Raising My Children With My Personal Spatial Ability

Chapter 3154: Chapter 3154: Snatch Whoever You Can

“You stay here, I’ll go report the situation to the Sect Master.”

There was no other way. If she didn’t report to the Sect Master, it would be a dereliction of her duty.

Why did all the Elders go chasing after them? If even one had stayed behind, she wouldn’t have to face the Sect Master directly!

She secretly lamented in her heart. Why did such unlucky things always fall on her head? Being a disciple of the Saintess Sect was indeed not easy.

What kind of situation was this? Why were these gathered men so troublesome? If only they were as easily coaxed as the men from before, how great that would be.

What she didn’t know was that men were easy to coax in the past because their lives were not on the line.

Now that their lives and property were threatened, who would be willing to be coaxed? Those who were willing were simply courting death.

As the female disciple expected, when she informed the Sect Master about another group escaping and the resources being emptied, the Sect Master glared at her as if she wanted to devour her.

If it weren’t for being preoccupied, there would be no doubt that she would already be a corpse.

But what did this matter have to do with her?

In the end, she could only follow the Sect Master’s orders to lead the disciples in pursuit, but who could say if they could catch up? No one even knew when the second group of men had escaped.

…

In the desert, several places saw a standoff between men and the Elders of the Saintess Sect.

Especially with the Elders having neither food nor drink, it was truly uncomfortable, but they dared not make any move. Regardless of the men’s usefulness, the children were of utmost importance.

If they lost the children, they would have to start all over again.

“If you ask me, we should just seize people, grab whoever we can.”

In one of the places, there were also two Elders, one with a more irritable temperament, lacking the patience for a standoff.

“Do not act rashly. If the children are harmed, it would be unacceptable,” the other Elder cautioned, seeing her growing irritable.

“What’s unacceptable? At worst, we’ll just grab some more children!” The irritable Elder hacked a few times into the yellow sand with her long sword, muttering angrily.

The other Elder: “…”

If any child could be just grabbed and useful, why would they go through so much trouble to snatch the talented children of the major clans?

It was precisely because those children were useful.

“Elder He, we don’t have much time,” she said, furrowing her brow.

The major clans should have realized by now that the children were taken by them; who knows when they might come chasing, and if they’re entangled by the major clans, how could they ever reach the Merciful Continent?

“So, we just remain in a standoff like this?”

Elder He questioned angrily, casting a glance at the men and children not far away. She really wanted to cut them down one by one.

She couldn’t understand why, with so many female disciples in the Saintess Sect, the Sect Master insisted on bringing so many men, resulting in this mess.

They were in a standoff here, and she believed it must be similar in other places too.

“Of course not, they won’t hold out for long; we’ll act when the time is right,” the other Elder said.

“Ha.”

Elder He let out a cold laugh.

What ‘act when the time is right’? Didn’t she see it was them who were afraid of mistakenly hitting the rats themselves?

Those men, with children and food in hand, what did they have to fear? It was they, without food, who should be worried.
