Reborn As Super Heiress

When this girl kept putting on an old soul act and saying adult things, Huo Sining actually felt both annoyed and amused, and couldn’t help asking, ”Easy for you to say—how are we supposed to ’ruin’ him? We’re on the High seas. If we don’t toss him into the ocean, are we supposed to take him back with us? Then we wouldn’t even need to wait till we get home, we could go straight into a jail cell.”

Niuniu shot Huo Sining a glare, huffing impatiently, and sneered:

”Are you stupid or what, taking him home? You still want to keep this bunch of scum as pets or something? You’re really letting one leaf block your view. Don’t forget, your Spiritual Energy can save people, but it can also kill. Turn them into idiots, morons, paraplegics, whatever—make them unable to take care of themselves, but not able to die either. Let them suffer alive in this world, then just ship them straight back to Dongyang, wouldn’t that solve it?”

Huo Sining paused at that, startled, and raised her head to look at Niuniu, genuinely surprised that Niuniu could come up with such a constructive suggestion.

You had to know she’d always thought this girl’s brain worked in weird, unreliable ways, but this time, the idea the little brat brought up was something Huo Sining hadn’t thought of at all—and key thing was, it perfectly solved the headache she’d been having.

Right, for that Gao Yuyuan and that lackey who’d been about to assault Hua Country women, she definitely wasn’t going to show the slightest mercy. But the rest were just Gao Yuyuan’s accomplices—their crimes weren’t capital offenses. If she really killed this whole lot, even Huo Sining felt that was a bit too much. Yet if she simply let them go, she’d feel unwilling.

Now that Niuniu had said this, Huo Sining’s mind opened up; she suddenly realized she’d been thinking too narrowly. Who said the only punishments for these people were killing them or letting them go?

Making them live lives worse than death—wasn’t that a better option?

Huo Sining nodded in agreement and generously gave Niuniu a thumbs-up. ”You’re right, I was thinking in the wrong direction. To deal with these people, we really don’t need to rack our brains that much.”

Only then did Niuniu lift her chin in smugness. ”That’s more like it. I think since we’re punishing them, just sending the video to the Dongyang side isn’t enough. Since you want a deterrent effect, I say you just upload the video straight onto the internet.”

”Once it blows up, that bunch of Dongyang people won’t dare come out and bark openly. After all, they’d be in the wrong first. Otherwise, even if you hide your face, with how Dongyang people are, eight or nine times out of ten they’d still pin this on Hua Country in the end. Then the Ministry of Foreign Affairs would really have a headache.”

Huo Sining was quite amazed at that; she hadn’t expected Niuniu to improve this much in just a few days—no longer the firecracker who electrocuted people whenever she was upset. Now she could even think this far ahead, which honestly made Huo Sining look at her in a new light.

She had to admit, the little thing actually had a point. If she just privately sent the videos to the East Ocean Police Bureau, those Dongyang bastards would very likely suppress the whole incident, and might even turn around and bite back, questioning whether Hua Country was openly violating High seas treaties and illegally detaining and abusing their so-called fishermen.

This kind of thing had happened already. Back at the international treasure appraisal conference, when she clashed with Watanabe Yasu and the others, those Dongyang people reacted exactly the same—completely dodging the topic of the fake Gold Thread Jade Clothing, yet turning around to frame Huo Sining, even threatening to boycott Huaxia’s antique circle and the like.

Of course, to these jumping clowns, Huo Sining had always held the mentality of caring for the mentally challenged, and never really took them to heart. But when this sort of touching little scene kept happening over and over, she did get annoyed.

Since there was a way to settle everything in one go, leaving the Dongyang side with no way to argue back and without any aftereffects, Huo Sining obviously wasn’t going to pass it up.

Once spoken, she acted. Huo Sining didn’t hesitate, leaned over to whisper a few words to Gu Xu, and after they’d agreed, Gu Xu and Wu Jun sped up the interrogation. Huo Sining didn’t idle either—once the questioning was over, she handled the aftermath. Taking advantage of a moment when Wu Jun wasn’t paying attention, she directly sent her Spiritual Energy into the acupoints of these Dongyang men.

Baihui, Yamen, Shenque, Mingmen... basically all the acupoints that could turn someone into an idiot, a mental cripple, a paraplegic, a mute—Huo Sining hit every one of them in turn on these Dongyang people. By the time she’d gone down the line once, not a single one was left intact: those who could still talk were idiots, those whose minds were clear were paralyzed or mute. Anyway, it was all a pretty tragic sight.

But at the same time, she also took the opportunity to comb through their other internal organs with her Spiritual Energy, making sure their bodies were robust and healthy, and that they wouldn’t develop any terminal illnesses in the short term. She guaranteed they wouldn’t die.

You had to say, this was absolutely an evil little fetish uniquely provided by Niuniu, and Huo Sining carried it out even more thoroughly. With these Dongyang bastards crippled by her Spiritual Energy, even after sending them back, Huo Sining was certain not a single doctor would be able to diagnose what the hell was wrong with their bodies. Acupoints were extremely mysterious to begin with, and coupled with Spiritual Energy stimulation, there was simply no way anyone could cure them.

After finishing all this, Huo Sining finally let out a breath of relief. As for Gao Yuyuan, she wasn’t going to be nearly so considerate. Anyway, she already had intel on the Medicine King Cauldron, and the rest of the Dongyang crowd had confessed to their crimes at sea—hijacking Huaxia fishing boats, detaining Huaxia fishermen and abusing them. The whole thing was basically nailed down and inescapable. So as for Gao Yuyuan, Huo Sining had no intention of letting him live.

When it came to annihilating someone’s humanity, Huo Sining didn’t plan to do it too directly. She had Qibao with her, and Gu worms were obviously more effective. After turning Gao Yuyuan and that lackey straight into vegetables, Huo Sining turned and asked Qibao for a bottle of something called ”Three Corpses Gu.” Without the slightest hesitation, she poured all the poison down the two men’s throats.

Once that was done, Huo Sining used the chance while Su Qingqing and Wu Jun weren’t paying attention to quietly slip down to the hatch at the very bottom of the ship’s hold where the fresh catch was stored. After a round of probing, she indeed found traces of a Bronze Ding among the mass of live, wriggling fish, shrimp, and crabs.

This fishing vessel was originally meant for going out to sea to fish. Although Gao Yuyuan used it as a cover, these Ninjas were also sailors and fishermen, and were pretty professional at the fishing business. So the haul in this hold was high quality; one look and you could tell it wasn’t cheap stuff.

Clearly, they’d planned to use this trip to sea to haul in a batch of seafood to sell on the side.

Huo Sining had originally only intended to fish out the Bronze Ding and leave, but seeing so much catch, there was no way she’d turn her nose up at it. In the spirit of ”you’re a sucker if you don’t take advantage,” she casually scooped all the fish, shrimp, and crabs into her own storage ring.
