”Why did Yumei suddenly decide to leave? Hasnʼt your relationship with her improved since yesterday?” Murong Qianying asked as soon as Zhang Xiaolong [3] opened his eyes.

”Hehe.” Zhang Xiaolong [3] chuckled and sat Murong Qianying on his lap. ”Why are you reacting like this, Aunt? Big Sis has already accepted me as her man, so you donʼt need to be like this. She has to help her master nourish her soul, and I can help her reform her body faster. However, my soul power is still too low, so she went to other realms to find resources for our souls.”

After hearing that, Murong Qianying felt a sense of relief, but Hong Xinxin immediately spoke to Zhang Xiaolong [3]. ”We have been having fun for the past three days, so we must start your training.”

”All right.”

After he told Wu Lanzhi that he had to practice, Zhang Xiaolong [3] led the two women to the bathroom, and Hong Xinxin poured several bottles of her liquid into the wooden tub after he got in.

After sleeping for a few hours, Shang Yumei finally opened her eyes. She suddenly heard a loud noise outside, the sound of womenʼs voices echoing all around. She hurried out of bed and left the main building, but she was stunned when she arrived outside and saw so many women, both old and young, in the residence.

”Finally awake?”

Shang Yumei turned to Zhang Chen, who was approaching her. ”Who are you?”

”Haha.” Zhang Chen softly laughed and took Shang Yumeiʼs arm. ”My name is Zhang Chen, and your man is my grandson.”

”Eh?” Zhang Chenʼs similar appearance to a woman in her twenties or thirties took Shang Yumei aback for a moment. ”Are you really Zhang Feiʼs grandmother?”

”I am his grandmother, and my youthful appearance is a result of his pills.” Zhang Chen took Shang Yumei to walk. ”Feiʼer must not have told you about us, given that you two were originally enemies. All of us are his wives, partners, and families. Although your cultivation and status are higher than ours, you are his future wife, so you are part of this big family now. Therefore, I hope you can familiarize yourself with them, and you will like them.”

”Yeah.” Shang Yumei then looked at the people in the residence, and Zhang Chen told her about their identities one by one. Unlike her usual cold and rude attitude, she looked gentle and listened attentively. ”Honestly, they are much better than my family, Grandma.”

”Why is that?”

Shang Yumei let out a heavy sigh before telling Zhang Chen. ”My family is cold, and I have never felt the warmth of a family like theirs. My fatherʼs and motherʼs clans only care about their ambitions. In their eyes, children are just political tools to develop their clans, and they will not hesitate to use us to fulfill their ambitions. My mother even considered giving me to Shang Huaqiang, given his significant power and influence within our realm. Thatʼs why I fled from our realm, and I was fortunate to meet my master during my escape.”

”I see.” Zhang Chen nodded in understanding and took Shang Yumei to sit on a garden bench. ”Such a life does not only occur in cultivator clans, but such things often occur in ordinary human families.”

”Hmm?” Shang Yumei turned to Zhang Chen. ”Were all of you ordinary humans before, Grandma?”

Zhang Chen nodded and pointed at some people in the distance, and Shang Yumei followed the direction. ”All of them are our main family, and we came from a realm without Qi. In fact, we never knew that cultivators were real, and we only know them from fictional stories. However, many things changed after Feiʼer died, and—”

”Huh? Did Zhang Fei really die before? How could he come back to life?” Shang Yumei was shocked to hear that.

Zhang Chen explained directly. ”Feiʼer died once because of someone, but that person brought him back to life. However, he came back to life not only as a human, but he had two other identities.”

”A heavenly fox and a lust demon.”

”Yes.” Zhang Chen then continued. ”Feiʼer doesnʼt know the identity of that person or how that person was able to revive him and make him have three identities, but the incident was a blessing for all of us. From then on, we started to know cultivators and cultivation, and we eventually became cultivators.”

”If there is no Qi in your realm, how can you all become cultivators, Grandma?” Shang Yumei curiously asked.

”Has Feiʼer told you about the Sky Jade Realm?” Shang Yumei nodded to Zhang Chen. ”Feiʼerʼs beast identity gave him the ability to move realms, and he went to that realm to begin his path of cultivation. At first, he ventured there by himself, and he started bringing us there after he met some of his wives from the Chu Clan.”

Zhang Chen then shared a few more details with Shang Yumei at Zhang Feiʼs request, particularly because he wanted his future wife to know them.

After Zhang Chen finished telling her story, Shang Yumei asked her. ”How long has Zhang Fei been a cultivator, Grandma?”

”Eight months based on the time flow in the cultivation world.” Zhang Chenʼs answer shocked Shang Yumei and Huli Yaohu. After all, they were both experienced cultivators and had seen much in the universe; Zhang Feiʼerʼs cultivation speed was simply too unbelievable to them. ”I donʼt know about other cultivatorsʼ cultivation speeds, but Feiʼer became strong so quickly thanks to his wives and partners, who are deeply loyal to him.”

”Grandma, I know too many dual cultivators, but none of them can cultivate as fast as Zhang Fei, who could reach the 3-Star Earth Realm in just 8 months.” Shang Yumei once again let out a heavy sigh. ”Moreover, all of you previously lived in the lower realms, and I know for sure that the quality of Qi there is poor, so his cultivation is extremely fast. If he stayed in the upper realms, he would probably have reached the Seven Divine Realms by now. However, he will provoke the jealousy of too many people, and they will kill him.”

”Youʼre right.” Zhang Chen nodded in agreement. ”Feiʼer could have taken us to the upper realm now, but he is fully aware of his abilities. Thatʼs why he didnʼt rush to take us there and instead brought us here, and he will take us there when she is truly ready.”

”Actually, the Qi in these middle realms is still beneficial to cultivators at his level, so Zhang Fei doesnʼt need to rush to the upper realms. If he tries to force his way there with his current strength, he wonʼt be able to do anything. The harsh situation there will force him to live in hiding, just as he did in the Wasteland Realm.” Shang Yumeiʼs gaze suddenly shifted to a woman who had just arrived, and her expression turned to shock after she realized her identity. ”Grandma, isnʼt she the princess of the phoenix race, Feng Yao? How did he know her? Is she also one of his wives?”

”Hehe.” Zhang Chen chuckled. ”She is indeed Feng Yao, but she is not his wife yet. Feiʼer knew her from Zhang Lingxue, and she has helped us a lot up until today. If it werenʼt for her help, Feiʼer wouldnʼt have been able to stop Shang Huaqiang, and he would have successfully invaded the Sky Jade Realm with the help of those demons.”

ʼThat kid is indeed lustful! He even targeted the Phoenix Princess as his wife!ʼ Shang Yumei murmured in her heart, but Feng Yao abruptly moved in front of them, making her feel anxious and tense.

Zhang Chen then stood up from her seat. ”I have to prepare some things for Feiʼerʼs marriage with Xian Xianqin, so Iʼll leave you guys to talk.”

”Princess Feng, I—”

”You donʼt have to say anything.” Feng Yao interrupted Shang Yumei with a shake of her head. ”Since Zhang Fei brought you here, it means that he has already trusted you and chosen you as his woman. You should not betray his trust, or you will suffer yourself, especially since he is far more vicious than many people, even surpassing Shang Huaqiang.”

”Is he really that vicious?” After all, Shang Yumei didnʼt know Zhang Fei at all, and she only knew his sexual abilities.

Feng Yao nodded at her. ”Heʼs not only vicious, but heʼs also extremely cunning, and he doesnʼt hesitate to use any means to achieve his goals, including exploiting all his enemies. Even you and your mother fell into his trap, right?”

”Haha.” Shang Yumei laughed bitterly after Feng Yao mentioned it. ”You are right, Princess Feng. Zhang Fei is indeed extremely cunning; he managed to deceive experienced cultivators like my mother and Hong Xinxin, and I also foolishly fell into his trap. Can you tell me more about him?”

”Honestly, I still donʼt know Zhang Fei very well, so I can only give you a little bit of an idea about him. If you want to know more about him, you can talk to all his wives and partners.” Feng Yao then sat down next to Shang Yumei. ”He will be kind and gentle to those who choose to be his friends, but he will show his cruel and merciless side to his enemies. In the Sky Jade Realm, he had destroyed several clans that were hostile to him; he did not even hesitate to ask his people to slaughter all the heretics there, especially since they threatened the safety of those closest to him.”

”How many people have died at his hands?”

”Thousands.” Feng Yaoʼs answer stunned Shang Yumei, especially since Zhang Fei was still so young and had not been a cultivator for long. ”When he is ready, he will definitely go to the Red Sun Realm, and the Shang Clan will probably be wiped out by then.”

”Is he really going to kill them all?” Shang Yumei inquired, her expression filled with disbelief.

”One hundred percent.” Feng Yao replied with a serious nod. ”Zhang Feiʼs principles are very strict; he will never compromise against his enemies, and he will destroy them down to their roots so that their descendants will not bring him trouble in the future.”

Shang Yumei took a deep breath after hearing Feng Yao say that. ”Does Zhang Fei also want to destroy the Murong and Hong Clans?”

”I donʼt think Zhang Fei will destroy both clans, especially since he is enjoying his time with your mother and Hong Xinxin.” Shang Yumei felt strange hearing that, as she did not expect that Zhang Fei would tell Feng Yao that. ”He has the ambition to build his organization in all three realms, so he needs many strong cultivators by his side. In my opinion, he will use the two women to control the two clans, and he will merge them into his organization. His ambition may be too lofty for others, but I believe he will succeed in realizing it, and the situation in all realms will change greatly by then.”

”Youʼre right.” Shang Yumei did not deny it. ”Even though I still donʼt know clearly about his character and abilities, I have experienced quite a bit of his schemes, so I believe he can do that. The Murong and Hong clans may not be as big as the Shang Clan, but they are still strong, and they will be useful to his organization. Moreover, he is Hun Diʼs disciple, and his support is one of the best.”

”Yeah.” Feng Yao then pushed Shang Yumei to her feet. ”You are Zhang Feiʼs future wife, so you should join his wives, and you can learn a lot about him from them.”

Shang Yumei nodded and walked over to Zhang Lin and the others. Despite their prior knowledge of her intention to control their husband, Zhang Feiʼs decision to include her in his main harem had changed the situation, leading them to welcome her with open arms, much to her relief.

After a week of flying, the group of cultivators from the Wasteland Realm finally arrived at the Blossom Heaven Realm, and the arrival of the two flying artifacts alerted the residents of the realm.

Ma Mingxin, who was sitting outside her house, immediately looked up at them. ”What actually happened? Why did so many cultivators from the upper realm suddenly flock to this realm? What was really hidden in the Sun Tower? Why did they all go there?”

After she considered it for a while, Ma Mingxin immediately gathered the strongest female cultivators in her Ma Clan. However, she did not immediately lead them to the Sun Tower, waiting for the two groups to enter first.

Meanwhile, the two flying artifacts had landed in front of the Sun Tower. Hun Di immediately led his group to descend from his flying artifact, with the second group following closely behind.

However, Hun Di suddenly sensed an aura, no less powerful than his own, moving rapidly into the realm from outside. ”Your master has arrived, Little Mengxin.”

”Senior Hun, my master rushed over here because he didnʼt want you to leave him behind.” Murong Mengying smiled as she saw a small flying artifact that looked like a flying capsule, but its speed was extremely fast, surpassing the speed of Hun Diʼs flying artifact.

In a few minutes, the small flying capsule landed in front of them, and a black-haired man in his thirties stepped out of it. The man was Murong Mengyingʼs master, Xia Tian. Despite his young appearance, he was actually an old monster like Hun Di, and his aura even forced young cultivators like Qiao Liangren and the others to hold their breath.

Unlike the calm Hun Di, Xia Tian looked serious and fierce, and the look in his eyes was as sharp as an eagleʼs. His body was tall and muscular, yet numerous scars, including those on his face, accentuated his terrifying appearance.

”Old Tian, you—”

Xia Tian ignored Hun Di and moved directly in front of Murong Mengying before picking her up like a little girl and throwing her into the air several times. ”Hahaha! I missed you so much, little daughter.”

Shang Yingyue and the others were taken aback by Xia Tianʼs behavior, particularly since it contradicted his frightening appearance, leaving them to question his true character.

”Haha.” Murong Mengying laughed happily at her masterʼs treatment. ”You really arenʼt a loving old father; you went adventuring to the far reaches of the universe and forgot about your little daughter. If I didnʼt tell you about this Sun Tower, I might have to wait hundreds or even thousands of years for you to return.”

Those who were familiar with Murong Mengyingʼs character stared at her in astonishment, particularly because her behavior was completely different from her usual behavior. Shang Yingyue then turned to Qiao Liangren, but he responded to her with a helpless shrug.

Xia Tian immediately put Murong Mengying on the ground and gave her a warm hug for a while before letting her go. ”I was too absorbed in my adventure, and I found many new interesting places, so I forgot to come back. However, I didnʼt expect that you would find out about this Sun Tower before me, and I really hope that this tower is the key to going to those places.”

”I found out about this tower by chance, Old Father.” Murong Mengying then turned her head towards the tower before continuing. ”You donʼt have to doubt that this tower is the key, but we can only find out the answer after we reach the top, and I think we have to try really hard to get there.”

”You believe in that man, huh?”

”Yes.”

Xia Tian then embraced Murong Mengyingʼs shoulders. ”Tell me, little daughter. Is that man my future son-in-law?”

”Huh?” Murong Mengying turned to Xia Tian in a daze. ”Why do you think like that?”

”Heh!” Xia Tian snorted softly. ”Even though Iʼm not your biological father, I raised you from a young age, remember? I know you inside out, so I believe that man is my future son-in-law.”
