Journey to Planar World

10 years later.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Tournament Location

Currently, the Yu-Gi-Oh! Card game was already using virtual projection, almost exactly the same as in the anime.

This technology was developed by Morishita Co., Ltd. Currently a Yu-Gi-Oh! Tournament was being held where the winner would receive a one billion prize.

The title ”King of Games” was currently held by Ryunosuke. He had dominated that position for almost 9 years. Currently, the top four selection was in progress to determine who had the right to challenge him.

Actually, Ryunosuke just felt it was a waste if the one billion prize fell into other people’s hands, so he stepped in himself to win that money back.

Ai, who was holding her child’s hand, could only remain silent holding back comments.

Did their family lack one billion? But she couldn’t say anything; after all that was her husband, she would obey whatever his wishes.

Ai brought a little girl whose face was very similar to hers to the topmost spectator seat. This was the place she had reserved beforehand, where the entire arena view could be seen clearly.

Ai sat Morishita Rin, her daughter from her love with Ryunosuke, on her lap to watch the match. On her left and right sides there were also two other small children.

One was Sakura Hana who had dark red hair. The other was Ichinose Ichika who had white hair with large aqua blue eyes.

Both were her husband’s children from other women...

Thinking about this, Ai felt irritated. Back then she was less vigilant so her rivals became this many. She couldn’t even keep watch over everyone, even her cousin had a child with her husband.

Ai looked at the white-haired child beside her while smiling bitterly, but she still pulled both children to sit.

Hana and Ichika were very obedient; they sat nicely in their seats. After all, this was their ”Big Mother,” a figure that even their own biological mothers had to yield to.

Airi was holding a concert, so she entrusted her child to Ai. While Ichika’s mother (Ichinose Honami) just entrusted her child to Ai then left without a single word.

Ai asked Ichika beside her anxiously, ”Where did your mother actually go? Why hasn’t she returned yet?”

Ichika answered honestly, ”Mama went to help Mama Kikyō tidy up things.”

”Things?” Ai tilted her head confused.

”Yes~” Ichika swung her finger while smiling cheerfully. ”Recently Mama Kikyō imported medical equipment from abroad. Mama was afraid Mama Kikyō would be deceived, so she went to help supervise.”

Ai nodded in understanding. ”That’s right, since school days she was indeed a bit stupid, someone really needs to supervise her...”

At the Tournament Arena.

The top four had been selected, and the first match began.

The first contestant to go up was a young man with thick lips named Kabané.

The match started.

Kabané: LP 4000.

Ryunosuke: LP 4000.

Kabané got the first turn, ”Draw!”

”I summon Shell Knight in defense position!” (DEF 2000 / ATK 0).

”When Shell Knight is successfully summoned, the opponent takes 500 damage!” Kabané waved his hand.

”Shell Burst!!!”

Three snail shells on Shell Knight’s back shot out and hit Ryunosuke.

Ryunosuke’s LP: 3500.

”Then I set one card face-down, my turn ends.”

Ryunosuke’s turn.

”Draw!”

”From my hand I activate Polymerization! Fusing Burstinatrix and Avian in my hand! Appear! Elemental HERO Flame Wingman!!!” (ATK 2100).

”Attack! Flame Wingman!!!”

Flame Wingman jumped and attacked Shell Knight.

Shell Knight shattered into fragments. Ryunosuke said with a slightly regretful tone, ”Too bad your Shell Knight has zero ATK, I can’t activate Flame Wingman’s effect to give you damage equal to its ATK value. Really unfortunate...”

He ended his turn by setting two cards face-down.

Kabané sweated coldly and continued his strategy.

”My turn, Draw!”

”I activate Fossil Fusion from my hand!”

”I banish Rock-type monster, Shell Knight from my graveyard, and Burstinatrix from your graveyard to perform Fusion Summon! Fossil Warrior Skull Bone!” (ATK 2000).

”Then I pay half my LP to activate the spell card, Time Stream!”

Kabané’s LP: 4000 – 2000 = 2000.

”Performing reverse evolution on Skull Bone, appear, Fossil Warrior Skull Knight!” (ATK 2400).

”Attack! Skull Knight, destroy Flame Wingman!!!”

Skull Knight attacked with its machete. Ryunosuke waved his hand, activating Snake Life (modified effect/story original).

”This card discards one card to the graveyard to make this battle damage become zero. And when the turn ends, I recover LP equal to the damage that should have been received.”

Ryunosuke secretly discarded Neos to the graveyard to activate its effect. Flame Wingman was destroyed.

Ryunosuke’s LP: 3500 – 300 = 3200 + 600 = 3800.

Kabané hadn’t yet realized the seriousness of the situation, he thought his opponent was just dying and ended his turn with enthusiasm. Ryunosuke drew a card and issued a victory declaration.

”You no longer have a next turn.”

”Nani?” Kabané automatically stepped back.

Ryunosuke waved his hand dramatically. ”Reveal face-down card, Monster Reborn! Reviving Flame Wingman from the graveyard! Return to the battlefield! Flame Wingman!!!” (ATK 2100).

Kabané sneered. ”What can a monster with ATK 2100 do? My Skull Knight has ATK 2400.”

Ryunosuke smiled. ”I already said, you no longer have a turn.”

”I activate Polymerization from my hand, fusing Sparkman in my hand with Flame Wingman!”

”Appear! Elemental HERO Shining Flare Wingman!!!” (ATK 2500).

A pure white hero figure with white wings appeared in the arena.

”Effect of monster Shining Flare Wingman: he gains an additional 300 ATK for each monster named ’HERO’ in the graveyard.”

”Besides Burstinatrix which you banished from the game...”

”In my graveyard there are Avian, Sparkman, Flame Wingman, and Neos which I just discarded.”

”Total of 4 monsters, ATK increases by 1200 points!”

Shining Flare Wingman’s ATK: 3700!!!

”Then I activate field spell card, Skyscraper!”

”This card increases HERO monster ATK by 1000 points when attacking a monster with higher ATK.”

Shining Flare Wingman’s ATK: 4700!!!

Instantly the arena transformed into a skyscraper scenery.

”Then I activate spell card, Miracle Contact!”

”Returning Fusion materials from the field or graveyard to the deck to summon Neos Fusion monster!”

”I fuse Flame Wingman and Neos in the graveyard, appear! Elemental HERO Shining Neos Wingman!!!” ATK: 3100 / DEF: 2500.

”I activate Shining Neos Wingman’s special effect! Destroy one opponent’s card on the field!”

The opponent’s monster was instantly destroyed. On Ryunosuke’s side there were now two high-attack monsters.

Ryunosuke looked at Kabané and said: ”Hero deck has unlimited possibilities, as long as it doesn’t brick (get stuck)...”

”Attack!”

Both hero monsters charged together.

Kabané tried to activate his last face-down card in desperation. ”I activate trap card—”

”Don’t even think about it!” Ryunosuke interrupted. ”Reveal face-down card, Mystical Space Typhoon! Destroy your trap card! Accept this final attack!”

Kabané’s LP dropped to 0. He sat listlessly on the floor.

Ryunosuke won the match. The next three matches also ended with overwhelming victories in less than three turns.

He came out carrying Ai’s daughter on his shoulders. The gold trophy was held tightly by the daughter with pride.

Ryunosuke’s other two hands weren’t idle; one hand held Hana’s hand and the other held Ichika’s hand. Ai walked right behind her husband.

Ryunosuke went up to the award stage with the three children and their ”Big Mother.”

People below the stage spat on the ground, mocking the display of affection.

”What are you showing off?!”

”Only you have a wife and many children!!!”

All the spectators below... felt very envious.
