Brand New Life Online: Rise Of The Goddess Of Harvest

I channeled my Nature Soul, thinking about the best soil for these seeds. I thought about something red, with fire spirit essence, and then infused these thoughts through my Spiritual Powers, thinking about it, fire spirits arrived and merged into my Aura, infusing themselves into the soil.

FLUOOOSH!

Like that, the soil was “blessed” something I didn’t expect to happen, as its color changed completely from dark brown to bright red soil. It was even warm, something I also didn’t expect at all!

“Woah… it changed a lot?” Mark asked. “H-How did you even do that?”

“I don’t know…” I muttered. “I kind of imagined it? And it happened…”

“Y-You imagined? That’s awesome…” Mark muttered. “It’s kind of like you blessed it then?”

“Y-Yeah…” I nodded, touching the soil and quickly putting my sandals back after cleaning my soles. “Verdant did mention something about training my… “goddess powers” or something.”

“Damn, that’s cool,” Mark was surprised. “And this soil its perfect I think.”

He quickly began checking it, grabbing the soil and even smelling it…

“It has a lot of sulfur?” He wondered. “It’s weird… but maybe it’ll work well.”

We planted the fire spirit seeds he had, and we quickly saw how great that worked after watering them down a bit.

POP! POP! POP!

Almost just a few seconds later, all the seeds started germinating, little seedling appearing from the soil one after another.

They remained tiny, but I could tell they would grow very fast, and unlike normal plants, their colors were red and orange mostly, very amazing.

“I wonder if there’s some law against growing magical plants in your garden…” I wondered.

“Hmm… Maybe?” Mark wondered. “But it doesn’t really matter I think, there could be or not, but you’re being protected by SWORD now, so I doubt something like that would be bad.”

“Hm, yeah,” I nodded. “Well, Olivia said she was an alchemist I think, and I bet they grew their plants themselves… Or maybe in the Magus Association?”

“I suppose it’s nothing big to care about, unless you’re doing acts of vandalism or crimes with them,” Mark said. “Alright let’s plant some more! I’ve got a hundred seeds left!”

“That many?!” I gasped.

“I made a lot using a skill!” Mark smiled. “I also plan to make a totem and… Aah, I’m so sorry!”

“Eh?”

“I didn’t even ask you about this and I’m already planning on taking a piece of your domain…” He sighed. “I’m acting a bit too selfish I guess? I got too excited…”

“Hahah, there’s nothing to worry about! You have the right to use a part of it for whatever you want Mark, don’t worry,” I shrugged. “It’s a huge plot of land and it might continue growing big! You’re my… well, my future husband, so you shouldn’t really worry about these things…”

“Ah, what a relief… Well, I was planning on making totems, to carve them out with my own tools from spirit wood,” he said. “What do you think?”

“Sounds cool! I bet they would also be great decorations.” I nodded. “How are you making them? and how many? Wait, what are their effects?”

“They’ll be guardians, but they can also spread smaller blessings for the plants,” he explained. “I mostly wanted guardians though. And the amount? Well it depends on you, I could make as many as you want. But I bet too many would look weird.”

“I guess you could make like ten for now?” I wondered.

“Sure, I was planning on five, but ten is good too!” he nodded happily.

“Alright you got me pumped up a little… Let me help you out with this!” I said with a confident smile.

Like that, I brought from my Inventory Wood extracted from my Yggdrasil body in Arcadia. I had stored a lot of it from all my previous forms.

Each evolution I underwent had a different type of wood and quality. The first evolutions had the lowest, but the wood was easier to carve out into shapes.

Then the second became tougher, but with more spirit energy, the third became tough, and the white one, the current one, is actually quite soft when it is carved using magic.

But it seems to be a special wood that changes texture and molecular density depending on me, even when it was taken out of my body, it still somewhat part of my body…

If we are slow and delicate, it can be carved rapidly though! But if we are rough and we try to hurry up, the wood hardens for some reason.

I suppose that the softer you touch it, the softer it feels, but the more pressure is applied, the harder the wood becomes, until perhaps becoming harder than steel.

“Oh wow, this is a lot of wood!” Mark said. “Is this from your tree form?”

“Yep,” I nodded. “Do you have some of your own avatar too?”

“Yeah, I’ve got one that’s black and metallic, I don’t know if it’ll be easy to carve,” he said. “And the normal one.”

His wood was warmer and had a fiery aura, with a smoky scent… Which made me want to eat barbeque for lunch.

“Alright what do I do? I kind of want to make a big one!” I said.

“Totems don’t have specific forms,” Mark explained. “Just try to make them look like an animal. Or animals, stacking together one over the other… Can you do it?”

“Yeah I can!” I winked at him, grabbing the tools he had. “Let’s begin…”

CRACK!

The tool broke instantly.

“Ah…”

He had given it to me, and I broke it!

“I-I’m sorry!”

I panicked a bit.

“Aaah, it happened to me too, the wood is still very tough right? You have to enchant it using your aura, so the tool is strong enough.”

“Enchant it, huh? Oh, alright!”

Why didn’t I think about it?

I quickly enchanted the tools, infusing spirits into them and my aura.

Until they became shiny and super stylish looking.

“Let’s see…!”

And as I began carving, my hands moved on their own, slowly shaping a large log into something magnificent.

I started with the head of a dragon, then a phoenix, then I went for a purple snake and a black panther, and lastly a white tiger.

It took me a whole hour, but it was done! I just needed to add paint now, maybe.
