Raising My Children With My Personal Spatial Ability

Chapter 2988: Chapter 2988: Paying Lip Service to Me

Now is not the time to offend that couple, even for the sake of the City Lord Residence, we must endure it. After these matters are resolved, then he can deal with that couple!

But for now, he should go home and settle things with his unworthy son.

Everything was going fine, if only that reckless son’s attitude were better, we wouldn’t be unable to even enter the City Lord Residence’s gate.

...

”Why am I being called back again?”

Steward Zhao personally went to bring him back, but on the way, he didn’t dare mention that the Master was angry, so he had to coax him back.

When he arrived at the study, the Head of Le Family had already been tossed back from the gate of the large household. Upon seeing his father, he casually found a chair to sit down on, poured himself some tea, and asked.

”You wretch!”

The Head of Le Family hurled his paperweight directly at the disobedient son.

”Ouch!”

The Young Master Le was a step slow to react, not expecting his father would throw such a solid object, directly causing his forehead to bleed.

He screamed in pain, dropping the teapot he was holding to the ground.

”Father, what are you doing, why are you hitting people out of the blue?” he asked, clutching his forehead with one hand.

He just went out for a drink, it’s not like he hadn’t done it before. What madness had taken his father to act like this, throwing such a big paperweight, it’s a good thing he had a hard head, otherwise, who knows what injury he might have received?

”I’m drinking to make more friends. Didn’t you say our family had offended someone? I’m doing it for our Le Family.”

”Out of the blue? You still have the nerve to say ’out of the blue’?”

The Head of Le Family felt a bit pained to see his son bleeding, but upon hearing his son’s words, the slight ache in his heart suddenly vanished.

This son of his truly was spoiled rotten by him, otherwise, how could he say such things?

”Are your legs broken, or what, can’t you walk? You even dared to think about taking a horse carriage into the City Lord Residence, who gave you the courage? I asked you to apologize, not to flaunt your power!”

He pointed accusingly at his son’s nose.

It really made him want to explode with anger, how did he end up with such a creature?

”Is this my fault? It has nothing to do with me.”

The Young Master Le felt innocent, why should he have to apologize when he hadn’t offended anyone from the City Lord Residence?

”It was Steward Zhao who caused trouble, yet I’m the one being told to apologize. Does my dignity mean nothing? Father, where’s the justice in that, I’m the young master of the Le Family!”

”You...”

The Head of Le Family was at a loss for words.

The young masters of other families would always be courteous to Young City Lord Bai, but his son wanted to act like brothers with the Young City Lord.

Normally, that might not be a problem.

But given the current situation, the Le Family is in trouble. Everyone needs to be on edge, but instead of reining himself in, he’s dragging them down.

”So, you’re not listening to your father either? I asked you to apologize, and you defy me?”

”How am I being defiant, it’s the people at the City Lord Residence not giving me face.” Young Master Le cried out unfairly. It wasn’t that he didn’t want to go in; it was clearly the people from the City Lord Residence who wouldn’t give him face and wouldn’t let him in.
