Cutesy Wife Sweet Like Honey: Mr. Mu's Nightly Dote!

Chapter 1066: Chapter 1108: A Heart Full of Wounds

She never knew that hidden beneath this gentle and strong exterior was a heart full of holes!

Ling Yueyue choked up, sniffing slightly and holding Huo Junmo’s hand, pressing his palm against her lower abdomen, she said seriously, ”Don’t worry, I’ll teach you! This is our child, and we should witness his growth together! Even if he’s still very small now, we can’t miss any of his moments!”

Feeling Ling Yueyue’s still-flat abdomen, Huo Junmo’s fingers moved slightly, his eyes flickered, and after a while, he nodded strongly and gently said ”Mm” to the doctor!

Just as Huo Junmo finished speaking, Ling Yueyue’s stomach let out a ’gurgle’ sound!

Ling Yueyue scratched her head, her cheeks reddened as she said, ”I... I’m hungry! I’m feeling fine now, I should be able to be discharged, right? I want to go out for breakfast!”

”Mm! The doctor said that if you woke up this morning and had recovered normally, you could be discharged! Sit here for a while, I’ll handle your discharge procedures!” Saying that, he let Ling Yueyue sit by the bedside, then lay her down on the bed before heading out to handle the procedures.

Huo Junmo was very quick, and since it was morning, there were few people handling procedures, so he was back in no time!

When Huo Junmo returned, Ling Yueyue had already combed her hair and washed up!

Seeing Huo Junmo enter, Ling Yueyue squinted her eyes and smiled, jumping off the bed and holding Huo Junmo’s hand, ”You’ve finished the discharge procedures, right? Let’s go! I’m starving!”

Huo Junmo held her hand and looked her over from head to toe, ”No! Look at you, you’re still wearing pajamas! I just called the housekeeper to bring a set of clothes for you! Wait until you’ve changed before going out!”

Ling Yueyue followed his gaze to look at her clothes! It was a set of pink Mickey Mouse pajamas, kawaii in style, full of childlike innocence! The clothes were conservative, but if she went out in broad daylight wearing them, it would surely attract attention!

In order not to become the center of attention, Ling Yueyue had to endure hunger waiting for the housekeeper.

Seeing her constantly touching her stomach, Huo Junmo asked with concern, ”Are you very hungry? Bear with it a little longer, the housekeeper is coming soon, I asked him to bring breakfast!”

Upon hearing this, Ling Yueyue quickly asked, ”What? You asked the housekeeper to bring breakfast? What’s for breakfast at home today?”

Huo Junmo replied, ”Bird’s nest porridge!”

Ling Yueyue instantly protested, ”Nooo... I don’t want bird’s nest porridge, I want beef noodles! Bird’s nest porridge is so bland with no flavor at all! Beef noodles are much tastier!”

Huo Junmo’s rare decisiveness surfaced, ”No! Last night you ended up in the hospital with stomach pain because you ate outside! Given your current condition, you can only eat at home, where it’s clean and hygienic! Otherwise, what if you get stomach pain again?”

Ling Yueyue tugged at Huo Junmo’s arm, pleading gently, ”Ohhh... Mr. Huo, just let me go out for beef noodles! If you’re worried about hygiene, we can find a clean, nicely decorated breakfast place! I used to eat out all the time and had no issues, today will be fine too!”

”You used to eat roadside stalls every day without issues, but look what happened yesterday! No way!” Huo Junmo still shook his head firmly and refused to relent.

”That’s because I ate too much yesterday, which caused the stomach pain! Plus, roadside stalls are obviously less clean than proper places! It’s normal for roadside stalls to have dust! Shops don’t have dust! I only want beef noodles! I promise I’ll eat just one bowl, a little bit won’t cause any problems! Mr. Huo!” Ling Yueyue kept pestering, clearly determined not to give up until Huo Junmo agreed.

Displaying rare authority, Huo Junmo declared, ”I can agree to anything else, but not this! Now that you’re pregnant, I will hire a professional to design a diet plan for you, and you’ll follow the diet until the baby is born; you can’t eat outside food until then!”

”...!” Hearing Huo Junmo’s words, Ling Yueyue suddenly felt the world spinning, as if the sky was falling!

What does a personalized diet plan mean? Can those diet meals even be eaten? Surely they won’t have any spice, all bland and boring dishes!

She’s only three months pregnant now, and there’s seven more months until the baby is born! That means she’ll have to restrict her diet for seven more months!

No, even after the baby is born, it’s known that during confinement, you can’t eat randomly, and when breastfeeding, dieting is even stricter! Calculating this way, she won’t be able to eat freely for nearly two years!

Oh my, oh my...! She feels like her future is bleak, she can almost imagine what her life will be like!

Seeing Ling Yueyue’s look of great bitterness and sorrow, seemingly losing all zest for life, Huo Junmo smiled and gently stroked her cheek, saying with a smile, ”Be good! Normally, everything can go your way, but you must listen to me on this matter! Pregnancy is not child’s play; you need to be very cautious, otherwise, you’ll end up like last night!”

Ling Yueyue looked at Huo Junmo with a pitiful expression, extending a slender finger, in a tone full of pleading, ”Mr. Huo, can’t we discuss this? How about giving me one day a week to freely choose what I eat?”

In the past, she would’ve arrogantly stated she owns her life, she eats what she wants!

But now it’s different, now there’s a child in her belly! If her stubbornness causes any harm to the baby, she would be gravely guilty! So, she couldn’t insist hard on her way, only try a softer approach!

Huo Junmo shook his head firmly, ”No way! This matter must be handled my way! Later, I’ll instruct the housekeeper to hire a nutritionist to design a meal plan for you! From now on, every meal must follow the nutritionist’s recommendations!”

”Ohhh...! Why do I feel the world is shrouded in darkness! Ohhh... I’m really too pitiful! Ohhh...!” Seeing no matter how much she acted cute, Huo Junmo was unmoved, Ling Yueyue collapsed onto the bed, covering her face with the pillow, wailing in pain!

But, before long, the pillow covering her face vanished! Ling Yueyue looked up and saw the pillow had been thrown onto the sofa in the hospital room by Huo Junmo!

With a stern face, Huo Junmo said earnestly, ”Don’t cover your face with a pillow, it’s bad for your health!”

”...!” Ling Yueyue couldn’t take it anymore and rolled her eyes, turning around to lie on her side in bed, deciding to ignore him, silently protesting! Hoping he would sense the compromise of a pampered one!

Unfortunately, the always gentle and considerate Huo Junmo seemed completely unaware that she was angry!
