Crossdressing To Survive An Apocalypse [BL]

Skyy’s heart felt like it was about to explode out of his chest as he sprinted through the narrow hallways.

His legs moved on instinct, driven by pure panic, his breaths coming out in short, ragged gasps.

His lungs burned, and the taste of fear was bitter in his throat. He hadn’t meant to end up in this mess. I should’ve stayed inside… should’ve warned Chen, he berated himself between gasps.

The base, once familiar, now felt like a maze. The passages blurred together as he turned corner after corner, the weight of the thieves’ pursuit heavy behind him. His mind raced. I don’t even know where I’m going!

As he whipped around another corner, he came face-to-face with one of the thieves.

”Oh its that beauty I was sad we missed out on you. Good thing you came here. Come to daddy. Let me ravish you.” The man had a greasy grin plastered on his face, his eyes gleaming with sinister intent.

For a split second, time slowed, and all Skyy could hear was the blood pounding in his ears. The man lunged at him, hands outstretched, fingers dirty and claw-like, reaching for him.

Skyy yelped, his body jerking backward in sheer terror.

He slipped, his shoes skidding against the smooth floor as he lost his balance. His legs flew out from under him, and before the thief could get a good grip, Skyy’s body slammed against the ground with a harsh thud.

Pain shot through his hip, but adrenaline numbed it, his focus entirely on escaping.

The thief’s fingers barely grazed Skyy’s shirt as he twisted away, kicking out in desperation.

His foot connected with the man’s shin, hard. A guttural groan escaped the man’s lips, but it only slowed him for a second. I have to move!

Skyy scrambled to his feet, his palms slick with sweat and grime, and spotted a fire extinguisher mounted on the wall just a few steps away.

Without thinking, he lunged for it, yanking it off the wall with trembling hands. The thief recovered quickly, lunging at him again, his breath reeking of something foul.

I’m not going to die here, Skyy thought, panic surging through him. He spun around and swung the extinguisher with all the strength he could muster.

The heavy metal connected with the side of the man’s head, and there was a sickening crack.

The man staggered, his greasy grin vanishing as he clutched the side of his face, stunned. Taking advantage of the moment, Skyy didn’t waste time.

He fumbled with the fire extinguisher, struggling to hold onto it with his shaking hands, then sprayed it directly in the thief’s face.

The thick white foam sprayed out in a suffocating burst, blinding the man, who cursed loudly, swiping at his eyes in a desperate attempt to see. ”You little—!” His voice choked off as the foam filled his mouth.

Skyy’s heart was still hammering, but he felt a brief rush of triumph. Move, Skyy, move! He darted past the coughing thief, his shoes slipping slightly on the foam-covered floor.

Every muscle in his body screamed at him to run, but his legs were starting to feel like jelly.

Bursting into a random room, Skyy didn’t even stop to look around.

His mind was focused on one thing—finding a place to hide. He dashed past the bed where a thin man lay hooked up to wires, not even registering the sight, and threw himself into the attached bathroom.

Skyy’s heart pounded in his throat as he darted into the room, barely managing to shut the door behind him.

His body was still shaking, his breaths shallow and rapid, but as he turned around, his frantic eyes landed on two familiar faces—Kyle and Kaden.

For a split second, time seemed to stop.

Relief surged through him like a wave, so strong it nearly knocked him off his feet.

”Kyle? Kaden?” he whispered, his voice trembling, disbelief mingling with shock.

They weren’t supposed to be here—he hadn’t expected to find them, especially not like this, in the middle of the night.

His legs nearly gave out, and he stumbled forward, grabbing Kyle without thinking. His grip was tight, desperate, as if holding on to his best friend would somehow make everything better, somehow make him safe.

”You’re here…why are you here…” His voice cracked, overwhelmed by the rush of emotions.

After all the terror, all the running, just seeing a familiar face made everything feel a little more manageable.

Kyle, startled by the sudden hug, blinked in confusion. ”Skyy? What the hell—”

Skyy squeezed him tighter, burying his face into Kyle’s shoulder for just a second, his body still trembling from the fear. ”There are people... they’re here to hurt your patient,” he whispered, his voice coming out in shaky bursts between breaths. ”I didn’t know where else to go, Kyle… I—I was so scared.”

Kyle, his own worry creeping into his expression, gently pulled back to look at him. ”Wait, slow down. What are you talking about?”

Before Skyy could explain, Kaden, standing just a few feet away, adjusted his glasses, clearly trying to assess the situation with his usual calmness. ”There are protective measures,” he said, his tone steady despite the chaos. ”The doors will lock automatically if there’s an intruder.”

Skyy watched, barely daring to hope, as Kaden calmly walked over to the wall and pressed a button.

The door made a soft click, locking securely.

For the first time since he started running, Skyy felt a tiny bit of relief wash over him.

His muscles sagged slightly, and his breath started to steady. We’re safe…

But his relief was short-lived. Just as he was about to let go of Kyle, a loud, shrill fire alarm blared throughout the room. The piercing sound echoed off the walls.

His stomach dropped as he watched the doors automatically disengage.

The fear returned full force, like a vice squeezing his chest. ”No… no, no, no, no…” Skyy whispered, his voice trembling. They weren’t safe. Not anymore.
