Crossdressing To Survive An Apocalypse [BL]

Without a word, Fan Xui left the hospital.

Bai Xiaolin, who was waiting in the waiting area, laughed out loud when he got to hear of this. ”It worked perfectly. Taking out his assistant was perfect indeed. I really should consider giving Liwei a bonus.” he pulled out his phone and made a call. ”Liwei, it worked perfectly. He is going over to see dead assistant. How did you even anticipate that,” he laughed in glee.

”I just know. Every time he wants to get a surgery kill someone close to him,” the gentle voice on the other side chuckled. ”Make sure he remains blind.”

. ”Definitely definitely.” he manically laughed out loud. ’A blind man can never inherit his fortune and his position. And when he gets kicked out I will be in his place and my darling Liwei will be my king.’ he thought happily as he left the hospital.

Mean while Fan Xui was in the doctor’s consultation room getting prepped for surgery.

”You can cheat him now, but can’t cheat him forever. I have seen it, the greed in his eyes. One day or another he will make sure to kill you,” the old doctor kindly remained.

Fan Xui’s blind eyes went cold for a second. ”I won’t let him hurt any more of my loved ones. Can you..... can you helparrange my assistants funeral.”

”Hmm I will,” the doctor silently looked into his blank eyes.

”How long is the recovery?”

”Six months,” the doctor said, checking his vitals once more.

”That’s all the time I need.” he hesitated a bit. ”Until I regain my vision, I am going to act as a blind man. Can you make sure to tamper with the documents, doctor?”

The old man chuckled. ”Just for you, kid, just for you.”

As he was getting wheeled into surgery a frantic manager Mu rushed with a middle aged lady with him.

”Dear, what room did the nurse say he was?” the lady anxiously glanced around. All she could see were unending corridors.

”Room 210, it’s this way,” manager Mu rushed to the admission room. This was the corridor’s only private room were present. He noticed 210 immediately. ”Darling, it’s this way.” he rushed into the room to find a stunned young man chewing on an orange.

”Aunty Helen!!” he jumped off the bed and hugged her tightly. ”Oh, missed you so much,”

She laughed and patted his back. ”We just saw each other yesterday. Aw, look at you. Your cheeks have sunken in. How did you lose so much weight? Is my husband not feeding you properly?” she glared at her husband.

”I am cooking for him every day! And this is the looks modelling agencies go for. Slim yet lithe figure.” he hugged Zou Yue tightly. ”Get back on bed,”

Zou Yue ran back and hopped onto the soft, fluffy bed. ”Manager Mu, you didn’t have to splurge company’s money on a private room like this. It’s such a waste of money,” he said that, but his expression said otherwise.

”I didn’t book this. I heard from the nurse that someone took care of your bills.” he placed the bag of fruits onto the bedside table and tapped his head. ”What were you thinking, running so late at night?”

Zou guiltily glanced up at him. ”I just wanted rose cakes,”

Aunty Helen glared at her husband again. ”If only you had bought it for him, this could have been avoided,”

”But he need to watch his weight darling,” he hugged his wife’s shoulders. But she pushed him away coldly.

”How can you say that? Look at his cute face; he doesn’t need to lose any more kilograms. He is perfect as is,”

Zou nodded. ”In fact, I’m planning on gaining weight after quitting. It’s good to have some extra pounds just in case of emergencies,”

The couple did not understand the implied meaning, they just laughed it off. ”I’ll go talk to the doctor,” the manger rushed out, leaving only the kind lady behind.

Zou Yue held her hand softly. ”Did you get my dried strawberries?”

”Hmm, it was so sweet of you. You have to eat healthy little Yue it’s not good to always eat junk food.” she worriedly caressed his cheeks.

”I kind of ate a lot and ran. I think it might just be indigestion.” He caressed his tummy.

Manager Mu came back soon with the report. ”Good news you are not dying. I was just the unhealthy amount of snacks you have been eating that caused ulcer. Eating spicy food just made it worse. The doctor said you can get discharged immediately.”

Zou sat up straight. ”Really!! Cool. Wait, who was the one who admitted me. Can I thank him personally? If not for him I might have been a lump on the sidewalk,”

”That one remains a secret. But I think it’s for the good. Little Yue should not get involved with rich men. Who knows what kind of weird taste they might have,” manager helped pack all the fruits.

Zou obediently nodded and got ready to leave. He glanced out the beautiful view of the sky scrapers and smiled. ’Whomever you are, sir, you helped me. I wish that in the future I can help you too,’
