Urban Martial Saint

Ye Qing quietly looked at Nalan Tianyu, his expression unusually calm, without saying a word, he simply took a step forward and stood quietly in front of Nalan Tianyu.

Although he didn’t say anything, Ye Qing’s intentions were already obvious.

If you want to fight, then I will fight!

Seeing Ye Qing like this, Nalan Tianyu paused slightly, then suddenly said, ”Just fighting like this is a bit too boring. How about we bet on something?”

”Not in the mood!” Ye Qing replied bluntly. The first reason he was fighting with Nalan Tianyu was because he kept harassing Huangfu Ziyu, and the second was because he was disrespectful to the King of North-South Boxing. As for anything else, he wasn’t very concerned and didn’t want to bet on anything.

”Is it that you’re not in the mood, or are you afraid?” Nalan Tianyu sneered, ”Is this the extent of the courage of the King of North-South Boxing’s successor? Hmph, I thought as much. You’d better not come to the Capital in the future, lest you embarrass the King of North-South Boxing here!”

”Are you going to fight or not?” Ye Qing quietly looked at Nalan Tianyu and said, ”If not, then we’ll leave first!”

”Of course we’ll fight!” Nalan Tianyu said, ”But listen carefully. If you lose, Huangfu Ziyu will be mine!”

As soon as Nalan Tianyu finished speaking, he suddenly stepped forward and chopped his hand towards Ye Qing, giving him no chance to refuse. In this way, the bet was forcibly established.

Ye Qing wanted to speak, but seeing Nalan Tianyu coming fiercely, he couldn’t open his mouth. Seeing that Nalan Tianyu’s palm was coming fast, Ye Qing immediately stretched out his right hand and swept across his chest, just blocking Nalan Tianyu’s wrist.

Wing Chun Fist emphasizes exploiting opportunities, seizing them immediately, and not neglecting in the slightest. Ye Qing had long understood the essence of Wing Chun Fist, so he hooked Nalan Tianyu’s wrist and pulled him in front of him.

”Seeking death!” Nalan Tianyu shouted coldly, and both hands struck out, hitting five vital parts of Ye Qing’s body in succession.

Nalan Tianyu’s attack speed was extremely fast, and his moves very elegant. Originally, Nalan Family’s boxing technique wasn’t so flashy, but after he modified it, it appeared quite stylish. However, with the flair came a slowdown in speed and action, which posed absolutely no pressure on Ye Qing, who had practiced his reflexes and accuracy by tossing soybeans.

Ye Qing’s hands moved together, continuously blocking all five punches from Nalan Tianyu while delivering a reverse palm strike to Nalan Tianyu’s shoulder.

Nalan Tianyu’s five punches were indeed a rather strong attack method. Ordinary people couldn’t stop them. He hadn’t expected that Ye Qing could not only block but also counter-attack. This made him take Ye Qing more seriously, with no doubt that Ye Qing’s strength couldn’t be compared to the useless opponents he had encountered before.

Focusing his heart and gathering strength, Nalan Tianyu fought with Ye Qing, and his demeanor became much more serious. But after fighting for a while, he gradually felt something was wrong. Standing in front of Ye Qing, his onslaught had no effect on Ye Qing. Ye Qing’s hands seemed to have infinite magical power, and regardless of how fast his strikes were or how tricky the angles, Ye Qing could easily deflect his attacks. After fighting for a while, he was unable to harm Ye Qing in the slightest, and instead, he himself almost suffered on a few occasions.

In the distance, several Nalan family members frowned as they watched the fight between the two. One said solemnly, ”It is indeed Wing Chun Fist, undeniably the martial arts personally taught by the Southern Fist King Shen Tianjun!”

”This kid is actually the apprentice of Southern Fist King Shen Tianjun?” another person frowned, ”Wing Chun claims to be invincible in close combat. Tianyu is really asking for trouble, fighting closely with someone practicing Wing Chun Fist. Our Nalan Family Boxing technique can’t be displayed, giving the opponent the advantage instead. If it continues like this, Tianyu is bound to lose!”

Two other people also had grim expressions. Neither the Southern nor Northern Fist Kings had ever crossed hands with Prince Nalan. This time, their successors were engaged with the eldest grandson of Prince Nalan, making this battle extremely significant. If Nalan Tianyu lost, it would be as if Prince Nalan himself had lost, making everyone very cautious.

However, by this point, it was almost impossible for Nalan Tianyu to back away from Ye Qing. Wing Chun Fist is precisely this way; once at close range, it is very challenging to pull away, with Wing Chun Sticky Hands ensuring both parties remain in close combat. But Wing Chun Fist is known to be invincible in such encounters. If both parties are evenly matched, Wing Chun holds a substantial advantage up close.

Nalan Tianyu launched several fierce attacks in succession, attempting to force Ye Qing back, but achieved no result. His attacks were effortlessly neutralized by Ye Qing, and couldn’t open the distance even a bit. On the contrary, Ye Qing seemed more and more adept as the fight went on. After fighting for half an hour, Ye Qing suddenly shouted, stomped his right foot on the ground, and with a firmly clenched right fist, aimed straight for Nalan Tianyu’s chest.

Panicked, Nalan Tianyu tried to block, but it was too late. Seeing that the punch was about to hit his chest, Ye Qing suddenly stopped, the fist only an inch away from his chest.

Nalan Tianyu paused, unsure of what Ye Qing’s intentions were. Was he showing mercy? However, Nalan Tianyu didn’t hold back at all and immediately threw a punch at Ye Qing.

”Get out of the way!” Just as Nalan Tianyu was surprised, a tense voice called from afar.

Nalan Tianyu recognized the voice as belonging to a Nalan family member. He also sensed things were not right and attempted to retreat, but it was too late. Ye Qing firmly planted his right foot, twisted his waist, and the power from his stomp traveled through his thighs and waist into his right arm. With just a short distance of an inch, this punch sent Nalan Tianyu flying five to six meters away.

The Wing Chun Inch Punch, with its full force impact, was not much weaker than Ye Qing’s Stick to the Mountain technique. Most crucially, the Wing Chun Inch Punch was far quicker than the Stick to the Mountain technique!

Nalan Tianyu fell to the ground, struggled to get up, but felt a sweetness in his throat, and vomited a mouthful of blood, collapsing immediately. This punch from Ye Qing had already caused him internal injuries.

In fact, Ye Qing hadn’t originally intended to hit this hard with that punch. When he stopped his fist short of Nalan Tianyu’s chest, it was to see if Nalan Tianyu would concede. However, not only did Nalan Tianyu not concede, he even attacked Ye Qing, which infuriated him, prompting the full force shot.

If it weren’t for Nalan Tianyu’s decent inner strength, this punch might’ve resulted in more than just spitting blood.

The moment Nalan Tianyu hit the ground, four middle-aged men rushed over from a distance. These four were members of the Nalan family, specifically tasked with protecting and observing Nalan Tianyu.

Seeing Nalan Tianyu collapsed on the ground, the expressions of the four men changed. Since Nalan Tianyu lost, it was equivalent to Prince Nalan losing a battle here, hence damaging Prince Nalan’s reputation.

Three of them hurriedly went to help Nalan Tianyu up, while another went directly in front of Ye Qing, bowing and saying, ”May I ask the name of this friend?”

”Ye Qing!” Ye Qing replied plainly.

”Mr. Ye, what splendid skills!” the man said solemnly, ”But your actions seem a bit too ruthless, don’t they? Since you stopped before, why did you then punch with full force and injure my nephew?”

Ye Qing gave the man a cold look and replied, ”Since you saw me stop, then you should have also seen how your nephew acted. I spared him, did he spare me even a little?”

The man looked a bit embarrassed. He had seen clearly what had happened at the time. If he had to say, it was indeed Nalan Tianyu’s fault. But now, Nalan Tianyu lost, and he couldn’t admit fault, or else the Nalan family’s reputation would be finished.

”My nephew’s skills aren’t as good as Mr. Ye’s. Actually, Mr. Ye had other ways to avoid this move. But Mr. Ye chose not to, and seriously injured my nephew instead. Isn’t that a bit unreasonable?” The man paused and said coldly, ”Or does Mr. Ye think that being the apprentice of Southern Fist King Shen Tianjun allows you to disregard our Nalan family?”

Ye Qing furrowed his brows, recognizing this man was simply looking for trouble.

”So, according to you, it’s fine if your nephew hits me, but I can’t defend myself?” Ye Qing said coldly, ”If he attacks me, I must dodge or block, and I can’t attack him. If it continues like this, if he beats me to death, it’s fine, but if I injure him, then I’m not respecting the Nalan family?”

”Hmph, the people of the Nalan family indeed have quite the prestige!” Huangfu Ziyu came forward and mocked, ”Not being able to beat others, but still not allowing them to retaliate. How does that make sense anywhere in the world?”

The man’s face grew cold and he said tersely, ”So you’re saying, you injuring my nephew is instead his fault?”

”Are you blind? Didn’t you see that he came looking for trouble on purpose?” Huangfu Ziyu shot back coldly.

”Enough! ”The man pointed at Ye Qing and said sternly, ”The Wing Chun Fist of Southern Fist King Shen Tianjun is indeed impressive, but our Nalan family isn’t afraid of you. Ye Qing, do you dare to fight me?”

”So, the Nalan family now practices fighting in turns?” Huangfu Ziyu smirked, ”Oh, the Nalan family truly has great prestige. If the nephew can’t win, the uncle steps in. Sooner or later, will Prince Nalan personally come to teach us juniors a lesson?”

”Sharp tongue, in the end only courageous with words!” the man said coldly, ”Ye Qing, tell me now, do you dare to fight me? If not, just admit defeat and apologize to my nephew, and I can let you go!”

”Apologize…” Ye Qing calmly looked at the man and said, ”That’s impossible!”

”Then there’s nothing more to say…” The man stepped back and said, ”Just as well, I’ve been wanting to learn the Wing Chun Fist of the Southern Fist King!”
