Reborn in the 1970s — Married a Proud Rough Man

Chapter 135: Chapter 59: Jie Jingchen, You Lied to Me

Qin Mei’s large eyes darted around, a hint of slyness flashing within them. ”Congratulations. You’ve avoided the whole dilemma of having a boy or a girl.”

Jie Jingchen was utterly speechless. ’Is that supposed to be good news? It means the exact same thing, just said in a different way.’

’If I don’t teach her a lesson, she’ll really start running wild.’

Jie Jingchen put down his book, stood up, and started walking over. Qin Mei, who was sitting on the edge of the bed, immediately grew wary as he approached and adopted a defensive posture. ”Jie Jingchen, what are you trying to do?”

Jie Jingchen didn’t press closer. He stopped and stood by the bed, looking down his nose at Qin Mei. He said sarcastically, ”In your eyes, I’m already a eunuch. Is there any need for such a pointless gesture?”

Qin Mei’s body went stiff. Jie Jingchen had the absolute height advantage. Plus, he was standing while she was sitting. His overwhelming aura made Qin Mei want to flee. ”Um... eunuchs can become psychologically twisted and do some truly depraved things. Oh, uh, I think Jing Qi is calling for me. You have fun by yourself. I’ll just be on my way.”

Qin Mei tried to get up, but Jie Jingchen grabbed her by both shoulders. Qin Mei struggled—there was no way she was going to surrender without a fight. However, the more she struggled, the more force Jie Jingchen used, until he simply pinned her down.

Qin Mei’s body went rigid, and she didn’t dare to move. She could clearly feel Jie Jingchen’s reaction.

’This guy was really lying to me. I provoked him on purpose, trying to force him to tell the truth, but it looks like I took it too far.’ Qin Mei froze. ’He’s not actually going to take me right here and now, is he?’

”Jie Jingchen, you lied to me,” Qin Mei said, feigning anger.

”Didn’t you figure out I was lying to you a long time ago?” Jie Jingchen looked at the petite body pinned beneath him. Her skin was soft and smooth, and her figure was incredible—large breasts, a tiny waist, and a perky butt.

Qin Mei dropped the act. She stopped struggling and let her tense body relax. She reminded him in a leisurely tone, ”Jie Jingchen, don’t forget, your waist injury hasn’t healed. If you overexert it now, believe me, you really *will* become a eunuch. Indulgence now, crematorium later.”

This time, Qin Mei wasn’t just trying to scare him; she was telling the truth.

Jie Jingchen released her shoulders. His well-defined fingers caressed her fair, soft cheek, then moved to her chin, gripping it. ”It’s fine. I have faith in your medical skills. A few needles from you and I’ll be all right.”

Qin Mei stared at him, speechless. ’Give him acupuncture so he can take advantage of me? Am I crazy? Do I have a masochistic streak?’

”Jie Jingchen, get off! You’re too heavy! You’re crushing me to death! Hurry, I can’t breathe! I’m dying! I’m not kidding, I’m telling you the truth! Jie Jingchen, get up, quickly! Do you really want to be a widower?” Qin Mei gave him a push, but she couldn’t budge him at all.

’This guy was doing it on purpose. Absolutely on purpose. His whole body was pressing down on her; he was practically crushing her to death.’

There was suppressed desire in Jie Jingchen’s eyes, but even more so, there was a sense of playfulness. He wasn’t really going to do anything to her; he was just using her as an outlet for his teasing.

Seeing that she was genuinely starting to have trouble breathing under his weight, Jie Jingchen propped himself up slightly by pressing his left hand against the bed. Meanwhile, the pad of his right finger continued to stroke the delicate skin of her jaw.

Her skin was so incredibly fine and smooth, it made him not want to stop touching it.

”Stop touching me. If you keep this up, I’m going to... Jie Jingchen, if you don’t want me to force myself on you, you’d better get off me. Otherwise, you’ll have to face the consequences,” Qin Mei warned. She already lusted after his good looks, and now he was deliberately provoking her. He might not be burning with desire, but she was about to be.

’He had strong self-control and could suppress it with willpower. My self-control, on the other hand, is poor, and my willpower is even weaker. If by some chance I end up... doing *things* to him, I’ll just give him more trauma.’

Having experienced the effects of that cattle-breeding drug, Qin Mei was certain the original owner of her body had left him with some serious psychological trauma.

Qin Mei’s explicit words made even Jie Jingchen’s ears turn red.

Jie Jingchen was conflicted. Should he be sensible and get up, or should he continue to tease her and force her to experience a bit more ”married life” with him?

He knew his own body best. Without Qin Mei’s cooperation, his spirit was willing, but his waist was weak. At this moment, Jie Jingchen desperately hoped she would hurry up and heal his waist injury.

”Aiyo! Oh my heavens! What are you two doing?” Second Aunt’s deafening voice rang out.

The two people tangled together on the bed froze simultaneously. The door wasn’t closed, it wasn’t even dark out yet, and Second Aunt was supposed to be in the kitchen making dinner.

’Given our current position, one on top of the other, who would believe us if we said we were just playing around?’

’Awkward. This is so awkward. Just let a bolt of lightning strike me unconscious already!’
