Picking Up a Gorgeous CEO for a Wife

170: Chapter 0170: Misdiagnosis 170: Chapter 0170: Misdiagnosis Although Qin Yu had successfully brought Cheng Yan out of her comatose state, he did not relax— he knew this was merely the beginning!

Swish, swish, the assistants sprang into action, converting the operating table to the lithotomy position.

Qin Yu stepped forward to carefully inspect Cheng Yan’s bleeding point.

“Dr.

Qin, we’ve just re-examined and believe that Miss Cheng’s bleeding is due to uterine atony, resulting in the blood vessels on the placental abruption site being unable to contract and close off, leading to diffuse and excessive bleeding.”

Qin Yu nodded, approached personally, opened up the cesarean section incision, and started his careful inspection.

With just one look, Qin Yu’s complexion turned extremely unsightly as he angrily exclaimed, “You performed a placental removal surgery in advance?

Who allowed you to do that?

You realize you are committing murder?

Do you understand?”

Murder?

Qin Yu’s shout left everyone stunned!

Especially He Jinjin, who said in a trembling voice, “Dr.

Qin, the patient had placenta previa, and without removing the placenta, it would not have detached!”

“Nonsense!

This is not placenta previa; it’s a misdiagnosis!” Qin Yu proclaimed emphatically, with absolute certainty!

Whoosh…

Qin Yu’s words created an uproar!

The entire observation room was in an uproar!

Misdiagnosis?

Qiao Anran’s gaze turned cold instantly, and she gave Gao Pengfei an expressionless glance, her look clearly questioning, “Your Luo City First Hospital is quite something, eh?

Daring to misdiagnose my Yan’er?”

Director Gao’s body shivered as he frantically pressed the voice communication button, his voice boominging into the operating room,

“Dr.

Qin, please mind your language!

How could it be a misdiagnosis?

Miss Cheng had her ultrasound at Capital City’s main hospital, and their ultrasounds have never been wrong!

The diagnostic result was placenta previa!

It’s quite normal for us to perform a placenta previa removal surgery!”

Qiao Anran’s expression eased somewhat, indeed, her daughter had undergone an ultrasound at the Capital City main hospital, and the result was placenta previa.

Since Luo City First Hospital’s obstetrics and gynecology department was most professional in performing placenta previa removal surgery, they chose to give birth there.

Hearing Gao Pengfei’s voice, Qin Yu hesitated.

Qin Yu turned back to look in the direction of the camera and asked without expression, “Director Gao, may I ask, what month did Miss Cheng have her ultrasound at the Capital City main hospital?”

Gao Pengfei looked at Qiao Anran, who took out the ultrasound report from her bag, glanced at it, and said, “The ultrasound was performed in March of this year.”

Qin Yu nodded, his expression revealing a ‘just as I suspected’ look, “My guess is correct, Director Gao, I am sure and certain that this is absolutely a misdiagnosis, Miss Cheng does not have placenta previa but a presenting placental condition!”

“Dr.

Qin, you are not only insulting our Luo City First Hospital but also the Capital City main hospital!

You will be held responsible for your words!”

Gao Pengfei was furious!

Misdiagnosis?

If Old Qiao knew about the misdiagnosis in their hospital, could he even continue his career?

Qin Yu calmly explained, “Director Gao, of course, I will take responsibility for my words.

In March, Miss Cheng was only in the middle stage of pregnancy.

During the middle stage, you cannot confirm placenta previa!

As the pregnancy progresses, the presenting placenta might gradually move upward and return to the normal position!”

Qin Yu’s words were powerful, making big beads of sweat appear on Gao Pengfei’s forehead.

Gao Pengfei cast a complicated look at Li Dongyue, recalling how Li Dongyue had once suggested to him whether they should do another ultrasound before surgery?
