work, one personal, so as to avoid encountering such situations again.

”Hearing Mrs. Jiang say this, I feel relieved.” Jiang Jingheng said in a teasing manner.

Since both of them dislike the person, there’s nothing to worry about.

Mu Yan thought he was talking about her lack of intentions for an affair and couldn’t help but laugh, ”He’s nowhere near as good as you.”

No, no man in the world can compare to him.

Afraid of being harassed again, Mu Yan turned off her phone before going to sleep.

The next morning, she woke up and turned her phone on, seeing lots of WeChat messages and quite a few missed calls.

It’s Saturday, Jiang Jingheng doesn’t need to go to work, still lying next to her, lounging in bed.

She just opened WeChat when an arm around her waist suddenly tightened.

”Awake?” his hoarse voice came.

Mu Yan felt someone’s vigilance was too good, whenever she moved, he would wake up.

”Hmm, you sleep a little longer.”

”I want you to sleep with me.” he said.

Mu Yan turned her head and saw him with his eyes closed, hair messily draped over his forehead, exuding a lazy charm.

She set down her phone, turned around and snuggled into his arms.

Initially worried she had neglected him and made him unhappy, she now realized she was overthinking.

Her husband was so considerate, he definitely wouldn’t get angry over such trivial matters.

Unfortunately, just as she nodded off for a while, her phone rang.

Mu Yan immediately woke up, grabbed her phone, and saw it was Song Cheng’an calling.

She slipped out of Jiang Jingheng’s embrace, sat up, and asked, ”Brother Song, morning.”

”Not up yet?” Song Cheng’an asked.

”Hmm.” Mu Yan felt a bit embarrassed.

Song Cheng’an directly asked, ”What’s up with you and Zhang Qun?”

”What?” Mu Yan was somewhat baffled.

Song Cheng’an said solemnly, ”Rumor has it online that you’re the third party between him and Fan Youyou.”

Mu Yan was shocked, ”Brother Song, don’t joke around, alright.”

She’s the mistress? And it’s Zhang Qun of all people, are you kidding!

”Mistress?” Jiang Jingheng’s deep voice came, he opened his eyes, light brown eyes clear.

Mu Yan glanced at him, ready to speak, just to see him get up, snatch the phone from her hand, and press the speakerphone.

He asked, ”What’s going on?”

”Some unfounded rumors, Mu Yan and Zhang Qun participated in a variety show together, and coincidentally Zhang Qun broke up with Fan Youyou. Some people threw the blame on Mu Yan, thinking she intervened and caused their relationship to break.” Song Cheng’an replied.

Mu Yan was speechless, ”Fan Youyou and Zhang Qun were a contract couple, their breakup was inevitable, what does it have to do with me.”

Song Cheng’an said helplessly, ”But the media and public don’t know, and since you are currently trending, the media would love to drag you into a scandal and create a topic.”

Mu Yan thought about Zhang Qun continuously hitting on her recently and instantly understood what was going on.

Deliberately creating topics of intimacy between the two and using her for leverage? Ha, pretty cunning!
