Immortality Begins with Breathing Exercises

Chapter 177: Chapter 93: Discovery (2)

Placing the torch in the corner of the cave, Lin Zheyu began his training.

Within his body, Qi blood surged as he executed the Golden Swan Skill combined with Wild Bull Fist, causing gusts of wind to howl inside the cave.

Time passed slowly.

After more than three hours, Lin Zheyu leaned against the wall, breathing heavily, with his entire muscles trembling slightly.

After resting for about ten minutes and refining a few strands of Qi blood strength, he finally recovered.

”Let’s begin the enhancement!”

Lin Zheyu said to himself.

In front of him was a rough wooden basin made from a thick tree trunk, filled with water, with six packets of Blood-Nourishing and Bone-Strengthening Soup powder placed inside.

The Mountain Shattering Palm doesn’t significantly enhance the body, mostly making the arms more suitable for that unique Qi and Blood Burst Skill, so it doesn’t require much energy.

Lin Zheyu estimated that he would not need three doses of Blood-Nourishing and Bone-Strengthening Soup herbs. However, for safety, he used six doses.

The extra medicinal power is mainly used to restore the body’s Qi blood.

Every time he used Source Power to enhance, as long as the medicinal power was sufficient, he could recover to the body’s peak.

Although the Dabashan seemed harmless, it was still safer to maintain a peak state at all times in the wild.

’Use one unit of Source Power to enhance the Mountain Shattering Palm.’

Lin Zheyu sat cross-legged on the ground, sending out the thought.

In an instant, the familiar sensation struck, his spirit blurred for a moment, and he entered a unique consciousness space.

Inside, Lin Zheyu started his relentless cultivation.

In the consciousness space, he practiced the Mountain Shattering Palm without restraint, not worrying about inflicting major damage on his body.

The advantage of enhancing with Source Power is not worrying about improper martial training causing body damage or leaving hidden injuries.

In the consciousness space, his body recovery speed was astonishingly fast, and the damage from fully using the Mountain Shattering Palm was completely healed in less than two breaths.

With his crazy and relentless cultivation, Lin Zheyu’s mastery of the Qi and Blood Burst Skill became increasingly proficient.

The progress of the Mountain Shattering Palm rose rapidly from entry-level to proficient, then quickly from proficient to Minor Achievement, finally stopping at 77% of Minor Achievement.

Meanwhile, mysterious energy surged from the depths of his cells, drawing the medicinal power in the wooden basin, while restoring Qi blood strength, it also transformed the muscles and skin of his arms.

Under the transformation and strengthening of the mysterious energy, his arms did not increase in strength, but they became increasingly resilient.

Able to withstand more powerful bursts of strength.

After a few breaths, Lin Zheyu opened his eyes and withdrew from the consciousness space.

[Heavenly Dao Rewards Diligence]

Name: Lin Zheyu

Source Power: 0

Skills:

Six Harmonies Blade (Great Success 46%)

Mountain Shattering Palm (Minor Achievement 77%)

Golden Swan Skill (Eighth Layer 48%)

Turtle Breath Skill (Third Layer 5%)

”Indeed, it takes three units of Source Power to enhance the Mountain Shattering Palm to perfection.”

Lin Zheyu looked at the progress in his consciousness and said to himself.

Two units of Source Power could almost enhance the Mountain Shattering Palm to near perfection at Great Success, but to achieve perfection, one more unit of Source Power is needed.

Lin Zheyu stood up and clenched his arms, the muscles on his arms bulging.

He noticed a slight difference in his arms; when fully exploding, the bulging muscles were slightly smaller than before, appearing to have shrunk.

He walked out of the cave and stood before a large tree.

Boom.

Crack!

Lin Zheyu suddenly punched, and terrifying power exploded as his fist penetrated through the trunk.

He used no Qi blood strength in this punch, purely relying on physical strength.

After reaching the Qi Blood Tiger Realm, his body had become increasingly powerful under the nurturing of strong Qi blood, far surpassing what a Martial Artist at the Refining Internal Organ Realm could match.

”The strength is about the same as before.”

After the test, Lin Zheyu said to himself.

After enhancement with Source Power, his muscles, skin, and bones were further perfected, with density increased significantly.

”Let’s test the power of the Mountain Shattering Palm.”

Infusing Qi blood into his right arm, and stimulating it with the Qi and Blood Burst Skill of the Mountain Shattering Palm, immense Qi blood power burst forth in his arm instantly.

Boom!

The palm struck the trunk, and the entire trunk exploded, turning into flying wood chips scattered everywhere.

”So strong, at least about 1.8 times the previous full burst!”

Lin Zheyu was quite pleased with the power of this palm.

He was only at Minor Achievement now; when the Mountain Shattering Palm is practiced to perfection, it would unleash triple the Qi blood strength!

Boom boom boom!

Lin Zheyu struck with both hands using the Mountain Shattering Palm together.

Huge booming sounds continued to echo, trees falling one by one, startling the beasts around into fleeing.

After executing twelve palms in a row, six from each hand, Lin Zheyu finally felt intense pain in his arms.

”Not bad, the effect of Source Power is much stronger than expected.”

”If fully stimulated, one arm could execute up to eight palms, more than doubling the three palms mentioned in the secret manual.”

Lin Zheyu was very satisfied with this improvement.

Especially as the Mountain Shattering Palm was enhanced, his arms were also fortified by mysterious energy; though the strength didn’t increase, they became more resilient.

This gave him hope in making this Qi and Blood Burst Skill a regular technique.

After testing the power of the Mountain Shattering Palm, Lin Zheyu returned to the cave.

The medicinal powder in the wooden basin still emitted a strong medicinal fragrance, indicating that much medicinal power remained.

Lin Zheyu sniffed, noticing the remaining medicinal aroma emitted was slightly weaker than that of one dose of Blood-Nourishing and Bone-Strengthening Soup herb.

”The six doses of herbs were too much; five would have sufficed,” Lin Zheyu said to himself.
