Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 511: Xian Kingdom

Yhrer looked furious after he returned from the succubi tower, especially after Orith rejected him. Moreover, he also couldnʼt find Thish there, especially since she was under Zhang Feiʼs custody. However, the presence of Zilvora, who had been there for more than a week, puzzled him. ”Tch!

If it werenʼt for the spider queen, I would have dragged that bitch to this tower, and I would have locked her up here for the rest of her life.”

”Lord.” Yhrer immediately looked at one of his subordinates. ”Elion is still in the succubi tower, and Lady Orith might not be willing to see you because of his presence. How about we get rid of him? If he disappears, Iʼm sure she wonʼt reject you anymore. However, we can only do that after the spider queen leaves, or else she will come to our tower and punish us.”

”Do you have any ideas to get rid of that brat without Orith knowing?”

The male demon nodded to Yhrer. ”Lord, you have quite a close relationship with Lord Cain, and he has many demon hunters under him, so I think you can ask for help in getting rid of Elion. That way, Lady Orith wonʼt be suspicious of you, and she wonʼt suspect that his subordinates are the ones who help you to get rid of him.”

”Cain, huh?” Yhrer murmured softly before vanishing from the sight of his subordinates.

In mere seconds, Yhrer had arrived at the northern mansion and rushed inside, but Cain stopped him before he could get inside.

”What are you doing in my mansion?” Yhrer glanced at Yu Xixuan and Lu Xin with a lustful gaze. ”They are my women, so I warn you not to mess with them, or you will suffer the consequences.”

ʼThis bastard! He was lucky to get these two women before me.ʼ Yhrer immediately announced his arrival to Cain, causing him to frown. ”Can you help me with that?”

”No.” Cainʼs blatant refusal made Yhrer frown. ”You may not know it yet, but Elion is my business partner, and he is far more important than you, so I will never help you get rid of him. If you want to get rid of him, you can ask other demons for help, but I can tell you that your plan will end with your death, so you better think it over carefully.

Anyway, I still have important matters to attend to, so I will leave you now.”

Without waiting for Yhrerʼs response, Cain immediately took the two women away, causing the angry incubus lord to become even angrier. ”If his father wasnʼt a demon king, I would have killed him long ago! What does he mean when he says that my efforts will lead to my death? My subordinates told me that that demon brat is only an earl rank demon, so he canʼt possibly fight a duke rank demon like me.

Tch! That bastard must be boasting about his partnerʼs strength; I donʼt believe that heʼs capable of killing me! For now, I need to find someone else who can assist me in getting rid of him. Elijah is my top choice, so Iʼm going to see him now.”

”Master, can Zhang Fei handle Yhrer?”

Cain immediately turned to Lu Xin. ”Do you think Yhrer has the ability to do that? Zhang Fei is capable of holding a demon queen, such as Zilvora, in the succubi tower for over a week, and he also possesses the ability to move between realms. Moreover, he also has a good relationship with Lord Arbeola; even my father respects that old demon tree very much, even though he is much stronger than him.”

”I see.” Lu Xin nodded in understanding. ”Anyway, master, we have gathered quite a few demon items for Zhang Fei, but he hasnʼt yet taken them.”

”Itʼs okay, you donʼt have to think about it, and you can order my subordinates to collect more demon items.” After that, Cain informed Zhang Fei [5] about Yhrer, and he also told him that the incubus lord might ask for help from other demons to get rid of him.

”Where have you been, Longʼer?” Shang Yaolin immediately asked Zhang Xiaolong [3], who had just arrived in their room.

Zhang Xiaolong [3] smiled, transformed back into his adult form, and immediately led Shang Yaolin to the bathroom to soak in the wooden tub. ”I just came from the eastern ocean to look for those precious stones, but I only found a few of them, so I will go there again tomorrow morning to look for more.”

”I see.” Shang Yaolin nodded in understanding and turned to Zhang Xiaolong [3]. ”Anyway, my mother will come to this realm to visit me in two weeks, and she will probably stay here for a few days. As for Aunt Xinxin, sheʼs currently in another realm with her mother, so she canʼt come to this realm to instruct you further on body cultivation.”

ʼMurong Qianying, huh?ʼ Itʼs been almost three months since she returned to the Red Sun Realm, so I should take advantage of her next visit to do something against her.ʼ Zhang Xiaolong [3] then replied to Shang Yaolin. ”It would be good if your mother came here, so you guys can spend some time together.

I really canʼt wait to learn more about the body cultivation path, but I canʼt do anything right now, so Iʼll wait for Aunt Xinxin to come to this realm again.”

”Yes, I miss her too, so Iʼll ask her to stay with us later.” Shang Yaolin then asked. ”Are you going to see Sister Yingyue after this? She told me that sheʼll be returning to our realm for a week, so I think you should make the most of your time with her, especially since you wonʼt be able to dual soul cultivate with her for a week.”

”Iʼll go see Senior Sister Yingyue after this, but I want to have some fun with you first, Big Sis.” Shang Yaolin smiled upon hearing that, as he also wanted to have some fun with Zhang Xiaolong [3]. ”Anyway, whereʼs Sister Xinyu? Why didnʼt she come back with you?”

”Oh! I forgot to tell you about Xinyu; she returned to our realm together with Shang Xiaoyin and the others earlier. Sheʼll only be going home for a few days, and sheʼll be back in this realm soon.

Since theyʼre not here, we can go to that secret place and cultivate there.” Zhang Xiaolong [3] agreed with the idea, but he immediately put it aside and started having fun with Shang Yaolin, who was already falling for him more and more.

After he fully recovered, Zhang Fei immediately brought Zhang Yue out of the training space, and they joined the others to continue the construction of their residence. He then informed his wives and family members about Zhang Yueʼs desire to hold their wedding ceremony and his decision to marry them all according to custom.

At first, they did not think much of it, but they eventually agreed with Zhang Feiʼs wishes, and they decided to hold their wedding after their residence was completed.

After he discussed with the others, Zhang Fei decided to pick up quite a number of people from the Sky Jade Realm to speed up the construction of their residence, especially people from the Zhang, Chu, Liu, and Ye Clans. Moreover, Xian Feng also had no intention of disturbing them, and he even protected him when he broke through before, so he dared to make such a decision.

Since there were quite a lot of them, Zhang Fei sent his first and second clones into the training space to start training in sixteen times gravity, and he himself focused on helping the others as he did the two daily quests that appeared every day.

Two weeks later, their residence was finally completed with the construction of the last house, so there were several large houses for all of them to live in now. The area around their houses was surrounded by tall and thick stone walls with a wide moat surrounding the front of the wall, and they also built a large bathhouse divided into two behind their houses.

One large house in the middle was the main residence, where Zhang Fei and all his official wives lived. A simple small house behind the main house was built especially for Zhang Chen. People from the Earth and the Sky Jade Realm also had their own houses, which were located slightly away from the main house.

As for the disciples from the Yin-Yang Pavilion, Zhang Fei built one house especially for them, but it was located a little far away from the other houses, particularly since some of them were too crazy when dual cultivating with their respective partners.

Additionally, he also built several other houses in preparation if he brought other people from the Sky Jade Realm, so they would stay in one area and it would be easier to protect them.

Zhang Fei originally planned to build a building for his new organization near their residence, but Liu Hua said that it would be better if they looked for one in the Xian Kingdom, so they could monitor the situation and gather information more easily by disguising their organization as a shop.

After settling everything, Zhang Fei sent the members of the three clans back to the Sky Jade Realm and used his nine cloud steps to bring Zhang Lin to another location. Meanwhile, his other wives, Zhang Chen, and the others immediately arranged their personal belongings in their new homes.

After some time, Zhang Fei and Zhang Lin arrived near the south gate of the Xian Kingdom, especially since he wanted to check out the situation in the kingdom. As for the other towns and villages, he didnʼt care much about them because they were too small, and he couldnʼt find anything interesting there.

”Why did you suddenly bring me here, Big Brother?” Zhang Lin asked while looking at Zhang Fei with a confused look.

Zhang Fei smiled and hugged his little sisterʼs waist. ”Happy birthday, Lin. Youʼre 18 now, so you can be my wife. However, weʼll start dual cultivating after our wedding, okay?”

”Hehehehe.” Zhang Lin laughed happily and hugged Zhang Fei. ”I thought you forgot my birthday because you were too busy, Big Brother. Iʼve been looking forward to this day for several years, so I really canʼt wait to be your wife.

All right, we will get married first before weʼre starting our dual cultivation, but we will spend our honeymoon for a week without interference from my other sisters, okay?”

”Sure! I will tell them about your wish, so we will be alone for a week.” Zhang Fei then took his little sisterʼs hand and led her toward the south gate of the Xian Kingdom.

However, the leader of the gate guards immediately stopped them, and he matched Zhang Feiʼs face with a painting in his hand, which was a painting of his face.

Zhang Fei raised his eyebrows slightly, not expecting Xian Feng to give his painting to the gatekeeper of his kingdom, but he was able to guess his intention.

The leader of the gate guards nodded repeatedly after confirming that the two faces were identical, but he asked Zhang Fei to further confirm his identity. ”Young master, did you come from the newly built small village in the southernmost area of this kingdom?”

ʼHmm? Xian Feng truly deserves to be an Emperor and a powerful cultivator; he can even monitor me without being detected by the system.ʼ Zhang Fei promptly acknowledged the man with a nod. ”Yes, I do come from that village, and I just arrived in this kingdom to look around.”

The leader of the gate guards immediately took out a golden plaque before handing it to Zhang Fei. ”Young Master, you can take this plaque to the Tianzhu building in the center of the kingdom, and someone will meet you there.”

”I see.” Zhang Fei immediately accepted the plaque and asked Mei to inspect the building, but a powerful formation blocked her. Even so, he could guess that the person waiting for him was Xian Feng, especially since only he and his wife knew about him. ”Thank you, Senior. I will go to that building to meet that person right now.”

”Let one of my men lead you there, especially since our kingdom is very big and vast.”

Since he wanted to see the areas of the kingdom first, Zhang Fei decided to decline the manʼs offer, and he brought his little sister into the kingdom. Zhang Lin was nervous because she was aware that the person who invited them was the emperor of the Xian Kingdom, and he was one of the strongest cultivators in the Nine Stars Realm.

After they left, one of the soldiers questioned his leader. ”Leader, why does our Emperor give so much attention to that weak young man? He not only forbade us from approaching the new village but also invited him to meet him personally.”

”Do you want to die?” The leader of the gate guards asked with narrowed eyes, causing his subordinates to break out in a cold sweat. ”As gate guards, we must obey our Emperorʼs orders without question, or else he will punish us and our families.”

”Yes... Yes...”

”Whoah!” Zhang Linʼs mouth gaped into a big O shape after they entered the Xian Kingdom because it was simply too vast, and it was several times larger compared to the Heavenly Sword City. Although the buildings inside were still far inferior to those on earth, they were significantly more advanced compared to the buildings in the Sky Jade Realm.

The population of the kingdom was truly numerous, but the roads still felt spacious because they had pedestrian areas on each side of the road like on earth. The residents mostly walked to move from one place to another because Emperor Xian forbade them from flying within the kingdom area, but they could see various types of tame beasts used to pull carriages.

However, not everyone could use beasts in the city, and only those with high status were allowed to use them.

The clothes worn by the residents of the kingdom were made of high-quality fabrics, which could not be found in the Sky Jade Realm. They also used some other materials, such as beast skins, for their clothes.

Based on the conversations of the people around them, they learned that the kingdom was neatly divided into several districts, separating areas for commerce, entertainment, markets, arts, and several others. The Tianzhu building was located in the central area of the kingdom, which is an arts district.

In the center, slightly to the north, a magnificent palace towers high into the sky, and it is built using stones, gold, and many other precious materials. The palace is surrounded by a high fortress that separates it from the other areas inside the kingdom, and there is so much defense equipment on top of the fort, including a transparent barrier.

They could see a special landing area for flying artifacts at the top of the palace, but only emperors and empresses from other kingdoms could land there.

”Big brother! This kingdom is simply too marvelous!” Zhang Lin expressed her admiration. ”With this much space, I think weʼll need a few days to be able to check all the areas.”

Zhang Fei nodded in agreement with his little sister. ”However, Iʼm not interested in all the districts, and Iʼm only interested in the market and commerce districts, so weʼll check those two districts first before going to meet that person.”

”Eh?” Zhang Lin turned to Zhang Fei in surprise. ”Are you really going to let that person wait for us?”

”Feng Yao said that he is a good person, but we still have no relationship with him, at least for now.” Zhang Fei immediately led his little sister to the market districts, especially since he wanted to check out the items there. ”Moreover, I donʼt want to bow down to anyone, even if he is the Emperor.

We would be too conspicuous if we went to see him directly, so we will see him after we check out the two districts.”
