Crossover Shipgirls: Building a Dimensional Empire from Scratch

Whoosh—

Shalltear leaped down with the Pleiades and the Angeloids.

The angels scattered through the air and, under Sophon’s command, efficiently began taking control of the entire world.

They were already thoroughly familiar with how to conquer a pre-space-age Earth, having practiced it countless times in previous worlds. There was no need to put much thought into it.

”Follow the angels, provide support, and eliminate any special targets.”

Albedo issued orders to Sword Maiden and Priestess.

Aside from the island nation, Sophon had also discovered traces of vampires in other parts of the world.

Most of them hid within society, operating under human identities. Only these people from another world, who were exceptionally sensitive to magic, could detect them.

”Yes—”

The two groups split up and went their separate ways.

Earth’s natives were suddenly invaded by aliens, immediately causing a worldwide uproar as every nation erupted into chaos.

They assembled their militaries and resisted, only to be crushed within half a minute.

Faced with Sophon’s ultimatum, they gathered together to contemplate their lives.

Meanwhile, in a remote region of the island nation, deep within the mountains and forests...

Boom—

Shalltear landed directly near the ancient castle with the Pleiades.

Her instincts told her this place was important.

It lay deep within an uninhabited forest, shrouded in mist and protected by a faint magical barrier.

Crack—

With a light tap, the barrier shattered.

It revealed a magnificent Gothic mansion resembling the castle of a medieval lord.

”Ugh...”

A group of undead resembling dried corpses staggered out of the castle. Every one of them wore a neat suit, creating a stark contrast with their shriveled bodies.

”Low-level undead? Tch—”

Bang!—

Shalltear casually struck them, blasting the miscellaneous cannon fodder apart.

”Come out. Don’t bother trying to run. I’ve found you.”

She sniffed the presence inside and gave a soft laugh.

At the same time, she tightened her grip on her weapon.

In most worlds, vampires were enemies. They were either captured and brought back for Herta to dissect and study, or simply exterminated on the spot.

Shalltear did not mind fighting a vampire from another world. She had the pride of a True Ancestor.

Even if she encountered another True Ancestor, she would still want to test their strength.

Creak—

The castle doors slowly opened.

Instead of the terrifying, sinister vampire they had imagined, a silver-haired girl in a Gothic dress walked out.

She wore an extravagant black-and-red dress, her hair tied into low twin tails with black ribbons. Her features were exquisitely beautiful, and her crimson eyes faintly radiated a dangerous allure.

Even her movements were as elegant as a noble’s. She paced forward and looked down at everyone.

”Filthy humans, how dare you...”

The moment the words left her mouth, the girl froze.

”No, you’re not human?...”

”Oh?!”

The two vampires faced each other in silence for a moment.

”Who are you?!”

”Who are you people?!! It’s been three hundred years, and you still refuse to leave me alone?!!”

”Die!!!”

The moment the girl sensed the vampiric aura coming from Shalltear, she reacted as though triggered by some deep trauma and immediately attacked.

Whoosh—

She transformed into a swarm of bats and lunged at Shalltear at an unimaginable speed.

At the same time, dense fog rose around them, reducing visibility until they could barely see their hands in front of their faces.

”Petty tricks.”

Smack—

Shalltear dispersed the swarm of bats with one hand, stepped forward, and reached out, seizing the girl’s neck.

”Ugh!”

The girl struggled twice but could not break free at all.

Although they were both vampires, the difference in strength between them was overwhelming. Victory had been decided in a single move.

”Hmm... You were transformed into a vampire? Looks like vampires in this world aren’t very strong either.”

Shalltear stared at her for a moment.

She could crush an ordinary vampire with one finger, but this one... seemed rather special.

”Whatever. We’ll take her back to the Supreme Being. She’s our spoil of war.”

Bzzzt—

Back in the WorldEnd world...

Setsuna received a transmission from Albedo.

”Reporting to the Supreme Being. We have completely conquered this world.”

”It is broadly similar to Earth during the pre-space age. After investigation, we determined that its small amount of magical power originates from vampires hiding throughout various countries.”

”They aren’t very strong. Most have already been exterminated by us and the Goblin Slayer team. Shalltear captured one unusual individual. If you want her, we’ll bring her to you later.”

”Hm?”

Setsuna froze for a moment.

”A world where vampires live among humans? Where are you?”

”And who is the vampire you captured?”

”...”

Albedo turned her head and asked.

”She says her name is Kirie Kagarino.”

”???”

...

Two hours later.

Boom—

Another Astral Express crossed the sea of stars and rendezvoused with Crew One.

”Supreme One!”

Albedo gracefully bowed to Setsuna with the Pleiades behind her.

”My deepest apologies. We failed to successfully conquer Haruhi Suzumiya’s world and even forced the Supreme One to intervene personally. This subordinate is truly ashamed...”

”It’s a minor issue. Don’t worry about it.”

Setsuna had more or less grown accustomed to Albedo’s extreme reverence and anxiety.

”The conquest of this world went smoothly. Their strength is very weak. I’ve already contacted Sophon and had her establish the Starsea Empire’s administrative system there.”

”This is the spoil of war we captured. Shalltear.”

Albedo clapped her hands, and Shalltear walked in carrying Kirie like a chick.

She set her down in front of Setsuna.

”You must show the proper respect when granted an audience with the Supreme One.”

Smack!—

She pressed Kirie down and forced her to kneel before Setsuna.

”Ghk...”

The girl’s gaze was both indignant and helpless as she stared at Setsuna.

”Ha.”

Setsuna laughed. He did not even need to open the star map to know which new world Crew Four had explored.

[Bishoujo Mangekyou 1—The Cursed Legendary Girl]

A heavyweight of the adult visual novel genre.

The Senren Banka world they had visited earlier had originally been an adult visual novel world as well, but the Bishoujo Mangekyou series was even more outrageous. Aside from its adult content being adult content...

In terms of sheer ”practicality,” it was more than a whole tier above both Nekopara and Yuzusoft’s entire catalog.

Of course, the girls in it were also top-tier.

The vampire before him was exceptionally beautiful. Even after fighting Shalltear and becoming a prisoner, the seductive charm radiating from her was impossible to conceal.

”...Get up.”

Setsuna gently pinched Kirie’s chin and helped her rise.

”I am the Commander of the Starsea Empire. We have completely conquered the world you came from.”

”From now on, you’ll live here.”

”Eh?!”

The idea of an otherworldly empire conquering the world was somewhat difficult for Kirie to comprehend.

Her eyes were filled with confusion.

”The remaining vampires in that world have already been cleaned out, so don’t worry.”

Setsuna smiled.

He was very familiar with Kirie Kagarino. Although Kirie looked young, she had actually been a French noblewoman three hundred years ago. Her parents had been killed by vampires in an accident, and she herself had been turned into a vampire.

Later, she transformed into a bat and fled Paris, living alone on the fringes of human society ever since.

”Why did you come looking for me?”

Kirie did not understand.

”No particular reason. I just like you. Or would you rather be exterminated by Shalltear and Sword Maiden like the other vampires?”

”Under the Starsea Empire’s rule, we don’t permit things that refuse to accept Imperial law and periodically emerge to cause trouble.”

”Ugh...”

The girl was left speechless.

”Commander, Commander.”

Gudako secretly poked Setsuna.

”She’s a vampire, and her level isn’t as high as Shalltear’s. Doesn’t that mean she needs to drink blood regularly?”

”Who’s going to let her drink theirs in the Starsea Empire? You? Uh... or should we have Herta figure something out?...”

”No.”

Setsuna shook his head.

”Do you know why Bishoujo Mangekyou is an adult visual novel?”

”Why?”

”Because compared to sucking blood for energy, the vampires in this world prefer sucking something else. Looks like I’ll have no choice but to reluctantly provide her with a long-term supply.”

”???”
