Crossdressing To Survive An Apocalypse [BL]

After his afternoon nap, Zou Yue regained his energy. He got up just to realise that he was still wearing those clothes.

”Shit!!! Did my mum see?” he checked himself. Thankfully, he still was wearing his fluffy coat. It hid even his feat. ”Good, good,” he jumped into the shower and changed into comfortable t-shirt and trousers.

”Mum! Mum!” he happily hopped into the kitchen.

His mother was blankly standing there. Hearing his calls, she swiftly wiped her cheeks. ”Baby, you woke up. Come have something to eat.”

. ”What’s cooking,” he leaned over her shoulders to see a small wok filled with green gram.

”I—I’m making sweet coconut green gram. Wait a bit it is yet to be cooked thoroughly,” she whispered, gently caressing his cheeks.

Zou Yue smirked and kissed her cheeks. ”Sweet~”

He ran to his father’s study next. He seemed to be immersed in reading something on the internet. ”Daddy~”

His father swiftly closed the browser and awkwardly glanced back. ”W—what is it, my son?”

”Nothing, just wanted to come check up on you. Dad I called uncle Bo, the work in our house will finish in just another twenty days. We shall move there after that.” he cheerfully hugged his neck.

His father glanced at him with an unknown smile on his face. ”That’s good my Yue. That’s good.” He gently patted his head and hugged him as well.

Zou Yue was stunned for a second. His after had never been the one to initiate a hug before. ”dad.... is everything alright?”

”Everything..... is great. You know that I love you, right?”

”Yeah~” Yue kissed his cheeks. ”My dad loves me more than anything in the world, I know that.”

”Yes, I’ll love you however you are. Whatever you chose in your life....”

”Oh what if I want to be a model again,” Zou Yue teasingly whispered to him.

He pulled away from the hug. ”You are still thinking about that wretched job!”

Zou Yue chuckled. ”Okay, okay, I was just joking geez. I won’t think about it. But what do you expect me to do? I am unemployed and I don’t think I have any the extraordinary talents. Only my beauty is my key feature”

”Nonsense, you are intelligent... you won second grade mathematical competition, remember.... then you also...” his father stuttered visibly.

Zou Yue laughed out loud. ”There are no accomplishments, dad. I am not that great of a person. I have no talent in education, no talent in anything, well even modelling. Even that I glide through it because of my face,”

His father sighed loudly. ”I’ll get you a job...”

”no! I don’t want to. Not for six months!! Think of it as a sick leave. I wish to just be free for these six months. Ohhh five months. It’s already December right?” he counted with his finger.

Time was running out.

But he was not idle, he was doing his best to collect all the materials he could. The house construction will be finished so and the goods can be moved little by little.

’Now all I have to do is learn to use a sword... and to get a sword.....’

”Dad, can I ask you one help?” he whispered excitedly.

His father pulled him to his office and made him sit down. ”What’s it?”

”I want to learn how to use a sword!” with shimmering eyes, he glanced at his dad.

”Well... aren’t you already learning archery? Why...”

”Archery is just a hobby, I wish to learn sword art until I can just slice through thing like a fruit ninja,” he mumbled waving his hands around.

His father’s eyebrows twitched. ’Anything is better than him going to model again,’

”Okay, I’ll ask around for classes nearby.... as for your sword... you have to ask uncle Wen. Swords are not that easy to acquire.” His father patted his back softly.

”Yeah~” Zou Yue jumped on him and hugged him tight. ”Thank you dad,”

”This is nothing.” his father gently pushed him into the kitchen. ”Go eat some snacks.”

”Okay, okay, dad come out soon. Your have really become a book worm nowadays,” Zou Yue mumbled and waved at his father.

Zou Wei closed the door behind him and ran back to his computer. ”History.... history...” he opened the browser from his history tab and started reading through it again.

”How to be more accepting of your child’s gender and sexual orientation?” he read out loud. The article mentioned how many people are mis-allocated a gender due to their birth gender.

”So men can be women and women can be men but there is a possibility that they are not gay....” he scratched his head. ”Darn this is confusing...I’ll ask Nui later. She might know more about this.”

He mumbled and closed his computer. Before leaving the room, he made a call.

”What the hell are you calling for?” a loud voice shouted from the other side.

”Shut up Wen, my ears are bleeding from your ugly voice!!!” he shouted back.

Wen scoffed. ”My voice is melodious.”

”Like heck it is. Listen, I need a favour.” Zou Wei whispered whist he anxiously touched the door knob.

”What?”

”Umm.....  I need a sword.” He whispered softly.

”What? I did not hear you!”

”I said I need a sword!!” Zou Wei gritted his teeth and sat down in his chair.

His best friend Wen went silent for a moment. ”What is up with your weird requests? You know my son’s friend also asked for the same thing, much worse he asked where he can find firearms. What the hell is going on? Are these young people planning on starting a mafia group on their own or what?”

Zou Wei did not think much about his words. ”Can you do it or not?”

”Of course I can. I have a friend in Osaka. It will be ready in a month but you need to have a talk to him about your ’sword’ preference.”

Zou Wei chuckled. ”You make it sound like I’m talking dirty,”

”Hump as if... I’ll send you the contact,” he mumbled, and the line went silent.

Only beeping sounds were heard.
