Raising My Children With My Personal Spatial Ability

Chapter 3139: Most Afraid of Their Covert Moves

Qing Qiushi answered confidently.

Of course, he wouldn’t reveal that he had learned about the Saintess Sect wanting to capture the children from their clan, otherwise, he would become the target of everyone’s wrath.

Everyone would come to blame him, while they’d be less concerned about the wrongful acts committed by the Saintess Sect.

”This desert is indeed the passage leading to Merciful Continent.” Several Family Heads who were aware agreed with Qing Qiushi, as they still knew where the entrance to Merciful Continent was.

”It’s said that this small town used to be a place where people gathered, once even a sizable city. However, since the passage to Merciful Continent was forbidden, it lost its original significance, and gradually, it lost its past prosperity.”

Unlike Huayan Peak, back then Merciful Continent was a place a cultivator could cross over to.

Also, because the passage was in the desert, to enter the desert, one had to purchase water and food. This city became a place everyone in Seasonal Moon Plane who wanted to enter Merciful Continent had to pass through and spend money on water and food.

Hence, it was once very prosperous.

But ever since Merciful Continent was forbidden, it has been far from what it used to be.

The once vast city has, over tens of thousands of years of change, turned into a mere small town, with a regrettably small population.

And the cause of all this is the Saintess Sect, so the people here are very hostile towards the Saintess Sect’s disciples, almost to the point where everyone wants them gone.

”My subordinates just found out that three days ago, the Saintess Sect’s disciples visited the small town and looted a large batch of food and water. When the townspeople refused to sell, they simply took them by force.”

One Family Head said.

”Tsk, this indeed sounds just like something the Saintess Sect disciples would do.”

Another Family Head clicked his tongue lightly. None of these Family Heads from the major clans in Yin City liked the Saintess Sect, especially because they abhorred their domineering behavior.

”What else did you find out?”

”According to the townspeople, there are two groups of Saintess Sect disciples. One group, all females, entered the desert half a month ago, while another group with several males and children entered the desert three days ago.”

The Family Head who gathered the information continued.

”The total number of disciples from the Saintess Sect is around six to seven thousand. Adding the men and children they brought this time, there must be over ten thousand.”

”Others don’t matter; we’re targeting the Saintess Sect’s disciples,” another Family Head said.

Even if those men are devoted to the Saintess Sect’s disciples, when compared to their own lives, their choices might not be as certain.

As for the children, there’s no need to speak about them. We’re going there to rescue them, so how could we face them with swords?

Even if we did, they’re just children, not to be taken seriously.

”Even if others don’t count, just dealing with the Saintess Sect’s disciples isn’t easy.”

”Indeed, the Saintess Sect’s disciples, although their cultivation levels may vary, have many sinister methods, and the biggest fear is their covert moves.”

Several Family Heads were still concerned; although they brought elite members of their families, they ended up not having enough people. The final outcome was yet unknown.
