Gene Domination: The Loli Who Devours Worlds

Seeing that everyone is asking for the cover, I’ve put it here. There’s another one at the end of the chapter. I will include two to three images at every update point.

Cold water droplets fell from the stalactites at the top of the Cave, tracing fine lines in the darkness before hitting the water surface, creating a crisp echo.

Lilith hung upside down on the damp, cold rock wall, her small red eyes glowing faintly in the dim environment.

Her small claws hooked onto the third hard-shelled beetle she had caught today, as she pondered the problem that had plagued her for a year.

The male memories of her past life and the female body of her current life—this sense of displacement was harder to bear than hunger.

Lilith bit open the beetle’s hard shell and sucked the bland, bitter juice.

As her taste buds registered the flavor, the memories replaying in her mind were not of beetle juice, but the steam of convenience store Oden late at night, and the refreshing sting of ice-cold cola sliding down her throat.

It was the warm blood of a mammal.

A familiar cramping pain came from her stomach. As a Vampire Bat, her long-term diet of beetles had made her a size smaller than her peers, with her ribs faintly visible beneath her white fur.

Beetles simply could not meet her energy needs; she required blood, but she had not mastered that skill because she had left her colony while still a juvenile.

The pheromones emitted by the male bats in her colony replayed in her mind.

Their coarse fur, their clumsy mating dances, and the sharp, incessant cries echoing throughout the Cave during mating season... Thinking of this, Lilith’s small body shuddered, and the beetle remains slipped from her claws, plunging into the darkness below.

Never!

She would rather wander, rather starve to death in this desolate Cave without her kind, than continue her genes in that manner.

That was not just physiological repulsion, but the final boundary of her soul. If she lost autonomy over this body and was driven by the instinct to breed, she would truly be nothing more than a bat.

”Gurgle~”

The protest from her stomach pulled Lilith back to reality. Faced with the food problem, hunger instantly took priority. Lilith awkwardly glanced at her flat little belly... Forget it! The immediate priority was eating!

Only after eating her fill could she continue contemplating her bat life.

Lilith spread her Bat Wings, preparing to go outside and find something to eat, when suddenly, a cold voice exploded in her mind.

[Ding! The Main God Game has descended upon the world. All humans aged 18 and over will be transported into the Main God Game in 24 hours.]

[Within 24 hours, players can use the system to learn the rules and information of the Main God Game, and awaken their respective Talents. Talent levels range from F-Level to SSS-Level.]

Lilith froze, her upside-down body swaying slightly from shock. Her claws instinctively tightened on the rock wall, and her spread Bat Wings retracted.

A blue screen of light appeared before her, representing her status as a player.

[Player: 10086]

[Life: 7]

[Strength: 0.8]

[Speed: 5.2]

[Spirit: 8.9]

[Constitution: 0.7]

[System Inventory: Six Slots]

[Note: The baseline value for all attributes of a normal human is 5, and the ideal maximum value is 10.]

[Awaken Talent!]

The entire Cave became extremely silent, so quiet that Lilith could even hear her own heartbeat.

Staring at the blue screen of light before her, Lilith finally reacted after a long pause. Her breathing quickened, and her small red eyes shimmered with excitement.

After becoming a Vampire Bat, she had repeated hunting and sleeping every day, cycling endlessly.

To humans, the Main God Game might be a disaster, but for her, it was a heaven-sent opportunity—an opportunity to escape her frail body!

”System, awaken Talent.”

Lilith silently chanted in her mind.

[Ding! Awakening in progress, please wait...]

As the system voice faded, a burst of heat erupted from deep within her heart, instantly sweeping through every blood vessel and every inch of Lilith’s tissue!

Lilith painfully curled up, her Bat Wings wrapping her into a ball. Her white fur stood on end as an unknown energy surged into her body, seemingly forcing a fusion with Lilith.

She didn’t know how long passed—perhaps a few seconds, perhaps a few minutes—but the heat subsided, and the pain vanished.

Lilith reluctantly opened her eyes. Large golden characters appeared on the blue screen of light, causing Lilith to feel slightly dazed. Immediately afterward, the system voice rang out again.

[Ding! Congratulations to 10086 for awakening the SSS-Level Talent, Gene Dominator.]

[Gene Dominator]

[Trait One, Devour and Plunder: Allows the user to devour creatures, plunder Gene Fragments, and synthesize Sequence Genes.]

[Trait Two, Mutation Armament: Fuse Sequence Genes to perform localized mutation and modification of the body.]

[Trait Three, Life Sublimation: After accumulating three localized mutations, a comprehensive life-level evolution can be activated!]

Lilith’s breathing hitched. She stared wide-eyed at the screen of light before her.

SSS-Level Talent, the highest-grade Talent. Even Lilith hadn’t expected herself to awaken an SSS-Level Talent.

A wave of joy flooded Lilith’s heart, instantly dissipating the long-standing suppression she felt as a bat.

Evolution, gene fusion—this could definitely allow her to escape the bat’s weak body and break free from her current predicament.

Forcing down the surging joy in her heart, Lilith compelled herself to calm down. She knew time was pressing; now was not the time to celebrate.

”System, check Main God Game information.”

Lilith continued to ask internally.

[Ding! Main God Game information is as follows.]

[Information One: The Main God Game is divided into three major factions: Hunter, Reincarnators, and Balancer. Hunters represent ultimate power, Reincarnators represent group combat, and Balancer balance plot development.]

[Information Two: After the evaluation level is raised to E-Level, players can choose their affiliated faction advancement route. Current evaluation is F.]

[Information Three: Everything gained in the Main God Game can be brought back to reality. Equipment from the real world cannot be brought into the Main God Space.]

[Information Four: In the Main God Game, players must traverse different monster movie worlds and complete their respective missions based on their faction.]

[Information Five: Death in the game is true death.]

[Information Six: SSS-Level Talent holders are automatically assigned to the Hunter faction.]

Looking at the core information on the blue screen of light, Lilith bared her sharp fangs, revealing a predator’s smile, devoid of laughter.

Hunter, ultimate power—wasn’t this exactly what she was currently pursuing?

Now that she had become a female bat, only by truly becoming powerful could she restrain the physiological urge to breed and mate, and avoid completely devolving into an animal.

Lilith looked at the weak attributes on the blue screen of light; Strength and Constitution were pitifully low.

Only Speed and Spirit stood out. The high Spirit was likely due to her past life as a human, and the fast Speed was her capital for survival during the half-year she spent wandering and hunting.

Her current attributes were those of cannon fodder. Therefore, the next step was to hunt for a gene and complete one mutation before the Main God Game began.

Lilith released the rock wall and dropped from the air. A white figure streaked through the dim Cave, flying toward the outside world. With her ultrasonic senses activated, the surrounding three-dimensional landscape was received and rapidly processed by Lilith’s brain...
