Chapter 321: Chapter 253: Giant Dragon Invasion, Whose Territory Is This?

Lu Datong was extremely anxious.

After returning to the capital to report, the Commander of the Imperial Guard was tasked with transporting Princess Longyu’s dowry. It contained countless gold, silver, and jewels, as well as all sorts of rare treasures. The Court dispatched 3,000 members of the Forbidden Army and several Imperial Palace Experts to escort it.

With such a grand procession, Lu Datong had thought there wouldn’t be any problems.

After all, the Celestial Net had surrendered and the Ancient Barbarians were gone. Who would dare to make a move on the Golden Sparrow Court’s Forbidden Army?

But he had failed to account for the Aliens.

Just moments ago, a group of Aliens had suddenly rushed out. They had airships, a few of them were incredibly powerful, and they even had flying Giant Beasts. The three thousand Forbidden Army soldiers couldn’t hold them off.

Lu Datong had barely managed to escape with his life.

But if Princess Longyu’s dowry was stolen, his life would be forfeit many times over.

So, Lu Datong flew his helicopter at full speed to the nearby Huaguo Mountain to ask for help.

”What? Someone dared to rob Princess Longyu’s dowry? Are they courting death?”

Upon hearing Lu Datong, Pei Zhi was shocked. He didn’t dare to delay and immediately shouted, ”General Lu, don’t worry! I’ll report this to my superiors and request reinforcements!”

At that moment, Yang Wanli walked out and said, ”I’ll go handle it first.”

”Minister, you... weren’t you going to the Ancient Barbarian Country to guide the Refugees?”

”One must prioritize. I will retrieve the princess’s dowry first!”

As he spoke, Yang Wanli boarded the helicopter directly and said to Lu Datong, ”Hey, let’s get going! Quickly!”

”Just you alone?”

”I am an army of one. Let’s go!”

Lu Datong was stunned. He was highly skeptical of Yang Wanli’s strength, but for the man to step forward so boldly, he must have some skill.

But before the helicopter could take off, a massive floating airship appeared in the distant sky, entering everyone’s line of sight.

Surrounding the airship were several flying Giant Beasts.

If any Players had been there to see it, they would have recognized those flying Giant Beasts as Giant Dragons, each about thirty meters long.

Lu Datong was shocked and cried out, ”It’s them! They actually chased us here!”

”Huh, who’s so arrogant that they dare to trespass in Huaguo Mountain Territory?”

Yang Wanli glanced up at the sky, saw the floating behemoth and the Giant Dragons surrounding it, and frowned slightly. He immediately shouted, ”They’re hostile! All non-combatants, evacuate immediately!”

At his cry, the crowd of people on Eggshell Pier immediately scattered in all directions.

Meanwhile, aboard the massive airship, a group of Players had also spotted Huaguo Mountain.

”There’s a settlement up ahead. Looks like there are a lot of people!”

”This Eastern Continent seems richer than the Western Continent. We made a killing on that last raid!”

”That little helicopter that got away is right up ahead!”

”Hold on, that settlement looks like a Player’s territory!”

”So what? We’re here to hit Player territories!”

”Destroying Player territories is our specialty. If it really is one, then let’s wipe it out!”

”Giant Dragons for ground-clearing, Assassins for stealth, locate the Heart of Chaos, get the bombs ready, and blow it to hell!”

The Players on the airship were all brimming with fighting spirit.

They weren’t Players from the Eastern Continent. They were all from the Western Continent. A few days ago, while exploring the Atlantis Ruins, they were accidentally teleported from the Atlantic Ocean. They had now been on the Eastern Continent for three days, and had been plundering for three days.

Their massive airship was called the Atlantis Ark, capable of carrying ten thousand people!

However, there were only 300 Players on board at the moment. 299 of them were Adventurers, with only one Chaos Lord: Li Bolili, who possessed the A-rank Talent [Giant Dragon Affinity].

Outside the Atlantis Ark, the Giant Dragons that looked like escorts were Li Bolili’s Soldiers. There were six in total, all of them Red Dragons skilled at clearing the ground with Dragon Flame.

But Li Bolili was not the leader of these Players; she was only the number three figure.

The true core of this team was Zhang Weike. His class was Gun Master, he possessed the Gun Fighting Skill, and his nickname was ”God of Slaughter.”

The number two figure was named Yun Li, an Undead Assassin with powerful stealth abilities who specialized in assassinations.

Zhang Weike was dressed in a sharp suit. He was tall with deep-set eyes. Staring at the land ahead, he said, ”Everyone, don’t get careless. The Eastern Continent has experts. Don’t forget about Sun Wukong and Yang Jian!”

”Speaking of Sun Wukong and Yang Jian, I’d actually love to meet them and see if they’re really as powerful as the rumors say!”

”I’m not sure about Yang Jian’s strength, but that Sun Wukong must be the real deal. The fact that the Kobold Ji Liangren is willing to be his underling proves it.”

”All talk and no action is boring. Everyone, get ready. We’re invading!”

The Players aboard the Atlantis Ark moved quickly.

They weren’t ordinary Players. They were like well-trained soldiers, each one knowing exactly what they needed to do.

A moment later, the Atlantis Ark slowed down, while the six Giant Dragons flew off swiftly in six different directions, beginning their invasion of Huaguo Mountain.

There was a Player on the back of each of the six Giant Dragons. They were the ”noble” Dragon Knights.

In the Western Continent, Dragon Knight was a highly sought-after class.

The Western Continent was different from the Eastern Continent. The Eastern Continent was ruled by what resembled a feudal Court, its technology was backward, and its powerful figures were merely martial artists. Those at the very pinnacle, on the level of King Pingxi, Li Ben, were said to have achieved Rejuvenation and become a Celestial Immortal.

There were also legacies of Cultivators, but they were exceedingly rare and had now been all but severed by Wang Yi.

Among the Court and the common people, there were no class legacies.

But in the Western Continent, class legacies did exist. There was no Court there, only the Holy See. The Holy See itself was diverse, spreading various faiths, mostly under the names of Divine Halls, such as the Giant Dragon Divine Hall, the Dogman Temple, the Dark Night Divine Hall, the Sun Divine Hall, and so on.
