A-List Actress: Paper Marriage but Pampering Billionaire

Chapter 841: Chapter 841: Distancing

Mu Yan unhesitatingly added the number to her blacklist.

Ever since she entered the entertainment industry, many boys have been trying to curry favor with her, but it’s rare to see someone like Zhang Qun, who shamelessly approaches her.

She only gave her phone number to friends, but as she got to know more people, quite a few ended up knowing her number, though it’s unclear who Zhang Qun got it from.

Looks like she needs to consider changing her phone number.

In the apartment, Zhang Qun noticed that Mu Yan hadn’t replied to his messages, so he called her, only to find that it was either busy or a dead number, realizing that he had been blocked.

He looked at his phone with a cold smile, am I really that beneath her?

It’s a pity, he really had feelings for her, giving up wouldn’t be so easy.

The next day, Mu Yan went to the flower shop and gave the staff a few floral arrangement drawings she had created.

The flower shop had been receiving a lot of orders recently because of the approaching Qixi Festival, with many couples sending flowers to each other.

After staying in the flower shop for a while, Mu Yan was about to return to the villa when she suddenly received a call from Ning Shishen.

She was a bit surprised, ”Brother Ning? Is there something you need?”

”Can’t I call you for no reason?” he chuckled lightly.

Mu Yan quickly said, ”Of course not, but you’re usually the kind that doesn’t show up without a reason.”

”Alright then, I do have something important to discuss with you today, can we meet to talk?”

Mu Yan recalled just hearing from Ye that IOC had placed a lot of orders with the flower shop and felt it necessary to treat Ning Shishen to a meal, so she agreed.

In the restaurant’s private room, after watching the waiter leave with the menu, Mu Yan asked, ”Brother Ning, you mentioned on the phone that you needed something from me, what is it?”

”Have you thought clearly about becoming a designer?”

Mu Yan paused for a moment, realizing she had forgotten about it.

Ning Shishen chuckled, ”Looks like you forgot.”

Mu Yan was a bit embarrassed, ”Sorry about that.”

”It’s okay, I understand, you’ve been very busy, but now you can continue to think about it.”

Mu Yan pondered for a moment, ”I don’t have that much time.”

”Don’t worry, I won’t limit your submissions. Your payment will be based on the number and quality of the design sketches you submit, how does that sound?”

”Wouldn’t that be too much trouble for you?”

”Of course not,” Ning Shishen smiled and said, ”Rest assured, I’m a standard businessman, I won’t make deals that lose money.”

Mu Yan saw the sincerity he showed and felt embarrassed to refuse.

Moreover, she quite liked jewelry design, but she didn’t want to use her designs to please others.

She wanted to make someone happy.

Mu Yan picked up the teacup, ”I toast to you with tea in place of wine. Please guide me in the future.”

”Happy collaboration,” Ning Shishen also raised his teacup.

After drinking tea, Ning Shishen said, ”I heard from Ning Ze that Jing Heng went with you to see your family, aren’t your parents no longer around?”

Mu Yan frowned, ”The people on my biological father’s side are still there, I just hadn’t contacted them before.”

Ning Shishen saw Mu Yan’s calm face, slightly frowned, she still hadn’t remembered him?

After the meal, Mu Yan returned to the villa, and on the way, she received another text message from an unknown person asking if she had eaten.

She blacklisted the number and simply turned off her phone.

After spending an afternoon reading scripts in the villa, feeling a bit tired, Mu Yan simply started drawing design sketches.

Recently, she would practice drawing whenever she had time. Despite the fact that she hadn’t drawn in years, her fundamentals were intact, though her hand felt a bit rusty.

Around six o’clock, Jiang Jingheng came back, and as soon as he entered, he saw Mu Yan sitting in the living room drawing.

She was wearing a light blue dress, her long hair casually draped over her shoulders, with a slender figure, her back’s lines were extremely graceful, at this moment she herself looked like a painting, which also evoked his distant memories.
