Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 532: Devour Two Duke Demons

*Swoosh*

With a faint smile, Zhang Fei [4] threw the bloodthirsty fang blade forward as the vampire lord approached him, but Elijah immediately flew to avoid it, his expression filled with shock. ”Are you curious about how I knew your location? You might be able to ambush other demons with your invisibility, but your ability is just a mere child trick in my eyes.

Thatʼs why you can get out now, especially since I can easily detect your whereabouts.”

Elijah did not respond or show himself, but instead, he glared at Zhang Fei [4] from a distance away and wondered about his abilities.

ʼHeh! This brat must be bragging! Even King Oxgorth and the others couldnʼt find me when I used my invisibility and inaudibility abilities.ʼ Just as Elijah was about to move to attack Zhang Fei [4], the bloodthirsty fang blade suddenly shot toward him once again. Although he was able to dodge it easily, it gave him another shock, and his doubts about his abilities lessened a little. ʼDamn it!

Can he really detect my presence? How did he do that?ʼ

”As I said, I can tell you whereabouts easily.”

Hearing Zhang Fei [4]ʼs voice from behind, Elijah immediately turned around and thrust his claws forward, but his attack pierced through empty air, so he immediately flew away.

Zhang Fei [4] had already moved behind the vampire lord with his right hand enveloped in his darkness element, but he also mixed his light element into it before punching the back of Elijahʼs head.

”Guah!” Elijah screamed as his body shot toward the building in front of him.

*Swoosh*

Elijah flew high into the dark sky just before his body smashed into the building, but Zhang Fei [4] immediately moved above him, which shocked the vampire lord.

Zhang Fei [4]ʼs right leg was already raised and covered in his darkness element, and he smiled faintly before swinging it towards the vampire lord. His attack was simply too fast even for a duke demon like Elijah, and his leg swiftly struck his head, sending him to the ground.

Unlike Orith and Balena, who had previously trained with Zhang Fei [4], Zilvora froze in her spot as she looked at him with a shocked gaze. ʼWhat the hell with that kid? His speed is too absurd! King Levi is the fastest among us demon kings and queens, but I feel that his speed is still far below his. Moreover, I canʼt see Elijah even with my eight eyes, but he can see and attack him.ʼ

Naturally, no demon from the Netherworld Realm could match Zhang Fei [4]ʼs speed after he fully adapted to sixteen times heavier gravity, especially since none of them were demon cultivators. As for Elijahʼs whereabouts, he has the system map, and it can track him easily.

*Boom*

The loud explosion shocked the demons in Lust City, but they couldnʼt see Elijahʼs figure due to his invisibility, and they could only see the ground beneath him sinking quite deeply. The vampire lord immediately wiped the blood from his mouth as he looked at Zhang Fei [4], who was casually standing in the sky. ʼDamn it!

That brat is just a marquis demon, but his attack speed is much faster than that of demon kings or queens. What kind of attacks did he use on me earlier? Why did his attacks cause me so much pain?ʼ

”Honestly, we didnʼt have any problems before, but you made a fatal mistake by agreeing to Yhrerʼs request to capture me, so you are my enemy now.” Hearing that, the demons below immediately looked up at Zhang Fei [4], who had already raised his right hand. ”Since you still donʼt want to show yourself, Iʼll force you to come out.”

In that instant, an etheral giant black claw appeared above Zhang Fei [4], and he immediately released his cultivation to press down on Elijah, causing the hole beneath the vampire lord to deepen.

*Crack... Crack...*

ʼUgh!ʼ Elijahʼs body slowly lowered, and Zhang Fei [4]ʼs pressure forced him almost to his knees, but he immediately released his demon power to fight back. ʼDamn it! Iʼm a duke demon, but a marquis rank demon like him can suppress me this much!ʼ

The demons, who were right below Zhang Fei [4], immediately scattered and fled from that area as soon as the black claw glided toward Elijah.

ʼFuck!ʼ Elijah cursed and released his full demon power, and he hurriedly flew away after breaking free from Zhang Fei [4]ʼs pressure. He was sure that his enemy would not be able to protect himself after using such a strong attack, so he flew at full speed to attack him.

*Boom*

Elijah was relieved when the black hand hit the ground, but he misjudged Zhang Fei [4]. His attack went through his body, which was just an illusion created by his clone illusion steps. ʼShit!ʼ

”You may be a demon duke, but you are still not my opponent.”

The vampire lord grew tense as four of Zhang Fei [4]ʼs illusion clones appeared around him, but he immediately unleashed a shockwave that instantly spread in all directions at once.

*Swoosh*

Elijahʼs shockwave instantly caused the four Zhang Fei [4]ʼs illusion clones to vanish, but the vampire lord scowled as the other four illusion clones immediately reappeared in their original locations.

”Hey! Elion! How much longer are you going to play around with him? You should capture him now, so we can have sex again.”

Elijah immediately turned to Orith, but his expression turned pale as soon as he saw Queen Zilvora standing beside the succubus duchess. Without thinking twice, he immediately flew in another direction to leave the city. ʼShit! Yhrer deliberately set me up! He didnʼt tell me that the spider queen was on this damn demonʼs side!ʼ

Zhang Fei [4] naturally wouldnʼt let his prey escape from him, and he summoned the demon extermination sword. ”I need him alive, old friend.”

*Zing... Zing...*

The demon extermination sword answered its master with a strong vibration before shooting towards the vampire lord, and it was not difficult for it to attack him, especially since it connected with Zhang Fei [4] directly.

*Slash... Slash...*

”Guah!” The demon extermination sword slashed Elijah a few times, severing his two wings from his back, causing him to scream in pain. His invisibility instantly disappeared as his body slid towards the ground, and his blood rained down on the area below him.

The demons, who were watching from afar, were completely shocked to see Elijah rendered totally helpless by Zhang Fei [4], and his condition was truly pathetic.

*Boom*

Elijah slammed onto the ground with a loud bang, and fresh black blood spurted out of his mouth. The demon extermination sword shot towards him immediately, piercing his chest, but it deliberately avoided his vital organs because Zhang Fei wanted him alive. ”Argh!”

Zhang Fei [4] immediately landed in front of Elijah and pressed the demon extermination sword down, causing the vampire lord to suffer even more pain. Orith, Zilvora, and Bale immediately moved to their side.

”Spare... me... please... spare me... Queen Zilvora.”

Zilvora shook her head at Elijah and gestured toward Zhang Fei [4]. ”I am not your enemy, but he is, so you can beg him to spare you.”

”Haha.” Orith laughed and hugged Zhang Fei [4]ʼs arm. ”Unfortunately, my darling will never spare his enemies, so you donʼt need to waste your energy begging him. If only you hadnʼt acted stupidly by plotting with Yhrer, then you would never have experienced a day like this, so you can blame that idiot incubus lord for your fate.”

*Bam*

Before Elijah could beg him, Yhrer was suddenly thrown onto his side in a chained state, which shocked him further.

Cain, who was walking towards them, immediately spoke to Zhang Fei [4]. ”I have completed your request, and he is yours now.”

Zhang Fei [4] nodded and threw a small bag containing some bloodstones to Cain, which he immediately accepted with a broad smile.

Huan Ning, who was standing behind Cain along with the two women, was immediately shocked as soon as she recognized Zhang Fei [4]. Instantly, her anger overflowed because he sent her to the Netherworld Realm, and she had to suffer a lot from being the toy of the incubus lord.

Huan Ning suddenly shivered and swallowed back her anger as Zhang Fei [4] enveloped her with his killing intent. ʼYou better shut your mouth, or Iʼll make you suffer more than before.ʼ

Cain raised his eyebrows slightly as he sensed Zhang Fei [4]ʼs killing intent, but he only glanced at Huan Ning. ”Since my business is done, I will take women back to my mansion, and you can contact me again if you need anything else.”

”Bastard! You set me up! You didnʼt tell me that Queen Zilvora and Prince Cain were on his side!” Elijah furiously shouted at Yhrer.

Yhrer didnʼt say anything in response to Elijah, but instead, he glared at Zhang Fei [4] as if he wanted to swallow him alive.

”Itʼs useless for you to look at me like that, you know? I never bothered you, but you yourself are looking for trouble with me by intending to get rid of me.” Zhang Fei [4] then crouched down beside Yhrer and grabbed his head. ”Since you are a lust demon lord, I wonʼt kill you so easily, and your demon power will be mine.”

”Argh!” Yhrerʼs groan of pain immediately echoed throughout Lust City as Zhang Fei [4] used the devouring ability, which he mimicked from Ursula, to absorb his demon power and life force. ”Argh!”

Elijah was truly horrified to see Yhrerʼs body gradually drying out. Even Zilvora, Orith, and Balena were horrified to see Zhang Fei [4]ʼs actions against the incubus lord. ʼWhat an overbearing evil ability!ʼ

Zhang Fei [4] looked very satisfied as he sensed Yhrerʼs demon power and life force flowing into his body. Mei informed him that the essence he needed for his demon rank to rise to the duke rank was decreasing faster and faster.

Zhang Fei [4] immediately accelerated his action of absorbing Yhrerʼs demon power and life force, causing his body to dry out even faster than before. The incubus lord endured a full hour of torture before his body completely dried up, leaving only his skeleton and skin.

Zilvora, Orith, and Balena held their breath as they were truly horrified to see Yhrer die so horribly.

[Ding]

[You gained 6,000.000 demon essences.]

[Master, another five million demon essences, and you will evolve into a lust demon lord.]

”No... No... I donʼt want to die... please... donʼt kill me; I will never bother you again!” With an expression filled with horror, Elijah begged him when Zhang Fei [4] looked at him.

Zhang Fei [4] naturally did not listen to Elijahʼs pleas, especially since he had waited too long to evolve. He immediately grabbed his head and used the devouring ability, causing the vampire lord to struggle and scream extremely loudly, much louder than the incubus lordʼs previous screams. ”Argh! Stop! I donʼt want to die!”

ʼThis kid is really crazy! Heʼs an incubus, but he has so many abilities from other demons. Fortunately, he didnʼt use that ability on me, or else I would have died long ago.ʼʼ Zilvora muttered to herself as she watched Elijah, who continued to be tormented by Zhang Fei [4]ʼs action.

Even though she was horrified by all of this, Orith smiled widely as she imagined Zhang Fei [4] evolving into a lust demon lord like her because he would gain many new abilities after he completed his evolution, most of which were related to sex. ʼHehehe! Heʼs already too strong in bed; heʼll be even stronger after this, and I can have more intense sex with him.ʼ

On the other hand, Balena kept turning her face to the side as Zhang Fei [4]ʼs actions were too vicious, and she felt that no other demon was more cruel than him.

[Master, Elijahʼs demon power and life force are stronger than Yhrerʼs, so itʼs certain that you will evolve into a lust demon lord after this.]

Two hours later, Elijahʼs groans of pain finally died down, especially since he had followed Yhrer to hell.

[Ding]

[You gained 8,000.000 demon essences.]

[Congratulations! The hostʼs demon rank has been upgraded to Duke Rank.]

[Do you want to evolve into a lust demon lord now?]

Zhang Fei [4] did not immediately respond to the system. Instead, he reinserted the demon extermination sword into his body and used his black flames to burn the remains of Yhrer and Elijah. ”Letʼs go back; I will evolve now.”

”Letʼs go! Iʼll accompany you through your evolution.” Orith spoke as she pulled Zhang Fei [4] along with her.

”Elion, Iʼll go back to my city now, and Iʼll come back here in a few days.” Zhang Fei[4] simply nodded, and Zilvora immediately flew away, leaving Lust City.

Balena let out a heavy sigh as she looked at the black flames, but she immediately turned around and rushed into the succubi tower to watch Zhang Fei [3]ʼs evolution.

The other demons quickly gathered at the battle site, and they wondered about Zhang Fei [4]ʼs true identity and abilities. However, one female demon in their midst smiled widely, and she was none other than Xenaya, the caretaker of the Lust Inn. ʼHehe! Yhrer is gone now, and Elion will soon evolve.

Furthermore, with Lady Orith and Queen Zilvora at his side, he is poised to become the next leader of this city.ʼ

Once they reached the room, Zhang Fei [4] immediately responded to the system, initiating his evolution process.

[Ding.]

[The hostʼs evolution process has begun.]

A black ball instantly engulfed Zhang Fei [4]ʼs body, floating it into mid-air as his demon power steadily increased.

”How long will it take for him to evolve?” Balena inquired, her gaze fixed on the black ball.

Orith shook her head at Balena. ”Every demonʼs evolution is different, so I canʼt say for sure. Back then, Thish took a month to evolve, and Ilsath was faster than her by about two weeks. As for me, my evolution was split into two, and each took a month, so two months in total.”

”How could your evolution be split into two?” Instead, Orith shrugged in response to Balena, especially since she herself was not sure of the cause. ”Despite his casual and carefree attitude, he actually harbors such a vicious nature. Every ability has its side effects, and Iʼm sure that the side effects of his previous ability were very bad because it was too overbearing.”

Orith nodded in agreement to Balena. ”Iʼm glad that Elion will evolve soon, but Iʼm afraid heʼll turn into a heartless demon if he keeps using that ability to increase his demon rank, so I hope he wonʼt use it too much. If he turns into that, Iʼm sure the other demon kings and queens will hunt him down, and theyʼll definitely kill him.”

Balena let out a sigh in her heart as she continued to watch the black ball. ʼZhang Fei, you are a good man, so I hope you will not take such shortcuts to improve yourself.ʼ

Cain stood alone on his mansionʼs balcony, his gaze fixed on the top of the succubi tower. ”That guy is truly insane! I didnʼt expect him to have such an ability! Fortunately, I made the decision to support him; otherwise, he could have turned into a formidable adversary for me.”

A male demon suddenly appeared behind Cain. ”Arenʼt you going to tell your father about the demonʼs existence, Prince? If he becomes too strong, it will be difficult for us to get rid of him, and he might oppress us.”

”Fool!” Cai then turned to him. ”Are you still unable to understand his character? He killed them in such a cruel way because they wanted to get rid of him first. As long as we donʼt have any problems with him, I believe he will never be our enemy, so youʼd better not tell my father about his existence. Otherwise, Iʼll kill you myself; do you understand?”

”Yes, Prince.”
