Crossdressing To Survive An Apocalypse [BL]

”Fan Xui’s life was dark because he was blind almost all his twenty years of life,”

”What!!” Zou Yue sat up straight and glanced intently at the old man. ”You are not playing with me, right?”

”Why would I be? Fan Xui was blind almost a year into the apocalypse. After which he found a spiritual rich fruit. It helped him gain back his vision. And he also found a small pure white lotus there. I heard that it was the reason that he gained a second ability.”

Zou Yue was thoroughly stunned. He had never heard of this story before because he had only moved into this G city settlement only after three years or so. By then Fan Xui was a famous name.

”But why don’t many people know about this?”

”Because it is a well hid secret amongst his comrades.... this old man came to know of this by mistake.” He said with a small sigh. ”It’s all thanks to him that I am alive and well.”

Zou Yue laid back down and thought back to all the new information he got. ’If I got that lotus whet powers would I have awoken.’ He absentmindedly caressed the little rat in his pocket. ’It would probably be some shitty ability.’

He closed his eyes and stopped thinking about the impossible.

The next morning he woke up silently before the sun even rose. The only blanket in the house was draped over him while the old man snored away loudly on the couch.

”Stupid old man.” he gently pulled the covers over his shoulders. ”Thank you for taking pity on me. At least I have you to pity me.”

Zou Yue pulled out a few flattened bread packets and left it n the table with a note saying, ’rent.’

With renewed energy, he walked out of the house and into the silent streets. It was too early for the humans to be out and about.

He stretched out his hand, felling the first rays of sun shine hitting his skin.

”If there is a heaven what would it be like?” he mumbled as he slow danced though the street. Suddenly eh a small scuffle.

Zou Yue hid himself immediately in a corner.

”You useless trash!! I ordered you to kill a fucking homeless rat yet you let him slip through your hands,” a man’s voice screeched loudly.

Zou perked his ear up to listen to the gossip.

He then heard another voice whispering, ”He was not there, young master. Someone must have warned him about our arrival.”

”Stupid! He must have heard your stomping steps!” the young man dressed in white threw something to the ground.

Zou peaked out and took a look. It was the young man who was near Fan Xui in the car. ’Hm was he planning on assassinating someone? But who?’

”Find me that dirty man and kill him. Kill him on the spot. That dirty rat, how dare he try to get into my Fan-ah’s sights. Just incinerate him!!” the man cried loudly.

’Wow, his personality differs so much. Maybe he is what they call a green tea bitch?’

The young man named Liwei calmed down finally. ”Did you ask the other homeless where he could be?”

”The locals said that he usually lived inside that plastic mushroom... no one else knows where he might go,”

Zou’s heart stopped a moment. ’They are searching for me. They wanted to kill me!! Oh shit, they are the ones who came over last night. Fuck, I’m screwed. When did I try to get Fan Xui’s attention? This green teat bitch is too much.’ he bit his nails anxiously.

Soon the entourage left in a fancy car. Zou Yue ran out to his mushroom house immediately. He hurriedly packed what was left of his things. ”I need to leave.... leave this settlement. But fuck I love it here.” He pulled the duffle bag over his shoulder and crawled out.

But three burly men stood in his way.

”Oh, the rat crawled out.”

Zou immediately took off, but one of the men easily caught him. ”How shall we kill him?” he asked one of his friends.

”Do something I’m hungry,” the other replied.

The burly man glanced at Zou’s terrified eyes with an apologetic gaze. ”Sorry kid, you shouldn’t have offended higher officials like that,” he immediately stabbed him.

Zou gasped, holding the dagger that was protruding out of him. It was burning.... his skin was burning so much....

He pulled it out with difficulty.

Warm blood gushed out, dying his white hands red. With a trembling hand he put pressure on his wound. ’This is not the way I want to die.... I don’t want to die...’

His body became cold soon, but the warm blood on the ground gave him the feeling that was warmly hugged.

Zou Yue tiredly closed his eyes. ’Maybe death is a good thing.....’ he saw the little rat squeak loudly. With the rest of his energy he pulled out the flattened bread packet from his torn jacket. ”Eat..... live...” he shoved it at the rat.

After which his eyes closed forever, plunging his consciousness into darkness.
