Raising My Children With My Personal Spatial Ability

Chapter 3417: Chapter 3417: You

Although she found Wei Na’s suspicions amusing, she was certain there was no issue, an undeniable fact.

”If you feel unwell anywhere, you must tell me,” Qian Jiyun reminded her once more.

This Endless Desert had been peculiar since he entered. It wasn’t the Evil Dragon that seemed odd, but the desert itself, with the feeling that a pair of eyes were constantly watching them.

If not for the Silly Dragon telling him that the Evil Dragon was still far away, he would have suspected that the pair of eyes watching them belonged to that dragon.

”Hmm.”

An Jiuyue responded.

She certainly wouldn’t neglect herself and brought the Silly Dragon out from Jiyun’s space, holding it in her hand, its size akin to a small snake.

”Are you really sure? Is that Evil Dragon still far away?” she asked.

”Yup, it’s still far from us,” the Silly Dragon nodded its snake head lightly.

”At your current pace, I reckon you won’t reach there for another two months.”

He calculated based on their progress over the past fortnight. He had learned quite a lot by staying around Qian Jiyun and An Jiuyue, and elementary arithmetic was within his grasp.

However, it didn’t seem like the time to talk about the Evil Dragon’s location. Suddenly, he turned his snake head toward a particular direction and looked over.

He expected to see something, but saw nothing—just sand upon sand.

”Strange...”

”What’s strange?” An Jiuyue asked him.

”Don’t you find it strange?” the Silly Dragon questioned them.

His intuition couldn’t be wrong, right? There should have been a pair of eyes spying on them just now, yet he saw nothing.

Could it be because he spent too long in Qian Jiyun’s space, alongside the Dragon Soul?

”Are you talking about the thing secretly watching us?” Qian Jiyun lowered his voice and asked deeply.

The Silly Dragon immediately directed his gaze toward Qian Jiyun, ”You sensed it too, right? I wasn’t wrong; there is something observing us.”

This was his first time out in the Endless Desert; previously, he stayed inside Qian Jiyun’s space.

Thus, he also sensed the scorching gaze, seemingly intent on piercing them, yet despite knowing from where the attention came, they saw nothing.

”Do you think there might be many demonic beasts living under the sands of this Endless Desert? Perhaps they’ll suddenly emerge to swallow us whole once they’ve seen enough?”

He speculated.

Everyone: ”...”

It’s possible for demonic beasts to be lurking beneath the desert sands.

However, the idea of them suddenly swallowing them whole was somewhat exaggerated. They had fought demonic beasts before, having slain many Evil Dragons, were they really going to fear mere creatures hidden in the sand?

”There’s no aura of demonic beasts,” Qian Jiyun said.

Since entering the Endless Desert, he had been sensing for demonic beasts’ aura, but there was none.

If there were, he could track the demonic beasts’ aura and capture the thing watching them secretly, rather than allowing it to observe them for half a month.

”Perhaps it’s not demonic beasts, but other monsters,” An Jiuyue also speculated.

The main issue was their ignorance of what the thing was, having never seen its physical form, only feeling its gaze. This sensation, how to put it... was quite unpleasant.
