Journey to Planar World

Kato Residence – Residential Area

Currently, Megumi was in the kitchen, cooking for her husband and child.

Her appearance now hadn’t changed much compared to 10 years ago. The only change was her hair which now flowed long to her waist, no longer in a bob style. At the same time, she radiated the aura of a very graceful wife and mother.

Megumi tasted a bit of miso soup to check the flavor. After feeling it was right, she poured it into one large bowl and one small bowl, respectively for her husband and child. She brought both bowls of miso soup to the living room.

In the living room.

Ryunosuke was teaching his daughter to study. On his lap sat a short-haired little girl with a beret hat. The girl was like an exact copy of her mother; a mini version of Megumi, complete with a flat facial expression.

Kato Shizuka, daughter of Megumi and Ryunosuke. Unfortunately, she also inherited her mother’s characteristic, even worse. Outsiders couldn’t notice her presence at all. Only her father and mother could see her, and that was something to be grateful for.

Because of this reason, Shizuka couldn’t go to school. Because no one could observe her presence, no one could teach her. As a result, only Ryunosuke himself could step in.

The little one sat on her father’s lap very obediently, but she didn’t like to talk. That was the reason Ryunosuke gave her the name ”Shizuka” (Quiet/Calm).

Megumi came carrying two bowls of miso soup, placed them on the table, then looked at her husband.

”Rest for a moment, dear.”

While saying so, she took the child from Ryunosuke’s lap and sat her on her own lap. She blew on the miso soup until it cooled, then carefully spooned it into her daughter’s mouth.

”Aaa~”

Shizuka opened her small mouth and devoured it in one spoonful. Not hot at all.

Ryunosuke also put down his textbook, sat upright on the tatami, and enjoyed the breakfast prepared by his wife. Today was a rare day off, so he planned to accompany them all day.

Compared to other women, these two needed more companionship. Both Megumi and his daughter Shizuka, currently only he could fully observe them. He had to think more about their feelings and accompany them.

Megumi, who understood very well what her husband was thinking, showed a happy smile. She looked at her daughter in her arms—the fruit of love between her and Ryunosuke. She felt very fortunate for the decision she made back then.

”Really relieving~”

”If back then I hadn’t taken that step, maybe now I wouldn’t have a family as happy as this.”

Megumi stroked her daughter’s hair.

Shizuka saw her mother hadn’t drunk the miso soup yet, felt sorry. She scooped soup and directed it to her mother’s mouth.

”Mama~ open your mouth~”

Megumi smiled gently, tidied the strands of hair behind her ear, and obediently opened her mouth to accept the spoonful from her daughter.

Ryunosuke also scooped soup, leaned his body across the table, did the same thing as his daughter. Megumi’s cheeks puffed up, but she still accepted it happily. She chewed slowly while saying softly.

”Geez~ dear, you’re not a small child anymore, why must you imitate Shizuka.”

Ryunosuke pouted dissatisfied. ”But you still ate it anyway, right? What right do you have to comment on me?”

”Oh!”

Megumi spooned soup back into her husband’s mouth. ”Eat quickly, it’ll get cold.”

She deliberately rotated the spoon inside Ryunosuke’s mouth before pulling it out slowly, then sweetly licked that spoon with her small tongue.

Ryunosuke’s face immediately turned completely red. He felt like immediately carrying Megumi to the bedroom to make a second child.

Megumi was really too seductive! He couldn’t stand it anymore!!!

Ryunosuke stood up, intending to immediately execute the second child plan, but when he saw his daughter in his wife’s arms, he sat back down listlessly.

Megumi’s lips curved. Over the years, other skills might be average, but her ability to seduce her husband had reached maximum level. After all, she knew exactly what her husband was thinking.

Megumi’s soft voice sounded quietly. ”Tonight I’ll give you a chance~ but only two hours. More than that will disturb your work tomorrow...”

Ryunosuke clenched his fist, his face red with enthusiasm. He couldn’t wait for night to arrive to do ”dual cultivation” with his wife.

Shizuka who curled up in Megumi’s arms watched her parents alternately, then thought: (Finally will I have a younger brother or sister? That way I’ll have a playmate.)

Because she inherited the ”transparent” ability even better than her mother’s, aside from her half-sisters from the same father, almost no one noticed her. That’s why she couldn’t go to school. If there was a younger sibling to play with, she wouldn’t be bored at home.

Shizuka fantasized in her heart, but her surface remained flat without expression like her mother. She was very skilled at hiding her true emotions.

Ryunosuke looked at the clock on his phone. ”Let’s go to the amusement park. Now it’s 7:30, the amusement park opens at 8:30. We don’t need to wait long there.”

Megumi nodded, then took her daughter to change clothes. She herself also had to change clothes. While Ryunosuke didn’t fuss much, just a white shirt and jeans were enough.

Not long after, his wife and child were ready. The two matched wearing white dresses, red jackets, and matching small red shoes. This appearance was exactly like Megumi’s very beautiful figure under the falling cherry blossoms in the anime.

Ryunosuke carried his daughter and held a parasol for his wife so she wouldn’t get too hot.

In Megumi’s usually calm eyes, waves of happiness now radiated. She linked her husband’s arm and leaned her head on his shoulder.

The small family of three arrived at the amusement park at 8:13, 17 minutes before the gates opened.

Ryunosuke handed the parasol to Megumi and went to buy cold drinks for them.

He returned carrying two ice creams and three glasses of cold lemon tea. Ryunosuke gave one ice cream and lemon tea to his wife, then took over the parasol so Megumi could eat comfortably. Then he crouched down to give a portion to his daughter.

Shizuka looked at her mother’s ice cream then looked at her own. Realizing her father didn’t have any, she extended hers.

”Papa eat...”

Ryunosuke showed a fake disgusted expression. ”Papa hates sweet food the most. If you don’t want to eat it, Papa will just throw it away.”

Shizuka immediately pulled her hand back and started licking her ice cream quickly.

The tactic worked.

Megumi smiled helplessly and extended her own ice cream.

”Let’s share, dear~”

Ryunosuke pretended to be reluctant. ”I just used that trick to deceive our child... Is it appropriate for me to eat it now?”

Although saying so, his tongue had already started licking that ice cream.

As a long-time married couple, they didn’t care about indirect kisses; after all, they were intimate every night.

Megumi watched her husband’s movements calmly, her lips curved beautifully. Meanwhile below, Shizuka kept eating her ice cream without expression, as if afraid someone would snatch it, she devoured it quickly until she almost choked.

Once the gates opened, Ryunosuke and Megumi walked on the left and right sides, each holding hands with their daughter in the middle. But in outsiders’ eyes, the scene was very different.

In others’ eyes, Ryunosuke looked like a crazy person talking to thin air. His wife and child’s figures weren’t visible at all. The crowd began to get scared, some immediately called the police and the psychiatric hospital.

Soon, police and an ambulance from the psychiatric hospital came. Without much talk, they immediately labeled Ryunosuke as ”mentally ill,” handcuffed him, and took him away.

Ryunosuke held the window bars of the car, shouting to his wife and child. ”Wait for me to come home, my wife! My daughter! As usual, Papa will be back soon!”

The police officer in the driver’s seat shook his head. ”Really seriously ill... where did he get a wife and child?”

That officer looked through the center rearview mirror that the back seat was completely empty. He looked at him with pity then stepped on the gas.

Megumi watched flatly, as if already very accustomed. Her daughter was the same, calmly sipping her lemon tea.

*PLOP!*

The sound of the straw coming off the lips.

Shizuka pulled the edge of her mother’s clothes. ”Mama, when will Papa come home? This is already the 37th time Papa has been arrested.”

Megumi sighed. ”Maybe tonight he’ll be home. He has connections at the police station, should be released soon.”

”Oh~” Shizuka’s mood was clearly not too good.

Megumi carried her daughter into the amusement park to cheer up her gloomy heart. As for her husband, she wasn’t worried at all.

This was already the 37th time this happened every time they took their child for an outing. They were already used to it.

Meanwhile at the police station, Ryunosuke impatiently raised his leg onto the desk, staring sharply at the Police Chief before him.

That Police Chief was sweating coldly; they had already checked this man’s identity, and his influence was really extraordinarily large!

This wasn’t someone who could be offended by a small police chief like him.

The Police Chief smiled stiffly and immediately apologized.

Ryunosuke waved his hand impatiently. ”Never mind, I can go now, right? If I don’t get home quickly, I’ll miss my wife’s dinner.”

”Of course, of course! I’ll immediately release you!” That Police Chief bowed respectfully and ordered his subordinates to escort him home personally, or they would all be fired.
