Armed Train in the Apocalypse

Wang Fei’s face suddenly twisted with rage, and he kicked his subordinate away, swearing, ”You damn dog, you still fucking dare to fool me!”

Kicking him away wasn’t enough to vent his anger, so he continued with another round of kicks.

The subordinate pleaded repeatedly.

”Toot—”

The sharp whistle sounded again, Wang Fei’s expression froze instantly as he grabbed the subordinate, his voice trembling, ”Did you hear the whistle?”

”No, no, Brother Fei, I heard wrong.” The beaten subordinate quickly denied.

Wang Fei’s mind, already unbalanced due to fear, collapsed instantly, and he threw two punchs, roaring, ”I heard it myself, you damn bastard still dare to lie to me!”

The subordinate cried in pain.

Listening to the increasingly close whistle, he let go of the subordinate and opened the window in despair.

Indeed.

Under the endless metallic structures, on the distant tracks, that familiar steel beast was slowly approaching with black smoke, and the menacing spike on the front gleamed coldly in the sunlight.

”Brother Fei, the train doesn’t know we’re here. Maybe it’s just passing by?”

The subordinate whimpered.

It’s not that he’s a coward, it just really hurt to be hit in the nose.

This statement seemed to be a tranquilizer for Wang Fei, calming him down a lot, suddenly realizing something, ”Where’s Ma Baozi?”

”Just, just went down with his men.”

Wang Fei’s eyes went black, as if he saw the scene of the industrial area turning into ruins under the wheels of the train again that night.

He kicked the door open like mad, and in a bus lobby with even seats not removed, more than a dozen subordinates were looking outside, turned around and were stunned seeing his appearance.

”Grab your stuff and stop Ma Baozi! Quick!”

Wang Fei’s voice changed in urgency.

The subordinates scrambled for weapons, someone puzzled asked, ”Brother Fei, weren’t we supposed to talk about joining them today…?”

”Join your ass!” Wang Fei slapped him, gritting his teeth, ”That idiot is definitely going down to collect road fees, that’s an armed train! Steel Council was wiped out by triggering the corpse tide, if you piss off those lunatics, we won’t escape! We’re all going to die!”

This statement exploded like a bomb among the crowd.

More than a dozen survivors who escaped from the industrial area suddenly turned pale.

The horror of the corpse tide a few days ago was still fresh in their memory.

Wang Fei couldn’t care about them, grabbed a shotgun and rushed out.

His heart was pounding wildly in his chest, all he could hear was his own heavy breathing.

He knew too well the nature of that armed train.

Wherever it passed, blood flowed like rivers; it wasn’t a train, it was a moving catastrophe!

Rushed out of the carriage, didn’t even take the stairs, directly jumped down, stomping flat several makeshift platforms made from engine covers, landing precisely at a narrow ”suspension bridge entrance,” behind him a dozen subordinates also jumped down thudingly.

Ma Baozi’s signature floral shirt was especially eye-catching among the crowd, he was waving yesterday’s assault rifle he gave him, chatting and laughing with his crew.

Wang Fei just jumped down, despite being an Evolver, was still shaken to nausea.

Seeing Ma Baozi like this, his heart also pounded with fear.

This idiot is really going for it!

Ma Baozi turned his head and saw him, grinned showing all his yellow teeth, ”Younger Brother Wang, just in time! Today we’re pulling off something big!”

He walked over, holding Wang Fei’s shoulder, pointing excitedly at the approaching train, ”This fat sheep is enough for us to feast for half a year!”

Wang Fei’s mind flashed with the great fires in the industrial area, the survivors swallowed by the corpse tide, and the overwhelming thunderstorm.

Fear turned into overwhelming anger, he swung the gun butt at Ma Baozi’s face.

”Feast your ass!”

With a ”bang,” Ma Baozi’s nose sprayed blood as he fell to the ground.

His crew were about to act, Wang Fei’s people already raised their guns in unison, the dark gun muzzles intimidating them into immobility.

Ma Baozi climbed up, covering his face in disbelief, glaring at Wang Fei, ”You fucking crazy…”

Clearly, over the past few days, they were chatting so well, planning to establish a junkyard together, and now he betrayed them?!

”You’re the fucking crazy one!” Wang Fei grabbed his floral shirt’s collar, pressed the gun to his neck, his eyes blood-red, snarling, ”If I’d come down a bit later today, you’d have been pinned to the tracks with your crew of brainless pigs, juiced by them!”

”Who? The train down there?”

Ma Baozi asked in disbelief.

Wang Fei’s eyes bulged, growling word by word against his face, ”In one day, the armed train crushed a force thousands times bigger than yours in three battles!”

Ma Baozi’s face twitched, ”Thousands times? That would be at least tens of thousands of people!”

Wang Fei’s face turned vicious, desperately wishing to bite off two pieces of flesh from this idiot.

”Where do you think we escaped from?”

Ma Baozi recalled what Wang Fei said about the corpse tide over drinks, his face instantly turned pale, regardless of the pain, wiping the nosebleed randomly, glancing at the approaching train.

The Iron Rain 14.5 above made his spine cold with sweat.

His hundred-odd people couldn’t withstand even one burst of that caliber.

With such a large caliber, even hiding in the newly built metal city below, they’d be blown apart.

And those dark red marks on the train body weren’t rust left by acid rain, but blood traces repeatedly washed away!

Plus Wang Fei’s exaggerated stance, Ma Baozi’s heart instantly believed most of it.

”Everyone put down your weapons!” Ma Baozi gritted out.

As for today’s hit, he’d have to settle it later.

Wang Fei’s bastard hit very fucking hard!

The atmosphere among the crowd eased, but Ma Baozi’s side continued to gather, faintly surrounding Wang Fei, each with fire in their eyes.
