A-List Actress: Paper Marriage but Pampering Billionaire

Chapter 715: Chapter 715 Try It?

The next morning, after breakfast, Mu Yan noticed Jiang Jingheng had no intention of going to work.

She didn’t think he would stay home with her today; the only possibility was that he had a falling out with his family and might lose his job.

This outcome was within her expectations, but she was still somewhat worried about him.

However, seeing him act as if nothing was wrong, she thought she might be worrying too much.

He didn’t leave, and Mu Yan didn’t go to the hospital to visit Mu Chen; after all, Luo Yao was there, and she’d just be a third wheel.

With nothing to do, Mu Yan had lots of flowers delivered home and spent time arranging them.

Jiang Jingheng sat beside her, watching her play with the flowers. When she was quietly working, it was as if she was bathed in a soft light, looking extremely comfortable.

Opening a flower shop was indeed for making money, but she genuinely liked this business.

The same type of flowers arranged differently gives people a different feeling, and each time she had a magical and fresh sensation.

Seeing that she was about to insert the final stem to complete her work, her hand was suddenly grabbed by someone.

Mu Yan looked at the person beside her, ”What’s wrong?”

”Let’s paint,” he said.

Mu Yan seemed not to hear clearly, asked, ”What?”

Jiang Jingheng looked at her tenderly, ”Pick up a paintbrush and paint all the vibrant colors of the world. It’s not just flowers; it can be mountains, it can be water, it can even be people,” Jiang Jingheng said.

After a pause, he added, ”If it’s painting people, you’re only allowed to paint me.”

Mu Yan was initially a bit surprised, but his last sentence amused her.

She smirked and laughed, ”You’re being too domineering.”

”Do you want to paint someone else?” Jiang Jingheng raised an eyebrow.

Mu Yan stared at him for a while, seeing his look beginning to falter before she slowly said, ”Of course not.”

But... can she even paint anymore?

Thinking of this, the amusement in her eyes quickly faded.

”How would you know unless you try?” Jiang Jingheng’s voice sounded in her ear.

The next moment, a hand lifted her chin, forcing her to meet his gaze.

”I believe in you,” he said.

Looking into his light brown eyes, her restless heart instantly calmed down, and she began to consider his suggestion.

Perhaps, she should give it a try?

She had promised him to let go of the past, and since he had such faith in her, she didn’t want to disappoint him.

”But I don’t have a canvas or brushes,” she said.

”No worries, I’ll prepare them for you.” Jiang Jingheng smiled, raising his hand to pinch her cheek.

Without giving Mu Yan a chance to reconsider, he got up, went upstairs, and instructed someone to deliver the art supplies.

Mu Yan looked in the direction of the stairs, feeling inexplicably nervous.

She hadn’t painted in many years, and she wondered if she could really create a painting this time.

About an hour later, the art supplies arrived.

Jiang Jingheng helped her set up the supplies and handed her a brush.

Mu Yan walked over, took the brush, and looking at the blank canvas, her mind went blank; she didn’t know what to do.

”Sit down and paint,” he said, leading Mu Yan to sit down in front of the easel.

Mu Yan looked at the easel, took a deep breath, and asked, ”What should I paint?”

”Paint whatever you want,” Jiang Jingheng said warmly.

Mu Yan pondered for a moment, glanced at the flower basket not far away, and a thought formed in her mind.

She held the brush, and just as the tip was about to touch the canvas, her hand started to tremble.

A hint of disappointment appeared in her eyes; as expected, it wasn’t working.

Just then, a large hand engulfed hers.

”Don’t be afraid.”
