The Hero Became a Succubus, and the Only Way to Level is to… What?!

These potions weren’t going to last all day, so they had to be quick. What they really should have brought with them was a guide. No one had any clue as to finding the source of the nectar. Even with Edina’s undead army scouring the canyon, there was far too much ground to cover.

To that end, Kanae and Claudia searched from the skies for any movement down below. There shouldn’t be anyone else out here except them. If there was, then it had to be the Harpy King’s people.

It was getting harder to even blink. Kanae’s eyes were so dry, they stung to keep them open. Claudia didn’t look too good either. The fire protection from the potions could only give them so much relief. They weren’t dying outright, but they weren’t exactly thriving in the sweltering heat either.

”Ah, fuck. Kanae, can we find some shade? Just for a few minutes…” Claudia pleaded, wiping a layer of sweat from her face.

”You won’t see me complaining.” Kanae did the same and flicked off the moisture only for it to quickly evaporate.

The two of them descended to the canyon’s surface, finding respite under the cliff’s shadows and away from the sun. Their butts burned taking a seat, so they decided to stand instead. Kanae choked swallowing on a dry throat. She could use some water, but they had almost exhausted their waterskins. They needed to save the last gulp for the return trip. At least Kris brought the enchanted container that fired water out like a geyser, but Kanae and Claudia needed to make it back there first…

”I hate this. I wanna go back! This isn’t the kind of misery and pain I’m into! Kanae, comfort me~” Claudia latched onto Kanae, pressing their sweat-drenched bodies together.

”Stop it… We’re both sticky and gross.” Kanae tried to push the succubus off, but she wouldn’t budge.

”Seriously though.” She sat upright and frowned. ”If we don’t get this done soon, we’re probably fucked out here. And I like a good fucking, just not this! Hey, use that ice spell again. Pleeeeeeaassee!”

Kanae casted Hailstorm against the cliffside. A magical coat of freezing ice stretched across the rocky surface and emitted a chilly mist. Since this wasn’t natural frost, it didn’t melt as easily as its normal counterpart. Relief hit them both just by being near it. Claudia, however…

”Thank gods!” Claudia threw her entire body into the sleet.

”Come on, you’re hogging the cold.” Kanae groaned.

”Just cast yourself another— hiiiiiiieeeeeeeee!”

Kanae did as Claudia suggested and casted a second Hailstorm on the cliff. With her still attached to it. The spell sandwiched her in ice all the way up to the neck.

”N-N-Now it’s too… m-much, but… nnh… that was… c-c-cold of you… I kind of… l-like it…” Claudia shuddered in pleasure.

”You cool off there. I’m going to take a look around since I don’t think we’ve checked this area yet,” Kanae said.

This side of the canyon obscured the sun and casted a long shadow across it, thank goodness. While still very hot, Kanae didn’t have to suffer under direct sunlight. She skirted along the cliff face, hoping to find clues of the Harpy King’s involvement or where the underground nectar flowed from.

It didn’t help that Kanae was still insanely horny after being denied the hunk of cock earlier. She sat underneath an outcrop. This should be far enough…

Kanae pulled Cockcalibur from her pussy. She had been dripping wet all day and in need of a good fucking already. No more waiting. No more distractions. Holding it in two hands, she willed the dildo to transform into Titan’s hung cock and kissed the tip. Precum leaked a little from it.

”Just a little. Then I’ll go back to searching.” Kanae guided the rock hard thing into her pussy and choked down a moan. ”I’ve missed this… You’re so big. I wish I could feel your heavy balls slapping my ass as you pound into me. But this will have to do.”

Everything about it felt so real, from the warmth, throbbing, and veins along the shaft that massaged the inside of her. Titan’s cock began to thrust on its own. She let go of the massive thing and couldn’t believe her eyes, as if he was right here fucking her. With both hands freed, Kanae squeezed her breasts.

”I know you’re not here, but you might as well be. You’re doing so good, my stallion! Fill me up! Your mare wants it so baaaaad!” Kanae came hard, and so did Titan, shooting his load from across space.

Kanae blinked in sheer disbelief.

”No way! This is Titan’s skill! I’ve had it before. Skill Drain works when I have sex with him through Cockcalibur? Hmm… Okay, Mitty. I need a good Pathfinder skill from you.” Kanae imagined her goblin lover’s hobgoblin dick, and Cockcalibur shifted in shape and size.

What was originally hung like a horse had shrunken. The rod was still very large compared to most people. Kanae held the reddish penis in one hand which twitched to her touch. Hopefully, Mitty wasn’t busy or anything. She plunged his dick into her soaking cunt. A shockwave of pleasure rippled through her body, reminding her of the very thing that had given her many daughters.

”Hehe… It feels like you’re happy to be inside me again. Sorry for the sloppy seconds though.” Kanae tenderly pumped Mitty’s cock as if they were making love.

Soon, Cockcalibur added fresh spunk into the mix. Kanae’s eyes rolled back, and she fought the urge to switch on Versatile Womb. The pleasure was incredible, but she didn’t need to play roulette over birthing a new baby.

[Skill Drain has temporarily acquired the skill Sense Beaten Path.

Sense Beaten Path: Recent tracks that have worn away by weather, time, or purposeful hiding show up as a faint red trail. The brighter the red, the more recent the tracks.]

”Yes!” Kanae jumped for joy. ”You must be hard at work back home. I’ll be sure to give you some extra loving in exchange when I return.”

Cockcalibur reverted to its original, modest form. She stuck the magical dildo back into her pussy, casted Prestidigitation to clean off the excess spunk, and flew up into the sky. Now to put the new skill into action.

Kanae activated Sense Beaten Path and scanned the canyons. Red trails were everywhere. Some of them likely belonged to animals. Others, from the undeads roamed about. Edina had really pushed them to search far and wide. Although they left tracks behind, a red trail didn’t form in their wake. Maybe this skill didn’t count undeads. Many trails were extraordinarily dull. As if on the verge of vanishing from existence. One skeletal warrior unwittingly wandered onto a strikingly crimson trail.

There!

”Edina!” Kanae descended upon the undead and shook its shoulders.

”Holy nuts. You scared the crap outta me! Don’t jump up out of nowhere screaming!” Edina complained through her undead.

”Sorry! I think I found their trail. Meet at this undead. Get the others, too!” she implored.

It was going to take them a few minutes, so Kanae returned to Claudia. The succubus was still stuck in the ice. She made zero effort to free herself.

”Claudia… I know you’re strong enough to break out of that.” Kanae sighed.

”Huh? Why would I break out? I thought we were doing some abandonment play with you leaving me here. You know, I’m starting to get what Elaine is raving about. Mental anguish is kinda nice. Buuut it’s definitely got to include some physical pain. Hit me again with another Hailstorm! Better yet, get Petyr over here to bludgeon me out!” Claudia exclaimed, panting harder after every sentence.

”Okay… You can just stay put.” She headed back just as Edina made it with the others on the undead dragon.

Luckily for them, the trail hadn’t gone cold yet. Still bright red. When the others hopped down from the dragon, they left behind their own own that formed together into a single trail. That was a good enough sign that Mitty’s Pathfinder skill worked as intended.

”Where’s Claudia?” Renya asked.

”Doing Claudia things. Never mind her. I’m pretty sure we’ll find what we’re looking for going through here.” Kanae pointed to the narrow passage that the red trail traced along.

Everyone exchanged skeptical glances with each other. Petyr, Kris, Renya, and Edina all looked thoroughly beaten by the sun. They hadn’t found anything all day and were a thin line away from calling it quits.

Kanae led them onwards deeper into the canyon. Ringed stone formations stretched above their heads. The ground here was littered with pieces of dried nectar. Tiny desert animals nibbled on what remained. It seemed gwarms weren’t the only ones that fed on the underground secretions.

Yellow grass and low shrubs grew here, likely taking nutrients from the same source that fed the wildlife. Quite the feat, considering the Avanessi curse. They entered a dead end where the earth created a geological barrier of jagged stone about ten feet high. It smelled oddly sweet around here.

They followed the scent deeper in. Stone rubble and debris that didn’t look natural packed the center of the circle. A trickle of white liquid secreted out from it, and a little rat skittered off when they kneeled down to inspect.

”By the Supreme One’s ass. You were right,” Petyr muttered in awe.

”Something’s off,” Kanae said, hand to her whip. ”The trail is the brightest here, but I don’t see anyone around.”

”Who cares. Petyr, smash the damn thing open so we can get going already. I wanna see this thing squirt!” Edina exclaimed.

”Ugh. I don’t want to hear you say ’squirt’ ever again.” She charged her warhammer with Smite and was about to smash the blockage until a sharp whistle pierced the air.

The stone came alive and slammed into Petyr. Her weapon was in the air, so she guarded in time and skidded backwards on both heels. Razor sharp winds rushed in, slicing them with a thousand cuts.

”Ow, ow, ow! No one told me this was going to turn into a fight!” Kris cried, hiding behind Kanae for safety.

”Hahaha! Do you feel the sting of my gale, warriors?” a familiar, annoying voice echoed all around them.

”Oh, great.” Everyone except Kris sighed and knew full well who that was.

A sweeping cyclone touched down next to the centaur-shaped rock golem forming where Petyr was standing before she got hit. The winds subsided, giving way to the jackal woman, Sofisa. Better known as the Dancing Dervish. To the beastman’s side, Kanae recognized the centaur as Grahib, dressed in a full suit of earthen armor.

”You humiliated me twice now!” Grahib boomed furiously. ”I’ll have my revenge this—”

Petyr flung her warhammer, striking the centaur dead center in his chest. The impact shattered his suit of stone and knocked him into the canyonside.

”M-May we start over?” Sofisa stammered, face pale with fear.

”Get her!” Kanae shouted.

”It will be my pleasure! Hey, bitch. Tell your Harpy King I said, hello!” Renya unleashed a salvo of magical blasts from her flintlocks.

Sofisa deflected a few with her large, curved blade before spinning into a tornado. Everyone dove behind boulders for cover. The winds were so sharp, they left slice marks on stone.

”Cantu, get out here!” Edina summoned her sentient death knight into being.

”As you— yiiiiikes! What in the hells is going on? Ow! Everything hurts! I miss not having flesh parts!” Cantu screamed in agony as the winds sliced and diced off the Corpsestitched parts of him, including his dick.

”Aww, man. That was my favorite part!” she groaned.

Kanae peeked out for a moment. The winds were like flying swords in the air. Even Petyr didn’t want to risk going out to fight Sofisa. It would certainly hurt to get caught up in that. Hurt… Hurt… pain!

”Renya.” Kanae grabbed the dark elf by the shoulders. ”I need you to make a distraction. Kris, can you spray your canteen at Sofisa?”

”Are we making a run for it?” Renya asked.

”No, I’m going to get the one person who can stand getting hurt,” she explained.

”On your signal!” Kris whispered.

Kanae motioned for them to begin. Kris twisted the cap off her canteen, shooting a jet of water in the cyclone. Powerful winds misted the water everywhere, and combined with the midday sun’s heat, turned it all into steam.

Renya seized the distraction and jumped out of cover. Thanks to her enchanted boots, she blinked to dodge the slicing winds. Multiple clones spread out across the canyon and fired pot shots at her. Meanwhile, the prime Renya took cover behind another stone formation deeper in.

Using the steam to hide in, Kanae escaped and flew back to Claudia. The succubus was snoozing when she got there, and only half the ice had melted.

”Get up!” Kanae casted Dispel, freeing Claudia from the icy tomb that she could have broken out of herself.

”Sorry! It felt so nice and cool, I just fell asleep. What happened?” Claudia asked.

”I found the perfect friend for you. Let’s go!” She urged the masochist to her feet.

When they got back, bones from countless undead warriors were strewn everywhere. Cantu was gone, but another death knight had taken his place. Sofisa deftly avoided the monstrosity and dealt countless blows right back in the blink of an eye. Petyr, Renya, and Kris were still hiding behind cover.

”Sofisa hurts. A lot. It might be enough pain that even you can’t take.” Kanae extended a hand to the Dancing Dervish.

”I’ll be the judge of that!” Claudia landed in the tornado of blades.

The winds nicked her body full of cuts, but she didn’t so much as flinch.

”What’s this? A new challenger approaches? A warrior unfazed by my flurry of attacks! I remember you from Sultana Dudula’s palace. But at the time, you faced Grahib. Now, you face Sofisa, the Dancing Dervish!” Sofisa unleashed a guillotine of an attack, slashing the space in front of her and sending a powerful shockwave.

Claudia threw out her arms and took the blow head on. The stone behind her, where Kanae and others had hid behind, split with a horizontal slash mark.

”Fuck my tail!” Edina stared aghast that a whole foot cut into horizontally across their cover.

”How did you survive that?” Sofisa’s jaw dropped.

”Mmmm! That felt good.” Claudia cracked her neck. ”We should’ve been fighting last time then, because I can get used to this!”

Panicked, Sofisa threw slash after slash. It became too dangerous to stay behind this boulder, so they dove out of the way just as the next strike cut all the way through. Claudia was taking visible damage. She bled from every wound on her. But with each attack, her grin grew wider and more unhinged.

Before long, Claudia stood within arm’s reach of Sofisa.

”You want to hear something neat? I got this skill that’s called Reflect Damage. Bulwark only skill. The skill takes all that pain I took in the last minute, and puts it into my next attack. Take this!” Claudia headbutted Sofisa with the crack of thunder, causing the ground to tremble and fissure.

The Dancing Dervish staggered backwards a few steps. A thin streak of blood trickled down from her forehead.

”Im… pressive…” Sofisa’s eyes rolled back, and she fell flat on her back.

”Huh. I guess you do deserve some respect.” Scoffing, Petyr emerged from behind a rock.

However, the compliment was lost on Claudia. She also collapsed to the ground, her entire body shuddering and eyes wet with tears.

”Heh… Hehe… I came…” Claudia mumbled, a silly grin adorning her face.

”Eugh. I take it back.” Petyr walked ahead and picked up the felmetal warhammer from Grahib’s unconscious body.

Kanae and Kris inspected the crater now that Grahib had been pummeled away from it. A thick layer of resin coated the opening. This must be where the breastmilk came up from. Looks like the nectar had hardened up, and the two Dervishes tried to hide it. Kanae took another glance at the unconscious Grahib and Sofisa. They were, thankfully, down for the count.

”So, how do we uncork this bad bitch?” Edina asked.

”Step back.” Petyr didn’t even give the squirreling a chance and scooted aside. She hoisted the warhammer over her head, then slammed it down on the blockage. Surprisingly, the resin cracked but didn’t give.

”Even I know you got to give it some heat. Anyone got fire magic?” Renya suggested.

Kanae fired three charges of Scorching Ray from her ring. All she succeeded in doing was create a layer of sticky nectar that quickly dried up. It occurred to them. Not a single one had any fire spells.

”I… I guess I do have this…” Kanae activated Titan’s Coat of Conflagration, dressed herself in flames, and sat on top of the blockage. It was… working.

”This is going to take a while, isn’t it?” Petyr sighed, pinching the bridge of her nose.
