A-List Actress: Paper Marriage but Pampering Billionaire

Chapter 702: Chapter 702: The Haughty Zhuang Chujiao!

At the villa entrance, Zhuang Chujiao looked around; according to what Jiang Yutai said, it seemed to be here.

The gate was open, they should be home, right?

She wanted to go in, but hesitated a bit, afraid she might really go to the wrong place.

Suddenly, she saw a beautiful girl about her age walking out. She was wearing an apron and holding a garbage bag, judging by her attire, she must be a servant, right?

Of course, there’s also a possibility she was the lady of the house.

However, she was unaware of Jiang Jingheng’s marital status, so she subconsciously ruled out that possibility.

She directly asked, ”Is this the Jiang Family’s villa?”

Mu Yan took a look at the fashionable and pretty girl in front of her, in her early twenties, hair in a bun, looking delicate and charming.

She was asking if this was the Jiang Family’s villa and if she was here to see Jiang Jingheng?

But, this also indicated that her relationship with Jiang Jingheng wasn’t very close.

She nodded, ”Yes.”

Zhuang Chujiao breathed a sigh of relief, lifted her chin, and went straight towards the gate.

Mu Yan watched the girl entering so unceremoniously and narrowed her eyes, what did this mean?

She placed the garbage at the door and turned to follow her inside.

Once inside, Zhuang Chujiao looked around, the living room was empty, not a soul in sight, but it was tidied up warmly and simply.

She turned back to look at Mu Yan and asked, ”Is Brother Jingheng upstairs?”

Brother Jingheng? Mu Yan’s eyelid twitched, which sister of Jiang Jingheng was this?

”No, he went to the company.”

”How is that possible? I just came from the company, he’s not there.” Zhuang Chujiao frowned and said.

”Then perhaps you just missed each other.” Mu Yan replied.

Disappointment welled up in Zhuang Chujiao’s heart, in this sweltering heat, was it easy for her to make a round trip?

She frustratedly sat on the sofa; she’s been in Upper City for two days and still hasn’t seen him, really unlucky.

Feeling irritated, she impatiently said, ”Won’t you quickly pour me a glass of water? Are you going to let me die of thirst?”

Mu Yan slightly frowned, it was the first time she saw someone so commanding, where did she think she was?

But, a guest is a guest, and was likely Jiang Jingheng’s friend or relative.

”Just a moment.”

Mu Yan turned towards the kitchen, and soon came back with a glass of water, handed it to her.

Zhuang Chujiao looked at the plain water in Mu Yan’s hand, her expression instantly darkened, ”Don’t you have any sense, in this scorching heat, who wants to drink plain water? I want juice, chilled.”

Mu Yan looked over at the young woman in front of her, dressed in designer brands, wearing a luxury watch, carrying a designer bag, anyway she looked at it, she seemed like someone from high society, but her manners were really something else.

She calmly said, ”I’m sorry, we don’t have any juice here.”

”How is that possible!” Zhuang Chujiao said angrily.

But she thought of Jiang Jingheng living alone, big men rarely liked drinking juice, and instantly understood.

She ordered, ”Then go quickly and buy some, remember to bring back some imported fruits, I want freshly squeezed juice, oh, by the way, the ice should be made from imported water.”

Mu Yan, ”...”

Is ordering people around an addiction now?

After giving instructions, Zhuang Chujiao took out a mirror to check her makeup and touched it up.

Suddenly, from the corner of her eye, she noticed Mu Yan wasn’t moving, and frowned, ”What are you standing there for? Hurry up, you idiot?”

Mu Yan felt she was pretty patient but had no patience to deal with this young lady who appeared out of nowhere.

She calmly said, ”If you’re here to see Jiang Jingheng, he’s gone to the company, you can find him there.”

”What company, I’m waiting for him here.” Zhuang Chujiao frowned and said.

She suddenly realized what Mu Yan meant and sneered, ”What, are you unwilling to do some work? Believe it or not, I can get Brother Jingheng to fire you!”
