Brand New Life Online: Rise Of The Goddess Of Harvest

I decided to experiment and because I also wanted a World Boss Skill to become a Soul-Bound Divine Skill, I selected the Ray of Destruction Skill.

Ding!

[You have selected the World Boss Skill [Ray of Destruction: Lv10 (Max Level)] to Evolve using the [Divine Skill Evolution Ticket (SS Grade)] x1!]

[World Boss Points Requirement: 300.000]

[Do you wish to proceed with the evolution and spend the required World Boss Points?]

[Yes] [No]

I pressed [Yes], and the evolution instantly started. The Skill Orb surged from my Soul and merged with the ticket, which had turned into particles of light.

FLUOSH!

Both merged together, as the Skill Orb grew larger and larger, overflowing with swirling golden and green energies.

So this is how the Ray of Destruction Skill looks like? Or is it like this because it belongs to Yggdrasil?

Maybe their colors vary depending on whose these Skill Orbs belong to.

It quickly materialized a new pixelated icon. Before it resembled just the huge silhouette of a strange, gigantic being firing a beam of many colors.

But with this new evolution, it resembled the giant Yggdrasil Tree manifesting a massive wooden cannon from its body and firing a gigantic green and golden laser.

Whoever is doing these pixel art icons is very talented!

Then, once it grew thrice its original size, it flew back to me, and it connected to my Soul itself.

FLAAASH!

I felt a new surge of power, as something was directly imprinted into my soul.

The power of a World Boss, of Yggdrasil, my Avatar.

Ding!

[You have successfully evolved the World Boss Skill: [Ray of Destruction: Lv10 (Max Level)] into the Divine Soul-Bound World Boss Skill: [Divine Yggdrasil Cannon Of Destruction: Lv1/20 (Evolved Skill)]!]

[Due to the Effects of the Ticket, the Divine Soul-Bound World Boss Skill: [Divine Yggdrasil Cannon Of Destruction: Lv1/20 (Evolved Skill)] has gained 10 Bonus Levels.]

“Ooh, this is sweet!”

I quickly glanced at the new Skill that was born from it.

[Divine Yggdrasil Cannon Of Destruction: Lv10/20 (Evolved Skill)]

[World Boss Points Required For Level Up]: [0/1.100.000]

The Evolved form of the [Ray of Destruction] World Boss Skill, which has now fully assimilated with the power of Yggdrasil, its original wielder to become a unique extension of her.

By spending a variable amount of MP and Spirit Energy, the user is capable of summoning a gigantic cannon made of Yggdrasil’s Divine Spiritual Wood, which will charge with the user’s powers and unleash a terrific, gigantic laser of destruction, whose element is based on the World Boss Five Main Attribute, or none. For a duration of time based on the energy spent to summon the cannon, the user will be able to continuously fire these lasers at any enemy.

Damage Dealt Increases by 4.500% plus 2% with every 10 Authority Stat Points. This Ray of Destruction can ignore 95% of a target’s Total Defenses, plus an additional 0.1% with every 50 Authority Stat Points. This attack will always deal at least 70% of its total damage, no matter how high the foe’s Total Defense is. 30% of the Damage dealt to any foe will be absorbed as Health and 15% of it as Mana.

Once the Cannon of Destruction hits a target, a giant explosion will occur, which will spread damage by 600 meters around the target, this explosion only deals 60% of the total damage, however. You can manually adjust the spread damage as you please. There’s a 50% chance for the area affected to rapidly expand into {Yggdrasil’s Divine Domain of Nature}, expanding the user’s Domain Territory and creating Spiritual Energy and Spirits that will aid them in battle.

Total Skill Power will decrease the farther you are from your {Territory} by 0.5% for every kilometer up to a decrease in power of 30%. However, the more Authority Stat you have, the lesser this penalty will become.

Cannon Summoning Duration and its Cooldown depends on energy spent, damage dealt, and area of effect. You can shapeshift the Yggdrasil Cannon form and shape and either combine it with your body or make it as separate construction.

—–

Oh wow, it’s really good! It’s a total upgrade from the previous one! And now because it is attached to a “cannon” construction, it can fire several times in a row as long as the cannon is summoned.

Its summoning duration is also based on how much energy I decide to spend while summoning it! Meaning that I could go for a long-winded battle and create one that’ll last quickly or a smaller, faster cannon with little energy that can eliminate foes quickly and then move on.

“Alright, done with this… Which other Skill should I evolve?”

Maybe another World Boss Skill or…?

What other Fusion Skill I got which is very important and I would want as a Soul-Bound Skill?

Hmm, I am torn between.

[Yggdryad’s Divine Spiritual Presence: Lv10/15 (Fused Skill)]

As an Yggdryad, you’re the very source of Divine Spiritual Nature Energy. By merely being somewhere, Nature comes naturally to you, without you needing to do absolutely anything. By spending 100 MP per second while walking or simply staying idle, in any place, any surrounding Tiles will automatically transform into [Spiritual Forest Tiles] (Max 100).

While being close to a place with a high concentration of nature, or any Tile related with it, including the [Spiritual Forest Tiles], your Stats increase by +120%, your Spiritual Energy, HP, and MP Regeneration is enhanced by +200%, and any ally near you receives an enhancement of +50% to All Stats and Spiritual Energy, HP, and MP Regeneration per Skill Level. Additionally, there’s a 50% chance for nature surrounding you to protect you from lethal blows.

Additionally, while bathing on the sun directly, or by being within the [Spiritual Forest Tiles], Stats are increased temporarily by +100%, your recovery of Spiritual Energy, HP and MP increases by +200% and the power of all your Skills and Magic Power and Effects are enhanced by +100%. And if you’re within [Spiritual Forest Tiles], reduces Damage Taken by 10% of total WIS Stat (Max 50%), and you can summon your {Divine Aura} to enchant all Skills and Magic with {Divinity}.

{Divinity}: Increases the power of Magic and Skills by +500%, Ignores -50% of foe’s Defenses. Can ignore Invulnerability Status.

[Spiritual Sacred Sanctuary: Lv10/15 (Fused Skill)]

An Yggdryad’s presence is said to be utterly divine, by merely existing, they exude a beautiful, powerful sacred energy forming a sanctuary around their bodies, where Spirits and the Energies of Nature converge together to protect her automatically from all Damage or Status Effects.

While activated, the Spiritual Sacred Sanctuary will form a powerful Great Spiritual Barrier around the user, which will take 100% of the damage for the user. This acts as a Passive Skill that can be turned on and off, and the cost of MP varies depending in the damage taken, the Barrier might break if MP runs out or its durability limit is reached.

The Barrier can be conjured several times in a row to create layers, and it can also be conjured over party members or friends as a Buff that lasts 30 Minutes. Summons and Tamed Monsters share your own Great Spiritual Barrier. Spiritual Barriers can be freely shaped into different forms and can naturally float in midair. They can be set as bubbles to protect items, or other people from farther away. MP Cost to maintain and create barriers is reduced by -50%.

Stay updated through My Virtual Library Empire

By activating the Skill’s True Effect, the {Spiritual Sacred Sanctuary} will be summoned, which will have double the durability of normal Great Spirit Barriers, and enhance all Stats by +250%, while being able to automatically absorb Spirits in the air to strengthen itself, however, Spiritual Energy will be drained in great quantities per second. While having the {Spiritual Sacred Sanctuary} Activated, any attacks will drain 50% of the damage dealt as HP and MP. Any attacks Drain Effects and you are able to combine this Skill with your {Great Spirit’s Aura} to passively drain your foes HP and MP by 2.5% per minute.

At the same time, if foes hit the barrier with physical or magical attacks, 25% of the damage to the barrier in physical damage will be drained as HP and 25% of the damage to the barrier in magic damage will be drained as MP.

But I think I’ll go for the first one. The barrier and defensive power of the second Skill would be ideal for defense, but the first one has a lot of special effects which I could benefit a lot IRL!

Especially if I can easily spread my Domain, it would simply be utterly wonderful. Mostly because it takes me so long to spread it normally…

But with this, I don’t even have to actively do it, simply activate the Skill and move, and the Domain will begin expanding on its own.

Also the {Divinity} effect that can pierce through invulnerability is a must have for IRL! I need this broken mechanic immediately if I’ll be fighting impossibly powerful foes in the future.

And even more, what other incredible effects could it gain once it evolves? I have to see that.

Alright, let’s pick this one then.

Ding!
