Rebirth: A Cinderella's Counterattack

Chapter 1689: Chapter 1669: Everything Can Be Bought with Honor Points

”So, if the gap is huge the first time, we won’t be able to catch up later?” Di Jun asked, looking puzzled at Luo Qianqian, sinking into thought.

He knew clearly that the information Luo Qianqian got was certainly confusing. After all, they were from the same class; there was no need to hide anything, right?

But why exactly can’t they catch up? And why do the other grades seem to be avoiding them? What is the reason?

It’s like a chasm, filling his heart with doubts, yet he can’t find an answer.

During the previous entrance test, he could manipulate the information gathering methods a bit, but now it is completely impossible; even money can’t buy information. Why is that?

”Shui Yuntian mentioned something else,” Luo Qianqian continued.

”What?”

”Here, Glory Points can buy everything.”

Instantly, Di Jun’s face was filled with despair.

He must have been an idiot—here, money is useless; the only circulating currency is the Glory Points!

He actually forgot about that! Using money to trade?

Seeing Di Jun’s expression, He Wenyu immediately guessed the reason for his previous failure, but there’s nothing he can do about it. After all...

”If Glory Points can buy everything, can we also implement a reward-and-punishment system in our class? On-time arrivals earn Glory Points, arriving punctually multiple times in a row doubles the reward, but being late once results in deductions?” He Wenyu looked excitedly at Luo Qianqian.

Luo Qianqian paused, then shook her head: ”When Glory Points are scarce, perhaps that’s possible. But right now, we have plenty of Glory Points. Some people even exchange Glory Points for Spirit Stones...”

”For cultivation, that’s not a bad thing,” Di Jun squinted: ”I think I probably know the potential situation we might face.”

”Hmm?” Luo Qianqian and the group immediately looked over, all filled with curiosity.

”The assessments might relate to our Glory Points and the academy’s benefits. They should determine some kind of distribution based on evaluations,” Di Jun said, but then squinted slightly: ”But we’ll soon find out about these things.”

”Hmm?” He Wenyu looked at Di Jun in amazement. Is he going to read fortunes or what?

However, it was clear that He Wenyu misunderstood Di Jun.

Di Jun directly stopped a senior Yellow Class student on the road: ”I have some questions for you. I’ll give you Glory Points.”

Seeing this blunt method left He Wenyu a bit speechless, but Luo Qianqian had to admit that although it was a silly method, it was indeed effective.

”I don’t know...” The other trembled but decisively shook his head.

”One hundred Honor Points,” Di Jun, although having many Glory Points, wasn’t about to waste them.

”I don’t know...”

”Five hundred.”

”Don’t know...”

”One thousand.”

”... Gulp, no...”

”Two thousand.”

”...”

”Three thousand.”

”What do you want to know...” The other finally couldn’t resist and swallowed hard before speaking up.

”Monthly assessment,” Di Jun replied bluntly.

The other’s face changed, but he spoke softly: ”After the first monthly assessment, the exchange for cultivation consumables will be opened. In the competition among the four classes, those who lose all three matches won’t get the next month’s Glory Points.”

”Unable to exchange cultivation materials, the gap will become bigger and bigger?” Di Jun immediately understood, then took the other’s card and transferred three thousand points to it, looking at the three thousand and eight Glory Points on his card, feeling a bit speechless: ”Doesn’t the academy have a way to earn Glory Points?”

”Yes, but classes with scores below ten cannot take the tasks.” And Yellow Class scores are always... zero.

”Thank you.” Di Jun released him, knowing there was nothing else to ask since they had gotten enough information.

The other quickly left, while Di Jun frowned and turned around to face the few waiting nearby: ”Any thoughts?”

”We need to know the assessment format,” Luo Qianqian immediately said: ”Facing Heaven Class and Earth Class might be difficult, but there’s no reason we can’t win against Mystery Class, right?”

”But there’s another point,” Long Tu looked at Di Jun: ”The information we can get, others can too. Even with tacit agreements not to disclose, the remaining Yellow Class wants to maintain the current situation. They don’t want to become the backdrop.”

If their class really succeeds, clearly other Yellow Classes would seem very weak, and their image would be magnified.

Maybe, they’d be seen as a source of hope, but more likely they’d become a target for Mystery Class.

”These are manageable; just afraid they won’t give us the chance to arrange ourselves,” Luo Qianqian nodded.

The biggest anomaly in their class is probably the three of them, right?

They are the ones expelled from Heaven Class.

In a strategy akin to an ancient racing tactic, they don’t need to split into three tiers; they just need to focus their strongest power against Mystery Class’s weakest force to ensure they won’t fall behind.

The effort from Heaven Class and Earth Class is something their class cannot currently match. Within the Sky Mansion, the efforts from each individual surpass the most from their group; at this time, they truly can’t muster the spirit to fight.

And right now, the most crucial survival challenge for Yellow Class isn’t Mystery Class?

Defeating the immediate threat is most important.

”There’s no rush for this, but we can stop offering wake-up services. After all, once a month passes, everything will become clear. Let’s focus on those willing to work hard; we can’t afford not to fight in group battles,” Di Jun sighed in relief.

The wake-up calls were really annoying.

He didn’t owe anyone anything. Just because he became the Yellow Class leader, does he have to bear this unknown anger?

Most importantly, compared to Yellow Class, obviously Heaven Class is better, right?

He accepted everything without complaint, so where exactly do all these opinions come from?

”Now I feel... maybe we should try earning Glory Points while our class scores aren’t deducted. Although my balance isn’t small, I feel it’ll soon be insufficient.” In this world where anything can be bought.

If everything could be bought, can people be purchased too? Could she?

Luo Qianqian had a strange thought but quickly dismissed it, obediently looking at the ground.

”Indeed, we should ask Ji Lei tomorrow,” Di Jun nodded.
