Brand New Life Online: Rise Of The Goddess Of Harvest

The two Fae seemed willing to show me what they could do, but before that, the black-capped Fae handled me what seemed to be a small, white-colored scroll.

“Huh? What’s this?”

I wondered that as I grabbed it, quickly realizing it was actually a letter with words inside, made out of magic runes which I couldn’t understand at first, but upon close inspect, as if illusions, they twisted into readable, English words.

“A letter?” Mark wondered, standing by my side.

“Looks like it,” Elena nodded, doing the same.

“Huh, let me see!” Elisa said.

“Um, what does it say in there?” Monica asked.

“You guys, aren’t you bothering her a bit too much? Give her some space…” sighed Anna, crossing her arms. “But what does it say?”

“I can detect some faint divine spirit energy in it!” said the Great Spirit. “It’s something important! Read it!”

“O-Okay! please everyone, calm down, give me some more space…”

They walked a few steps back, finally with my own space, I quickly started reading it on my own, without saying it out loud for now.

And what it said was…

~~~~~
For my dearest Spirit Maiden, Elayne.
I’ve been watching you with interest for some time now.
Your love for plants and spirits is truly awe inspiring.
It is a pity that two of my children died there, but they came back as heroes.
Please don’t worry about them, my fair maiden.
Instead, I’ve chosen two very special children for this new task.
One of them will help you heal your friends.
And another will help you weaken enemies from afar.
This way, they can protect you better within the Domain.
I’m very interested in what you will do next.
Your Domain, although very small, has a beautiful aura, truly captivating, just like your beauty and your honest heart.
I am eagerly waiting for your Domain to one day become a Realm. Maybe once that happens, I will invite you to my castle, so we can share a meal, while I sing poems praising your grace.
Until then, bound by my own Laws, I cannot step out of my Realm.
I wish you the best of lucks, my most beautiful fairy, I am sure that you will do well.
I will be looking over you.
Please, take care.
To you with great love, King Oberon.
~~~~~

“Huh…”

I’m really flattered and all, but is this how he usually talks to every female, or was he being flirty with me?

I hope he doesn’t… actually like me or something, that would be a bit weird!

I quickly grabbed the paper and squeezed it, before everyone came running back to me asking what it said.

“What did it say?!” my daughter wondered.

Continue your adventure with empire

“Was it King Oberon? It was him, right?” Katherine asked.

“Elayne?” Mark wondered, curious.

Ugh, what would he say if he reads this letter?

I need to throw it away or burnt it!

Yes, I need to burn this before- Ah.

“Gotcha!”

The Great Spirit out of nowhere stole my letter, opening it up and reading everything.

“For my dearest Spirit Maiden, Elayne. I’ve been watching you with interest for some time now. Your love for plants and spirits is truly awe inspiring. It is a pity that two of my children died there, but they came back as heroes. Please don’t worry about them, my fair maiden? Huh?

What’s with his way of talking?” she wondered. “Instead, I’ve chosen two very special children for this new task. One of them will help you heal your friends. And another will help you weaken enemies from afar. This way, they can protect you better within the Domain. I’m very interested in what you will do next.

Your Domain, although very small, has a beautiful aura, truly captivating, just like your beauty and your honest heart- Pfff! He’s definitely flirty with you! Hahaha!”

I covered my face in embarrassment.

“I’m sorry Mark! I didn’t mean it like that, I don’t like him!” I apologized.

“Huh? T-There’s nothing to apologize for?” Mark wondered. “That another man likes you is not really your fault… Although King Oberon is… quite the competition. I better up my game too.”

“Eh?! No, I will never replace you, don’t think like that!” I panicked.

“Haha, I was joking,” he patted my head. “Don’t worry. I’m not mad at you… Though, yeah, I’m a bit mad at him. Doesn’t he know we have a relationship?”

“Um… well, I can’t believe this…” Katherine’s impression of her King quickly pummeled. “T-To think my King would be this flirty with a human woman… He hasn’t done something like this for the last six hundred years! I thought he had promised the fairies and spirits he wouldn’t go around the mortal realm flirting again!

He even made an Oath, so he’s confined on his own realm to not cause any more mischief outside but… I guess letters are fair game, huh?”

“I haven’t read everything yet, just you wait!” the Great Spirit kept laughing. “I am eagerly waiting for your Domain to one day become a Realm. Maybe once that happens, I will invite you to my castle, so we can share a meal, while I sing poems praising your grace. Until then, bound by my own Laws, I cannot step out of my Realm.

I wish you the best of lucks, my most beautiful fairy, I am sure that you will do well. I will be looking over you. Please, take care. To you with great love, King Oberon! Hahaha! With Great Love?!

Oh my gosh this is becoming a romantic comedy now! Hahahaha!”

The damned Great Spirit wouldn’t stop laughing in the air, rolling around and giggling until she hit a tree.

“Ouch!”

I quickly glanced back at Katherine, who was facepalming.

“I-Is he always like this?” I asked.

“Yes… well, supposedly, not anymore,” she said. “But she does flirt with every maiden in the realm that’s an adult. Thankfully I’m still considered a child! He’s a womanizer!”

“Huh… I remember that in the fairy tales, there was Queen Titania too… she doesn’t exist?” asked Elisa, who was knowledgeable about the origins of King Oberon.

“Queen Titania? Who?” Katherine wondered, tilting her head.

“So Queen Titania ended being born a whole other world apart from Oberon?!” the Great Spirit screamed. “Dammit… Hm, well, our Titania is pretty lonely, right? Maybe…”

“Are you playing at matchmaking now?!” I screamed.

Seriously, someone needs to shut her up already!
